Sugarbones Kinky Kuma Pins

Oh my gosh, as if it's July already!? Last month went by too fast! Yesterday, I returned from my holiday in North Wales; I had a fantastic time, even though the weather was miserable for most of the week. I will be blogging about my trip very soon :) When I arrived home, there was lots of mail waiting for me, including some awesome pin badges I'd ordered. Today's post is going to be all about those pins. Enjoy!

Sugarbones Kinky Kuma Pins

I've been following the awesome company, Sugarbones on instagram for a while now! They have the loveliest, girly, sailor moon inspired illustrations made into stickers, pins and patches. I first saw a Sugarbones illustration on tumblr, a gorgeous print of a girl covered in tattoos, sticking her middle finger up to all the haters with a banner saying 'My Body, My Choice'. Sounds familiar to anyone? Recently, they announced that they were releasing a new pin badge set and as soon as I saw them, I had to have them!

How cute are these pins!? They make me smile everytime I look at them! I love that they are San-X characters as I'm a big fan of the brand. The set includes Rilakkuma, Kiiroitori and Korilakkuma dressed in kinky gear. I haven't talk about much sex-related topics on my blog before, but I'm into some pretty kinky things, so these pin badges are right up my street :)

I absolutely love how detailed these pin badges are! I especially like how intricate the design is for this Korilakkuma pin, which is dressed as a domme with a flogger in hand and an awesome little lingerie set and matching mask on. I like the bold black outlines on these pins, too; they definitely make the designs more eye-catching.

The next pin included in the 'Kinky Kuma' set is this adorable little Kiiroitori wearing a leather mask. I like how his wings are held up almost like he's jumping for joy, or in this case excitment maybe ;) haha this pin is much smaller than the other two, and he has a pretty simple design compared to the others. I wish he has a little gap in his leather mask with his beak popping out because I think it would make him look a lot cuter.

This rilakkuma pin is my favourite of the bunch. I very much love the character, he's just so adorable! I love how the artist has given him blushing cheeks, too! He is designed to be the submissive in this pin set and has some robe tied around him in the Shibari style. I have been fascinated by Shibari for many years now; it is the Japanese art of rope tying specifically to be used as an artistic bondage. There are so many different ways it can be done and can include some really complex methods, making it popular with the BDSM lifestyle.

Another thing I really like about this pin set is it's presentation. I love the card that the pin badges are displayed on and how it has been designed to resemble a BDSM playroom. It kinda makes me never want to take these pins off the card! Overall, I'm very happy with this product. The pins are so bright and colourful, and great quality too. I also like the size of the domme and sub bear pins. The only problem I had with this set was that the Rilakkuma pin on the back of the badge was actually bent. I thought it would break off as I was bending it back into position, but it didn't so everythings fine now. The set was $15 (around £11) plus P&P from the US. I'm really glad that I've been able to add some unique, quirky pins to my ever-growing collection. Check out the Sugarbones shop here.

Thankyou for reading!
