Horror Movie Tag

Hello everyone! I hope all of you are having a marvellous weekend! It's 19 days into October and I'm only now posting something Halloween-y. This is shocking behaviour and I thought it was about time that I fixed it!! Over the last week or so, I've been trying to come up with spooky post ideas, so it was perfect timing for the lovely Kim over at Chimmyville to tag me in this Horror Movie Tag! Be sure to head over to her blog and check out her post :) I hope you all enjoy reading my answers!

1. What is the first horror movie you remember watching?

When I was around 10 or 11 years old, I was hanging out at my friends house and being the weird little vampire-obsessed kids that we were back then (totally not changed much, haha!), we decided to watch Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992). I felt like such a rebel because I knew I wouldn't have been allowed to watch it at home :D In all the excitement, we then wanted to watch another horror, and ended up choosing Alien (1979) next. Are there any movies that made you feel cool when you watched it as a kid?

2. What is your favourite horror movie?

My more well-known favourite horror movies are A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987), Rob Zombie's The Devil's Rejects (2005), and 2017's IT movie (Chapter 1). I also LOVE a much lesser-known horror by Wes Craven, The People Under the Stairs (1991) and a more recent fantastic, and often underrated, movie called The Witch / The VVitch: A New-England Folk Tale (2015). Any fellow Black Phillip fans reading? :D

3. What's your favourite horror movie genre?

I love slasher movies best. I also thoroughly enjoy a good old psychological horror/thriller, especially The Silence of the Lambs (1991).

4. What genre scares you the most?

I don't get scared by horrors, but there's definitely things that make me cringe (and not in a 'gosh, that's bad' kind of way). When it comes to some gore, I always have cover my eyes but of course, I'm peeping through my hands because I'm too curious for my own good, haha! One scene that comes to mind is from House of Wax (2005) when a character gets their Achilles tendon cut with scissors... eeeek!

5. What is the last horror movie you watched that actually scared you?

As I said above, I don't really get scared when watching horror. I just love them! But I've jumped a couple of times... I'm not a fan of that clown doll in Poltergeist (1982) that pulls the kid under the bed! I also once watched one of those dramatized 'based on a real story' style thrillers, called Megan Is Missing (2011) and there's a dead body scene in that which looked so realistic the first time I watched it that I jumped! Anyone ever seen this movie?

A photo showing a pile of Horror VHS movies, with tiny horror character figures sitting on top of them

6. Who is your ultimate Scream Queen?

I think Drew Barrymore was brilliant at the start of Scream (1996)… did you know that she was originally offered the lead role but she couldn't do it, so Neve Campbell was cast? I love Neve Campbell's performance though so I'm happy it worked out that way! I'm gonna have the iconic 'Hello Sidney' line stuck in my head for ages now XD One of the best horror movie intros ever!

Maika Monroe's role as lead character in It Follows (2014) is fantastic, too! I know it's not a movie, but Sarah Paulson is always epic in American Horror Story :) Who else watches the show? If so, do you have a favourite season? Mine's Season 4: Freak Show. I love Anya Taylor-Joy as well; she's fabulous in the Witch and Split (2017), and I can't wait to see her in more horror/thriller movies.

7. What's a concept that you'd like to see in horror?

I'm not sure, because to be honest I am a sucker for certain tropes, even if they've been done time and time again. What can I say? I'm a creature of habit :) It's always a welcome surprise to see a unique twist to the stereotypical storyline of most slasher movies though! I love unique concepts, such as the one for It Follows, which you really need to watch if you haven't already! Oh, and I would love a good cult movie, that isn't cheesy af. I've not watched Midsommar (2019) yet... If you have, what did you think?

I have started to enjoy sci-fi horror a lot more after discovering that they are not all about aliens... which are not really my cup of tea when it comes to horror. I enjoyed Splice back in 2009, for example. It would be great to see more like this, that have more focus on the science side of things, if that makes sense.

8. What is your favourite on-screen kill?

Oh wow, there's so many! What horror fan doesn't have a long list of favourites!? (or maybe I'm just weird...). To name a few: the scene in Child's Play 2 (1990) when the guy gets his eyes impaled in the factory's doll production line, the end of Hostel: Part 2 (2007) when the protagonist gets her own back!, the puppet scene in A Nightmare on Elm Street 3, Paris Hilton's characters death in House of Wax, the chair torture scene in (I think) Hellraiser: Deader (2005). I could list more... but I'll stop now before you'll all think I'm weirder than you already know I am XD

9. What's your favourite franchise?

I adore the franchise by Rob Zombie that includes House of 1000 Corpses (2003), The Devil's Rejects and I am yet to watch the newest addition, 3 From Hell (2019). RIP Sid Haig T_T. I am also a lover of all the A Nightmare on Elm Street movies. Most of the Hellraiser movies are awesome, too, as well as the first few Child's Play movies.

10. Who's your favourite horror director?

Wes Craven and Rob Zombie are my all-time favourites. Clive Baker too, of course, for Hellraiser. I know that Guillermo del Toro is more well-known for his creepy fantasy but the Spanish horror The Orphanage (2007) is brilliant and he's another of my favourite directors, so I'm including him anyway. Who else loves his work?

Well, those are my answers to the horror tag! I very much enjoyed writing about my favourite movie genre, and I now want to re-watch, for probably the 50th time, the horrors that I mentioned. However, I am currently doing a Horrorthon challenge, where I watch a horror movie that I have never seen before each day of October. I'm having a lot of fun with that, and I'll be sure to blog all about it at the end of the month. Are any of you guys doing a spooky movie marathon this month, whether it's a horror one or not? Before I finish up today's post, it's time to nominate some of my fabulous fellow bloggers to join in. I tag: Jess, Natalee, Eleanor , Vikki and Kiah to do the Horror Movie Tag. I'm looking forward to reading your answers guys! Feel free to answer this even if I didn't tag you, and please send me a link so I can have a read of your post :)

Thankyou for reading!

Halloween Tag

Hi lovelies! I did have another post planned for today, but that's gonna be up tomorrow now! I've been feeling really groggy all day, after spending two nights binge-watching shows until the sun comes up. The other night, I watched the entire series of new channel 4 coming-of-age dark comedy 'It's the End of the F***ing World. I kind of enjoyed it; it was one of those shows that isn't that great but you can't seem to stop watching it, if you get what I mean. Have any of you guys watched it yet? If so, what do you think? Yesterday was the release date for the second season of the Netflix original series, the amazing 'Stranger Things', so obviously I had to give up my sleep to watch as much as I could! I still have four episodes left to go, which as soon as this post is finished, I'll be giving my undecided attention to. I'm very excited for what's to come! Anyhow, I decided that for today's post, I would instead do a Halloweeny Tag. I hope you all enjoy reading my answers :)

Halloween Tag | Raiin Monkey Lifestyle Blog

I found this tag on a blog called Kat Bouska: Mama's Losin' It but I think it was originally created by Youtuber, Simply Kenna, so I'll tag both. It's a really awesome tag containing 30 Halloween-themed questions! Preparing my answers has got me even more giddy about the fact that it will be Halloween on Tuesday! I can't wait to finish up adding my decorations to my bedroom, carving a Jack-O-Lantern and having a go at creating some spooky make-up looks! How are you going to celebrate on the 31st?

Okay, so here goes...

(1)  What's your favourite horror or Halloween-themed song?

I have a few! My top five are: The Monster Mash by Bobby 'Boris' Pickett & The Crypt-Kickers, Somebody's Watching Me by Rockwell, Marilyn Manson's version of This is Halloween (originally from The Nightmare Before Christmas), Halloween by Aqua and it's not a traditional Halloween song, but I play Rihanna's Disturbia a lot around this time of year!

(2) Name something you wouldn't want to run into in a dark forest or adandoned building.

Ooo there's a lot of creepy ghouls that come to mind, but I'd have to say that the one that I'd hate to encounter the most is the Pale Man from Pan's Labyrinth.. you know the freaky naked wrinkled thing who eats children and bites fairies heads off and has gory eyes on his hands instead of on his face! He's one of the only monsters that really gives me the creeps. Have you seen Pan's Labyrinth? If not, I seriously recommend it! It's one of my favourite movies.

(3) Have you ever played with a Ouija Board?

I have never played with an actual Ouija Board but me and my friends when I was young used to try and make our own out of paper and cardboard. We were convinced that they actually worked, haha!

(4) Favourite horror monster or villain?

My all-time favourite horror villains are Otis B. Driftwood from Rob Zombie's The House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects, and Freddy Krueger from the A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise. Monsters? I'd have to say the cenobites from the Hellraiser movies. I love them! Oh, and the 'Demogorgon' from Stranger Things is awesome too.

(5) What's the creepiest thing that's ever happened while you were alone?

When I was around 13/14 years old, I was convinced that I saw a ghost running down the stairs into the vaults under my hometown's old library building, and it scared the hell out of me at the time! It was more scary because I couldn't explain what I'd seen or think of a rational reason for it.

(6) If you were dared to spend the night in a 'haunted house', would you do it?

If someone paid me, yes :D Although I think it would actually be pretty awesome to stay at a haunted house to be honest!

(7) Are you superstitous?

Nope, I don't believe in ghosts in the traditional sense. I don't think that the spirits of those passed are running around wreaking havoc only at night and throwing things around people's houses, tapping on walls, moving objects and all those little things we see in paranormal movies!

(8) Do you ever see figures in your peripheral vision?

I have experienced this so many times, and it's usually when my anxiety is really heightened or I'm exposed to my phobias. I know that it's my mind playing tricks on me because of how much I'm freaking out at the time, but it's not any less terrifying. Who else has had tis happen before?

(9) Which urban legend scares you the most?

I don't really know any urban legends, but I used to be creeped out by the idea of the Bogeyman when I was a kid. I was petrified about having my foot hanging out of the covers in case he was hiding under my bed and would grab my foot. This fear has followed me into adulthood, because I am still a little uncomfortable by the idea of my foot or arm hanging out of the bed!

(10) Do you prefer gore or thrillers?

I absolutely love a good slasher movie with lots of cheesy gore and blood, but I prefer psychological thriller movies. They are my favourite of the horror/thriller genre.

(11) Do you believe in multiple dimensions or worlds?

I don't, although the idea of them is very cool! I am fascinated by the Upside Down in Stranger Things and the thought of having another self living in a parallel universe.

(12) Ever made a potion of any sort?

I am a pagan, a white witch, a wiccan, there's many ways of saying it, and in my teens when I first started experimenting with the pagan faith, I made a few potions. One for my love life, one for good luck, one for health. Other than that, me and my sister used to make 'potions' in the bathroom, haha! We'd mix all sorts of bath products together: toothpaste, shampoo, hand wash. It was really fun, and a massive part of that was probably because we knew that we weren't supposed to be doing it! Who else did this as a kid?

(13) Do you get scared easily?

Well, I have anxiety disorder so I get scared by many situations and things, but when it comes to scary movies or books or things like that, I don't. I absolutely love all that spooky stuff!

(14) Have you ever played Bloody Mary?

Is that the childhood myth where you turn all of the lights off and stand in front of mirror, then say Bloody Mary three times? If so, then yes I went home and did this when I was in my first couple of years of high school, when everyone was talking about doing it. Also the Candyman version. I wanted to prove a point that they was no truth in the myth, because I was tired of listening to silly people in my class joking about how they'd really seen the ghosts/ghouls! Children are weird!

(15) Do you believe in demons/the devil?

I do not. Apologies for the super short answer!

Halloween Tag | Raiin Monkey Lifestyle Blog

(16) You're home alone but you hear footsteps in your house, what do you do?

Whenever I'm home alone, even when it's during the day, I keep the doors locked. So if I heard footsteps, I'd know that it wasn't a family member. The first thing I'd do is not go and act like the person who dies first in a horror movie and walk around saying 'who's there?' XD I'd make a beeline for my bathroom and lock myself in there. I'd keep quiet and make sure that I didn't bring any attention to myself whilst I thought of a way to get out of my house, then if it seemed like I was in immediate danger, I'd be straight out of my bathroom window!

(17) If you got trapped in one scary movie, which would you choose?

Probably Paranormal Activity or another ghost movie, because I don't believe in ghosts so I'm sure I'd be fine, or one of those corny horror movies where the killer makes silly decisions and only the stupid people get killed; you know which ones I mean. I'd love to know what you guys would answer for this!

(18) If you could only wear one Halloween costume for the rest of your life, what would you be?

I'd be a vampire because I would just be dressed in the usual black wardrobe, but with gorgeous make-up and a pair of badass vampire fangs. I'd rock them with pride :)

(19) Would you ever go to a graveyard at night?

I totally would; I'm not anymore scared of graveyards than I am scared of going anywhere at night. I wouldn't go anywhere on my own at night because I wouldn't feel safe. The fact that the destination would be a graveyard wouldn't change this.

(20) In a zombie apocalyse, what is your weapon of choice?

I'd love to say an epic crossbrow like Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead, however I'm a weakling and so I'd definitely struggle to use one! So, I think I'd go for a huge flame thrower gun thing, also used by Daryl Dixon. Can you tell I like Mr Dixon guys? :p

(21) Would you rather go to a Halloween party or go trick or treating?

I'd rather go trick or treating! I'm so sad that it's not a very socially acceptable activity for adults to do :( I want to dress up and get given lots of sweets!

(22) You're in a horror movie. Are you the final girl, the first to die, the comic relief, the skeptic, the smart one, or the killer?

I think it would depend on the type of horror I'm in. If it was a cheesy one with all parties making silly mistakes, I'd like to think that I'd be the smart one. If the killer was super skilled or liked to chase down his/her victims... I'd be screwed! I don't know if I'd be the first to die, but I'd certainly be doomed. I can't even navigate myself safely at the best of times! I'd be the one who stereotypically trips over a log or something XD

(23) Do you have to watch something happy after watching a horror movie so you can go to sleep?

I love horror movies, and even though I have a fear of the dark, watching horrors doesn't make this any worse than it usually is. I almost always watch horror movies in the dark in bed before I go to sleep, because I watch movies when I can't sleep and I have insomnia.

(24) Whilst watching scary movies, are you the person who yells at the characters, the person with their eyes covered the whole time, or the person who falls asleep?

I don't yell, but I constantly talk to all movies and tv shows when I'm watching them on my own, hahaha! Who else does that? My best friend is the one who has their eyes covered the whole time! Whenever we go to watch scary movies at the cinema, she has her hands over her face on all the suspense scenes.

(25) Are you the one who gets scared, or the one who does the scaring?

I don't get scared or do the scaring :) Although maybe I do indirectly because I get people to watch horror movies with me all the time and they sometimes get scared, oops!

(26) Favourite scary book?

I only 'scary' books I've ever read are some of the Ghostbumps stories by R.L. Stine. I am making it my mission to read as many of Stephen King's books as I can next year. I recently purchased the 'IT' novel (which is such a massive book!!) so I'm going to start that as soon as I finish the book I'm currently reading. Have you ever read any of Stephen King's books?

(27) How old were you when you saw your first horror movie?

I was 12 years old and I was at my friend's house. We watched Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992) and then Alien (1979) although we both got bored with that one and eventually started talking, leaving it playing in the background, haha!

(28) What was your first Halloween costume?

I think my first ever costume was probably a witch. I can't really remember myself, but I've seen some old photographs of me at around six years old with a witches hat on and wearing a bin-bag cape! The classic 90's Halloween attire.

(29) What are you going to be for Halloween this year?

I'm gutted that I'm not going out anywhere for Halloween this year. One of my friends usually hosts a Halloween party but he's working so it's not happening this time around :( I have decided that I'm still going to dress up, even if I have no where to go! I'll more than likely be a vampire since I've just invested in some more custom fangs. Last year's pair got stained with cherry sourz! #HalloweenPartyProblems

(30) If you could have a spooky halloween pet (black cat, owl, bat, rat, wolf), what would you pick?

Am I going to Hogworts!? I'll have a Barn owl and Tawny owl and a black cat and a wolf and an adorable Flying Fox fruit bat! I'll set up a Halloween-themed petting zoo :)

I hope you had fun reading through my answers, and I really hope I didn't bore you all! I love answering tag posts, and I love reading other people's answers to them even more. I just really like learning more about the person behind the blog, on topics that they may not blog about on a regular basis :) I'm in a very Halloweeny mood now, throughout writing this post I've had my Halloween spotify playlist on in the background. You can check out which songs I have on it in my Halloween playlist post from Blogtober 2016.

So finally, I'm tagging... Estelle, Natalee, Eleanor & Stacey to do the Halloween Tag! Although I know it's short notice and not long until Halloween, so don't worry if you can't do it in time :) I also tag anyone else who likes this tag and wants to answer it for themselves. Please tag me if you do, as I'd love to read your post!

Thankyou for reading!

Happy Halloween! | Blogtober

Happy Halloween Everyone! I'm lovin' life today! I dressed up even though I had no where interesting to go, rockin' my new pumpkin print dress and my custom vampire fangs. I've had my Halloween playlist going all day and have caught up with American Horror Story. I've carved my Jack-O-Lantern and I have my night of spooky movies planned. First up, The Devils Rejects, my favourite horror movie. I'd love to hear all about how you've spent Halloween. So, this is the last of my Blogtober Challenge posts and I've really enjoyed writing them all. It has been pretty hard to keep up with blogging everyday, especially since I've been ill with flu-like symptoms basically throughout the entirety of October, so I'm feeing a little proud of myself. Well done to all of my fellow bloggers who've been posting for Blogtober too!

Happy Halloween

Since I haven't really done much to blog about today, I thought I'd just share some photographs of my pumpkin carving process because I know that not everyone carves pumpkins or knows how to create a Jack-O-Lantern and so I wanted explain how to do it :)

Pumpkin Carving

Pumpkin Carving

I'm so glad that my mum managed to find me a pumpkin last minute today! With all the preparations for my friend's Halloween party at the weekend, I completely forgot to get one. She avoided the supermarkets because they have usually sold out on the day, and went to my hometown's little market to the fruit & veg stall. My pumpkin was only 60p! To carve your pumpkin you will need a good knife and something to scoop out all of the inside of the vegetable. Unless you're like me and love getting stuck in and messy! I use my hands :) You can pick up these cute little pumpkin carving kits in October that include a carving knife that's safe for kids and clumsy people like me, a scoop and a little tool to help you draw on whatever design you want onto your pumpkin. Tip: put a bag down on the surface you'll be preparing your Jack-O-Lantern on because of all the mess.

First you want to 'draw' your design onto the pumpkin, by draw I mean etch/engrave your design so that you have an outline to work with. I always go for a spoopy Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas, because it just looks adorable and it's a nice simple design. You also need to draw a circle around the top of your pumpkin to cut out your lid. I forgot to get a photograph of this stage, oops. Start by cutting this circle out of the top of your pumpkin, and then you can pull the contents out of your pumpkin, all of the seeds and orange stringy mush. It's really fun!

Pumpkin Carving
Pumpkin Carving

As you can see above, I also decided to cut out the eyes of my design, too. I did this so I could use them to hold onto the pumpkin. After you've emptied your pumpkin, making sure you get the inside of your Jack-O-Lantern as smooth as you can so that there's no hangy bits that can get burnt when you put candles inside later. You'll need to neaten the underside of the lid you cut out earlier, cutting off any of the stingy flesh of the pumpkin. Do this careful because if you change the shape of the lid, it wont fit back on top of your pumpkin.

Now it's time to carve your design into the pumpkin. Just cut around your outline like you did with the lid. When you are done, you have yourself a Jack-O-Lantern! Just add candles and its ready to display.

Pumpkin Carving

How cute is my pumpkin!? He's now in our living room window :) Did you carve a pumpkin this year? What design did you do? I'm the only one in my house who makes a Jack-O-Lantern every year, haha. I'd decorate the whole house too if they'd let me!

I thought I'd share a few more photographs of my day, of my Halloween outfit and some photographs I took on my walk to the shop to get myself some snacks ready to watch movies. Our local pub is really enthusiastic about Halloween and have such fabulous decorations every year. I snapped a few photographs when I was walking by. This year's theme was a horror carnival, with scary clowns too of course!

I hope you've all enjoyed my Halloween ramblings! I hope you've all had a wonderful Halloween weekend & day. Also, Blessed Samhain to my fellow pagans! I hope you've liked my Blogtober posts as much as I have sharing them with you all. I wanted to finish Blogtober Day 31 with a roundtop of my favourite posts of the month. Enjoy!

Thanks for reading!

Custom Vampire Fangs by Scarecrow Review | Blogtober

Happy Halloween's Eve everyone! I hope you've all had an awesome weekend, filled with spooky fun :) Last night, I went to my friend's Halloween party, and had a fabulous time, which included getting very drunk, seeing some of my lovely friends that I haven't seen since college, meeting lots of new people and squealing with excitement when the nightclub we were in played Time Warp from The Rocky Horror Picture Show! I decided that this year I wanted to dress up as a vampire, and had a little research around online for some decently priced, realistic- looking fangs. There were lots of great reviews for custom vampire fangs by a brand called Scarecrow on Amazon, and after watching a few youtube videos featuring some of their products, I decided to try them out for myself. I thought for Blogtober Day 30, I'd tell you all what I thought of the fangs I bought. Enjoy!

Custom Vampire Fangs by Scarecrow

Scarecrow sell a few different styles and sizes of fangs, and since I have pretty small teeth I decided to get the 'Small Sexy Deluxe Vampire Fangs'. I paid between £10-£12 for them, I can't remember exactly, from Amazon (here's a link). I was super excited to try them out! Gone are the days when we had to put up with some dreadful cheap plastic fangs that made you drool and not be able to pronounce words whilst you were wearing them! These awesome little fangs come as two individual teeth that you then follow the instructions to mold them so that they are customised for your own teeth. How cute is the packaging though!? How your fangs come in a miniature coffin container :)

Inside the coffin case, you will find your two vampire fangs on a pretty crimson presentation cushion and underneath this are all of the things you'll need to customise them. It's super easy to do! For each tooth, you need to use one capsule of the powder you can see above, using the tiny black container to make up a mixture of molding material.

Once you have emptied one capsule of powder into the container, you add four drops of the liquid provided. Just a heads up, this stuff smells horrible! Using the wooden stick, you mix the liquid and powder together for 30 seconds until you have a gloopy paste that's similar to toothpaste. You then follow the instrutions in the manual/booklet that comes with the fangs, and once you've customised one tooth, you can make up more adhensive paste for the next tooth. I was really impressed with how quick and simple the whole process was to get two fangs that are molded to fit your teeth.

Custom Vampire Fangs by Scarecrow
I have been fascinated with vampires for as long as I can remember. I have memories of playing make-believe games with my friends at nine or ten years old were we would pretend to be vampires. Bram Stoker's Dracula was the first horror movie that I watched and I have adored the whole folklore surrounding these awesome creatures of the night ever since. It was seriously so awesome to wear these fangs! I literally couldn't stop checking myself out, haha! They look so realistic and neat, and I would seriously recommend this brand for anyone who is looking for some vampire fangs to complete their Halloween costumes, or for the cool kids like me who just want to rock a pair of fangs. What do you think of my fangs?

Things I liked about Scarecrow's Small Sexy Deluxe Vampire Fangs

• I loved that they looked so neat and presentable.
They were a great size and fit comfortably into my mouth, without making it uncomfortable to close my mouth or anything like that.
• Some of the molding material seaps out of the sides of the fang and fills in any gaps around your actual tooth, it tells you to leave this so that the fangs are more fitted and I think it makes them look better, and even more realistic.
• They are cute as hell, and definitely made me feel sexy :)
• Once you have molded the fangs to your teeth, you don't need to repeat the process again. They are then fully reusable and they just click in and out of your mouth really easily.
• I thought that I would struggle to speak with them in, but after around half an hour, I could speak perfectly again.

Some cons about Scarecrow's Small Sexy Deluxe Vampire Fangs

• You're not supposed to wear them whilst you drink or eat, as you can damage them and/or stain them. I wanted mine for a Halloween party/night out so I had to risk it, and they did get stained which is a shame. However, they were inexpensive so I didn't mind too much, and I was warned.
• I think that drinking also affected the molding material too, as the fangs fit snug onto my teeth earlier in the night without moving, but after a few hours of drinking, one of them kept falling off. Although this is my fault again, for wearing them whilst drinking. I was considering using some fixodent denture adhensive to make sure that they stayed in place, so I could always do that next time.
• As I mentioned above, some of the molding material squeezes out of the sides of the fang when you are customising them and the instructions tell you to leave this to make sure they fit well, and to only cut off any molding material that is visible on top of your tooth/near your gums with a nail clipper. As this molding material dries hard, it's quite rough and I found that some of the parts in between my teeth that the instructions told me to leave there rubbed against the back of my lip and have given me a blister/sore. I might use a nail file to take away any roughness before wearing them again.

Custom Vampire Fangs by Scarecrow

I really love my custom fangs and it's definitely made me interested in trying out the other styles that the company have available. For a little over £10, these fangs are a fabulous quality, so simple to customise and surprisingly comfortable to wear. I got lots of compliments on them. Happy Halloween for tomorrow guys!

Thankyou for reading!

Halloween Dress | Blogtober

This year, I really wanted to get myself a spooky themed dress to rock on Halloween day! Luckily, when my mum was out shopping last week, she spotted the perfect dress and for today's blogtober, I just wanted to show you all just how awesome this spoopy Halloween print dress is! Enjoy!

Halloween Print Dress

Look how fabulous & adorable this Jack-O-Lantern print is! I love all of the little white bats too. The pumpkins remind me of Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King, from The Nightmare Before Christmas. I'm so happy with this dress!

This fantastic Halloween print dress is from Store 21. It's £16 and there were two prints available, this one and a grey spider web design. They are both long-sleeved, which I really like and are made from a stretchy material. You can get them up to size 22 too, which is great! The only downside is that the material is a little fitted, and I prefer flowing, loose dresses. However, the adorable print really makes up for this.

I'm lovin' the Halloween snapchat filters right now, especially the spooky flower crown one. Which is your favourite? This dress is perfect for a Halloween party, or you could wear it as your costume and try to create a pumpkin look with your make-up. I'm going to wear it on Halloween day whilst I'm wearing horror movies and eating lots of Halloween treats :)

Thankyou for reading!
