Pusheen Christmas Surprise Plushies | Blogmas #24

Happy Christmas Eve guys! I cannot believe just how quickly Christmas has come around this year, and now here we are... it's only one more sleep until the big day! Today I've finally felt really Christmassy and have been in such an excitable mood all day! I've been singing Christmas songs to myself throughout the day too, including now as I type up this post! It's impossible to stop, haha! After unboxing my first ever Pusheen blind boxes by Gund as part of my Spoopy Unboxing Fridays series in October (find my post here), I have been so looking forward getting myself some of the Christmas ones! It's been a real struggle to hold off opening them until today, but it was a lovely way to add some more Christmas spirit into my day so I'm glad that I did! I hope you all enjoy reading my post & that you're having a lovely evening with your loved ones

Pusheen Christmas Surprise Plushies

I sourced my Pusheen mini plush blind boxes from the same sellers as last time I bought them, because they sell them a little cheaper than I can find elsewhere, they are a UK based website and they always deliver my order to me super fast! The store is called Three Little Bears, and it sells a variety of super cute Gund and Disney products :) I bought three this time around, at £6.95 per box, and there's not one plush available that I didn't love! I was very impressed with the quality and just how soft my previous Pusheen mini plush were. I also thought that the unique design of each plush was awesome, and so I was very excited to find out what I would find inside my Christmas Series 5 versions!

Pusheen Christmas Surprise Plushies

There are eight plushies that you could get inside your box, with one of those being a mystery one (as in it doesn't show you it on the box with all of the others) that is harder to find! I love that these blind boxes include a Stormy kitty plush too, because it's another adorable cat by the creators of Pusheen :) She's actually Pusheen the cat's sister. How cute! I wanted to mention that I absolutely love the design of the packaging for the Pusheen boxes, specifically this one. I really like the combination of the light and dark pink with the minty blue colour. I also love the little 'designed with love' touch that Gund add to their Pusheen surprise boxes. Anyhow, without further ado, here are the plushies I received...

Omgosh how flippin' cute is the first plush I got!? It's a little reindeer Pusheen, and I just think that her antlers are so precious! I'm lovin' her red 'coat' (I never remember what those things are called) with the white pom-pom. I really like how they've stayed true to Pusheen's original design and just added a couple of festive features. I am a fan of simplistic yet adorable designs, because I think that they look really pretty and not too 'in your face'! I don't know what else to say about this plush other than I love it so much!

This is the Pusheen that I found inside the second box that I opened, and it's always such a relief to discover that you haven't gotten a duplicate! Unrelated but can I just say how cute my mini Christmas erasers are from The Works? I love them and I think they make great additions to my photographs. They even came inside a tiny Christmas tree shaped container! So let's get back on track... look how cute this little festive Pusheen is guys! I am in love with her miniature Santa hat, and love that it's made from a felty material, just like the 'coat' on the reindeer Pusheen. I like that they've used a different material to the main body of the plush. She's holding a bell, which I think is very cute. However, I wish that the bell was maybe a little smaller and more stuffed, because I think it looks kind of too flat. That's probably just something that bothers me though, and it's not a big deal at all because I'm still very happy with the plush :)

Pusheen Christmas Surprise Plushies

The third and final tiny Pusheen plush that I received in my surprise boxes was this super sweet angel cat! I have to admit that I was a little disappointed that I didn't get Stormy, because I really really wanted her, and also snowman Pusheen! But nevermind, angel Pusheen is lovely :) I'm totally going to use her next year to top my Christmas tree! Again, the simplistic detailing to the original Pusheen look is something that I think is great. Another thing I love about all Pusheen plushies, whether in mini blind box form or one of the larger soft toys, is that they have whiskers like these! Usually, you find that a lot of cat plushies have their whiskers made from a thin clear plastic to achieve a look as close to real feline whiskers as they can, or they draw/stitch on the whiskers. These are unique to the Pusheen products and I like that!

Pusheen Christmas Surprise Plushies

I am really happy with all of the plushies that I got today, and was seriously surprised that I didn't receive any duplicates because I usually always do whenever I get vinyl figure blind boxes! How adorable do all of these little Pusheen's look lined up next to one another though!? Something that I almost forgot to mention about the Christmas surprise plush is that instead of a keyring, they come with a tag thing so that you can use them as tree decorations! I've already popped them onto our Christmas tree, and they look marvelous! The tag itself is very sturdy and made from a pretty silver thread that is thick and a really good quality. They will fit in with any decoration colour theme as well, in my opinion.

I think that my favourite of the bunch is the reindeer Pusheen. She just really stands out against the others, and how can I not adore a cat wearing reindeer horns!? I love animals dressed up as others animals! Which one is your favourite?

I really like the little tongue expression on this reindeer plush & also on the angel plush! Super cute ^.^. I think that I'm going to have to make it a tradition every year now to open a festive-themed blind box on Christmas Eve. It's so fun! I can't wait to see if Gund bring out a 6th series of Christmas Pusheen Surprise boxes soon. I hope that you've all enjoyed reading about the latest additions of my plush collection! Have a wonderful Christmas Day tomorrow guys :)

Thankyou for reading!

Autumn Pusheen Box 2017 | Review

Happy Monday Everyone! Sorry about my inactivity over the last few days! I've been super busy, and because of that I've been exhausted. I've pretty much spent my evenings binge watching shows on Netflix and wishing that I had some decent pain medication to help with my fibromyalgia. I had a lovely day out on Thursday but unfortunately days out always make me so tired and achy, no matter how much fun they are >.< It was indeed a very fun day though! My best friend & I hung out with one of our friends that we've not seen for absolutely ages, and we all went to the cinema & for a meal. We saw Thor: Ragnarok (which was so awesome and hilarious) and headed to Frankie & Benny's to eat afterwards. I got my usual steak meal main course and cinnamon waffle dessert because, well I'm a creature of habit. On Friday, I went out again, to Currys/PC World in search of a new laptop... didn't find any I liked... there's too many choices and I'm crap at making on the spot decisions. I really need to get one soon! I also went to The Range to stock up on Christmas bits & pieces and have a good nosey around, since I haven't been to the store for years now! Spent over the budget I'd set for myself, oops. I spent the majority of the weekend in Preston, where I went on a night out (and had a great night!) to my favourite alternative nightclub and slept off my hangover for pretty much the entirety of Sunday. Anyway on with today's post, haha!

As I promised over on Instagram on Wednesday, I'm going to be showing you what I received inside my Autumn Pusheen subscription box today *it's going to be pic heavy*. I am so so freakin' delighted that I've been able to re-subscribe to this AMAZING quarterly (each season) box. It's pricey but really worth the money because you get such high quality and often exclusive items! They are all really useful items too. So without further ado, here's what I got...

Autumn 2017 Pusheen Box

Autumn 2017 Pusheen Box

In this edition of the Pusheen Box, you get nine gorgeous items, most of which have a specific autumanl theme. Over on the official Pusheen Box instagram and also via email updates, you are always shown a few sneak-peeks of what's going to be inside the box, so I already knew that I would be getting another jumper/sweater and also the first ever plushie to be added into their subscription boxes. I was sooooo excited about these two items, because I absolutely adore the jumper that I was sent in last year's Autumn Pusheen Box! (you can have a nosey at that here). Let's take a closer look at the gorgeous fall print on this jumper...

Autumn 2017 Pusheen Box

Autumn 2017 Pusheen Box

I was so over the moon with this jumper! On the spoiler photos I'd seen, it actually looked like the jumper was white which I wasn't too happy about because I don't really like white outfits and also because it would get dirty so quickly and stain easily, etc. When it arrives though, I discovered that it was actually a pale brownish colour, I don't even know how to explain the colour but it's not white and so I am happy! I love that this box actually caters for plus sized customers when it comes to clothes, because it's been so sad in the past when I've received lovely tees in other subscriptions boxes that didn't actually fit me. My last jumper by Pusheen was baggy and awesome and it's so comfy on. I can't wait to try this one. The print is just so super cute, I absolutely adore all of the little mushrooms/toadstools, acorns and leaves! I love that pusheen is holding them too, and that the print has a lot of variety VS my last jumper which was covered in identical cats. What do you all think of this jumper?

Autumn 2017 Pusheen Box

Autumn 2017 Pusheen Box

I absolutely love stationery so I am very happy to add these pretty Pusheen products to my collection. I use A LOT of list pads because I write to-do-list every day, several times a day! I find that they help to relieve my anxiety and they help motivate me (most of the time, haha). I love the design at the top of this list pad featuring Pusheen and Stormy wrapped up all warm and cosy in matching scarves, surrounded by lovely autumn nature details. I like how much space you get on each sheet for writing your lists :) I love my new pen too! The colour is gorgeous, and of course the Pusheen topper is so so cute! It says that it's a topper but you can't actually remove it which is a shame. When I've finished with the pen, I would have liked to re-use the topper on another one but nevermind, I will find a way to get it off the pen and display it as a mini figure somewhere in my bedroom.

Autumn 2017 Pusheen Box

How awesome is this Pusheen Pancake Pan!? (so many P's in one sentence, haha!) What an awesome item to include in the box, I am definitely impressed. My sister is also very jealous of this because she loves pancakes and I mean, who doesn't want a Pusheen one? I love that this pan is super useful and can be used all year round. I like that they've made the handle a pale shade of pink too. It looks lovely! I will be sure to show you all the first pancake I make with it :)

Autumn 2017 Pusheen Box

As someone who is a little too obsessed with plushies, you can imagine how excited I was when we were all told about this edition to the box! It's the first plushie that they've added and I very much hope that it's not the last. I have wanted a Pusheen teddy for so so long now and I can't believe I finally have one, and it's such an adorable one too! I love that Pusheen is holding an acorn because it's one of my favourite symbols of autumn. I love her delighted expression too. It's an amazing product and there's not much more I can say about it other than it's really soft and I adore it! She will be getting pride of place in my new plushie display (coming soon- when I get my new bedroom all finished!).

Autumn 2017 Pusheen Box

This is one of the items included in the box that isn't autumnal themed but it's gorgeous and I'm glad to receive it nonetheless. The main theme of my new bedroom will be white and blue/turquoise with an array of pastel colours too because I could never settle on just one colour... but the main theme will hopefully be blue, so this cushion cover is perfect! I wouldn't choose to buy a cushion with these pom-poms on it, however this is a Pusheen cushion so that makes all the difference. The pom-poms are fabulous quality too and very soft. I love that Pusheen is winking and I love the simplistic design of the cushion itself. It's a great item! I'd love to hear all your opinions on this item in the comments.

Autumn 2017 Pusheen Box

I would have taken this wonderful shower curtain out of the box to show you all, but there's no way that I would be able to fold it up well enough to get it back into the box. I suck at getting things like this back into their packaging, oops. However the picture of the front of the box shows the print that is in giant-form on the curtain itself. Even though this item is lovely and I'm happy to receive it, we don't have rail or anything in our bathroom at home for me to put this up so it's not going to get used for a long, long time until I have moved into my own place in the future. It's an autumnal design but I would be happy to use it throughout the year since I love the season! It's my favourite :) I think that the shower curtain and the next item that I'm going to show you are pretty random items for the box but they are very nice surprises either way.

Autumn 2017 Pusheen Box

Here's the next bathtime themed item that was packed into the Autumn Pusheen Box. I really really love this super sweet bath mat. It's so pretty, especially with it being a pastel pink colour with a white trim. My heart almost melts from cuteness overload everytime I look at it, and I couldn't ever bring myself to use this in a bathroom because I wouldn't want it to get ruined. I have considered using it as a small rug in my bedroom, but I'm unsure yet as again, I wouldn't want it to get spoilt. I will definitely find some way to using it because it's too nice not to be shown off. I am impressed with how great the material feets and by how well-crafted it is. Another brilliant item! I am yet to be disappointed with any item in this subscription box and that is why I recommend it despite the price!

Autumn 2017 Pusheen Box

Autumn 2017 Pusheen Box

So, we've come to the final item in this edition of the Pusheen Box, the vinyl figure! Every box contains one of these fantastic figures that's designed after the theme to the box. Meaning our little Pusheen had to have a little yellow leaf, an acorn or a mushroom/toadstool... and I am mega happy that it's the mushroom!! I have forever had a thing for mushrooms! I have mushroom necklaces, prints, stickers, erasers and even four different coloured kawaii mushroom bean-bag plushies because I apparently can't get enough of mushroom merch. I have no idea why, but maybe my love for the Mario character Toad as a child has imprinted on me, and also my fascination with fairy rings (if you haven't heard of these, have a google. They are awesome!). I love this little vinyl Pusheen holding a cute mini toadstool, and it's actually the best vinyl, in my opinion, out of all the Pusheen boxes I've purchased so far. I'm a big fan of it's simplistic design too.

I almost forgot to mention how fantastic the design for Autumn's box was! Just look how colourful and bright those leaves covering the top of the box are! I think they just look fabulous, like wow! The Pusheen Box always has the cutest design, with four paw prints on the underside, a face on the front and a tail on the back, but this one also had a toadstool on one of the sides which was a lovely touch. The packaging is beautiful which just gives you an idea of how good the items inside are gonna be! They also wrap it in plastic for all of your postage labels to go on, meaning your box doesn't get ruined :)

I hope that I've all enjoyed reading about the Autumn Pusheen Box, as much as I've enjoyed showing you all. I am in love with all the amazing items that I've been sent! You can subscribe for yourself over on the Pusheen Box website, and it costs around £45-£50 (I can't remember exactly off the top of my head). But that's for a big box like the one I've written about today every 3 months so I don't think that's bad at all, especially because you know that all of the items are going to be of the best quality and are all actually going to be something you can use. Just a heads up though that you will get taxed by the Royal Mail because the contents of the box is over £15, so that's where it gets even more costly. I hate this tax! I order a lot of stuff from America being a blind box figure collector so I am well used to this annoying addition cost to get the products I love :(

I am a lover of Pusheen, because it's just the cutest little cat and I think this box is so so worth the subscription (and overpriced tax, ugh). Are you a fan of Pusheen?

Thankyou for reading!

Spoopy Unboxing Fridays #3

Hey lovelies! Are you all excited for another Spoopy Unboxing Fridays post? Because I am! I've really enjoyed reviewing all of these spooky blind boxes that are just perfect for Halloween-time! Should I do a Christmas version? *my bank account tuts with disapproval* haha! Whilst this post goes live, I'll be in Manchester city again! This time, my best friend & I are going to watch a musical, Joseph & The Technicolour Dreamcoat! Of course, I'll be taking advantage of the Arndale centre with it's Disney store, Lush, Waterstones and a whole array of other fabulous shops that my hometown doesn't have. I'll also be heading to Build-A-Bear because OMFG NEW VULPIX PLUSHIE! Okay before my excitement gets me going too off-topic... let's get on with today's post :) I hope that you've all been liking this mini series, and please let me know what you think of the collectables that I review today in the comments. Enjoy!

Spoopy Unboxing Fridays The Third

The Nightmare Before Christmas is one of my favourite movies to watch around this time of year. Even though it's technically a Christmas movie (or is it? What do you think?), it will always be one of my favourite Halloweeny movies! Whilst spending hours watching unboxing videos on Youtube as always, I came across this awesome The Nightmare Before Christmas collection and was delighted that they were part of the Mystery Minis range by Funko, as their blind box figures are fantastic in my opinion! The boxes that I purchased for today's review are from Series 2 and I found them for sale at one of my favourite alternative stores, EMP. Here's a link to the product page on their website; they were £6.99 a box which is a pretty standard price for Funko Mystery Minis. So here are the figures that my boxes revealed...

The Nightmare Before Christmas Funko Mystery Minis

The Nightmare Before Christmas Funko Mystery Minis

''I am the Clown with the tear-away face! Here in a flash and gone without a trace!''

I'm sorry, I cannot look at this figure without instantly bursting into song. I was constantly singing along to the iconic 'This is Halloween' song from the intro of the The Nightmare Before Christmas movie whilst I was taking the photographs of my figures and when I was writing up this post! I now can't get it out of my head either, although I'm not complaining... I love it!

Anyhow, I was so so happy when I opened my first blind box and was greeted by this creepy yet adorable clown figure. He was one of the characters that I most wanted to get, yayyy! Firstly, I love how colourful he is! His entire costume is great, with an awesome eye-catching array of patterns. I really like his belt that is filled with all of his jokester supplies: a horn, a rubber chicken, a yoyo?, etc. All of these props remind me of vintage clowns, and immediately make me think of Twisty the Clown from American Horror Story: Freak Show. I think this little guy definitely has a spooky smile to match Twisty's; it just has such a sinister sharp-toothed grin! I love how his facial features are printed on VS being painted on. This way there's less chance of errors and it just looks great.

Something that makes this clown even more fantastic is that he's backwards! His face/head is twisted all the way around so that the front of his body is actually at the back of the figure. I love this little touch to his character! His big red nose is very noticeable and it certainly adds to the overall look of the face, which I love! Yeah, I'm thrilled with this figure :)

The Nightmare Before Christmas Funko Mystery Minis

The Nightmare Before Christmas Funko Mystery Minis

Fellow TNBC fans, do you all recognise this guy? It took me a while to picture him in the movie, but then I realised that he's the one who's pulling Jack as the Pumpkin King scarecrow into the town centre during the intro song! At least I'm pretty sure he is. I did not know until I was writing up my notes for today's post that this characters name is Behemoth. According to google, a Behemoth is 'a huge or monstrous creature', which I also didn't know! I wouldn't say this character looks very monstrous so he doesn't live up to his name, but he still looks pretty ghoulish and so he's a great addition to the movie 'cast'!

As much as I love this set of TNBC Mystery Minis because they have included some of the more obscure, less well-known characters from the movie, Behemoth is not one of figures that I wanted. I think his design is pretty boring! It certainly doesn't stand out in any way in my opinion. Other than the bright sunshine-yellow of his gloves, he doesn't have much detail and is not eye-catching. Although, the more I look at his expression, the cuter it appears! It looks to me like he's in awe of something. Like someone who's in a daze staring at their crush, hahaha! Nevermind, he's still a spoopy dude and will look cool on the Halloween display I'm setting up in my bedroom right now :) I can't deny that the axe stuck in his head isn't brilliant though! What do you think of him?

The Nightmare Before Christmas Funko Mystery Minis

Everytime I line up figures next to one another, they always look better to me! Maybe it's because of all the different colours and shapes and such, but this is why I am never content with just owning one figure from a collection. Which character do you prefer: Behemoth or Creepy Clown? Looking at these two figures standing side-by-side made me think up a meme, me when I see someone I know in public VS other people! Anyway overall I really like these figures, and they are much bigger than other Mystery Mini figures I've collected before which is cool.

I actually ordered three boxes, however my third figure had some damage to it that I couldn't ignore. I usually don't mind small errors on figures, especially if they are hand-painted or whatever, but I got Santa aka Sandy Claws and he has a very noticeable mark on top of his hat. I have emailed the store to request a replacement so hopefully I get one! Sandy Claws was huge in comparison to these guys, more weighter too. If you were buying these in a store, you'd be able to tell which box he was in just because of how much heavier it feels. I wish I had a store near me where I could buy blind boxes! I'd be their No.1 customer!

The Nightmare Before Christmas Funko Mystery Minis

Here's a closer look of all twelve characters that are available to collect in this series. The one I wanted most of all was the blue monster.... ''I am the one hiding under your stairs! Fingers like snakes and spiders in my hair!'' (I can't stop!!). I also really wanted the waving clown (which I got!), Jack as the Pumpkin King and the vampire. I also wouldn't have complained if I'd have gotten any three of the children, Lock, Shock or Barrel. Who's your favourite character from the ones shown above? I like how all of the figures have a 1 in 12 rarity so you have a fair chance of getting the ones you want!

I liked how simplistic the design of the packaging was for these figures with just a few of the characters on the other three sides of the box, and a very nice horror-esque crimson red colour. I'd definitely recommend these figures to anyone who loves collectables or Halloween or the movie! I'm very tempted to get another box, even though I don't have any desire to complete the entire collection, but I shouldn't because I always end up wanting more and more. So, we've come to the end of another Spoopy Unboxing Fridays. I wish I had more than two figures to show you, but I still hope you enjoyed reading nonetheless. Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Thankyou for reading!

Do you like The Nightmare Before Christmas movie?
If so, what's your favourite song?

If you haven't yet seen it then this Halloween is the perfect time to!

Spoopy Unboxing Fridays #2

Happy Friday 13th! I'm going to spend my night watching the 2009 adaptation of Friday 13th & another horror movie, although I haven't decided which one yet! I think it's so awesome that Friday has fallen on the 13th day in October, the month dedicated to all things spooky! It's just perfect, and it's even more fantastic that it's Spoopy Unboxing Friday here on my blog!! That is because today I have some horror themed blind boxes to reveal to you all. I've been really excited about these Funko Mystery Minis for a long time, and I'm over the moon that I finally have some of the amazing figures for myself :) I can't wait to show off these little spooky guys! If you didn't catch my last October unboxing, you can read it here. Enjoy!

Spoopy Unboxing Fridays

If you've been following my blog for a while, you may know that I absolutely adore everything horror related, anything macabre and gothic. I wouldn't really label myself because I'm an eclectic sort of girl, but I have been more on the alternative side since I was in my early teens. Horror movies are my favourite, mostly the psychological kinds but I also enjoy a good slasher movie. I love gore! I love creepy things, too! So you can imagine my delight when it came to my attention that Funko had released Horror Classics versions of their Mystery Mini figures.

I have watched so many unboxing videos and reviews of them on youtube, and I am very stressed that I can't seem to get ahold of Series 1 (which has all the best characters in my opinion) in the UK or even on eBay without having to pay a ridiculous price for just one blind box! However, since Series 3 is the most recent of the Horror Classics collection, I managed to find them for a decent price and in the UK too. Yayyy! I bought them from online store A1 Toys, for £5.99 per box. So, I won't keep you waiting any longer! Here are the figures that I found inside my Funko Mystery Mini Horror Classics S3 blind boxes... there's going to be A LOT of photos in this post!!

Funko Mystery Mini Horror Classics

Funko Mystery Mini Horror Classics

The first Horror Classics blind box that I opened revealed Regan from The Exorcist (1973), who is a famously iconic horror character. The Exorcist was one of the first horror movies I watched, and it was definitely an awesome movie for the time. It's also pretty spooky when you read into all the strange goings on that surrounded the movie set, as well as involving the cast and crew! I'm glad that the Regan figure is smaller than the others in the set, as it would have been a little annoying to have a character who's a 12 year old child the same size as the rest. I really like the contrast of her pale blue innocent-looking nightie to the rest of the figure, to her demonic stratched up face.

I love the look of her face: those cuts, the vomit and the angry 'GRR!' expression of her mouth! The figure has a nice zombified green tint to it which is great, but my favourite feature of Regan is the vomit running down her front because it instantly makes me picture the possession scenes in the movie! It's also pretty cool that they've added a few little cuts to her hands. I love Funkos attention to detail on all of their figures in general! There's a bit of a messy paint job on the hair around her face, and usually this would be a shame but in this case, because of her character, it kind of adds to the 'dirty' look, so sort of adds to the character's overall look. Do you agree?

YASSSS! I GOT THE BEETLEJUICE CHARACTER!! Tim Burton's Beetlejuice (1988) is one of my top five movies to watch around Halloweentime (all year around too of course!); it's just a fabulous ghosty comedy movie, with awesome characters. Lydia Deetz, played by Winona Ryder, was one of my icons growing up. I would always hope to look/dress like her some day, haha! Anyhow, how cool does this figure of Adam look!? I love love love the bloody eyeball hands! It's such a eye-catching, weird figure and I really hope that Funko creates some more Beetlejuice characters in future series! I really like how mundane the characters outfit is, and then to have such a unique head/face... it just looks epic!

If you haven't seen Beetlejuice yet, you seriously need to! I have no complaints about this figure, it was one of the figures that I really wanted to get! I also got a duplicate of this guy in another box I bought, but getting repeats is the nature of blind boxes so I don't mind really.

Okay so how amazing is it that I got Jason Voorhees on Friday 13th!!!? Like wow! If you didn't know, this character is the protagonist in the horror movie franchise, Friday 13th. So basically today is his day and that's why I'll be watching one of the movies later. Is it normal that I would describe this figure as beautiful? Because I think it is!! I'm very impressed with his design, with all of his detailing and features. His tattered and torn outfit looks great, even more so that it shows off the skeletal structures underneath. It's also awesome that they included this on the back of the figure! Additionally, I love that his mask is broken to reveal some of his skeleton face! His hands look cute too, they remind me of the emo-style gloves I used to wear as a teenager, haha!

My favourite parts of this figure though are Jason's bloody axe and his iconic hockey mask! I love how pristine it looks, it's very eye-catching especially in comparison to the dark-colour of the rest of his body. It would have been awesome to see some blood-splattering on it but I do really like it how it is! Even though Jason wasn't one of the characters in Series 3 that I most wanted to get, his design is so fantastic that he's now one of my favourites of the lot! I'm delighted that I got the star of the show on today of all days!

I got Wolfman and he is so adorable! He's one of the easiest figures to get in this set; Wolfman, Elvira and Bruce the shark from Jaws all have a 1/6 chance of being inside your blindbox. I actually ended up getting three of him altogether, and I was not impressed! This character is based on the 1941 Universal Pictures movie The Wolf Man, which I admit I haven't watched. I've not watched many of the classic Universal Pictures horror movies, or many werewolf movies either. I'm happy to receive the Wolfman though because I want to complete this Horror Classics Mystery Mini set (my bank account is not so happy!). I like his claws, they stand out, however the paintjob on them looks pretty bad! Something I do like though is the texture and design of the Wolfman's hair. It certainly looks cool! Have any of you ever seen any of the old Universal Pictures horrors? Which ones would you recommend?

(I couldn't resist, sorry not sorry). The Shining is one of my top ten horror movies, it's fantastic and actor Jack Nicholson does an absolutely amazing job of the leading role. He plays Jack Torrance, which is who this figure is of and it looks so much like him :) The Grady Twins from the same movie are available in Series 3 and I really really wanted to get them, but I was very glad to get Jack. I actually squealed upon opening his box! I'm very impressed with the intricate detailing of his little teeth, they make his sinister smile look great! I love the way his eyebrows look... they really add to his expression! The axe is awesome, but I wish it had some little pieces of wood on it to symbolise when he axed through the door in the well-known movie scene. Wouldn't that look cool?

I love how the outfits on a lot of these figures have a very simplistic design, with most of them having solid colouring or a basic patterning, but Funko make sure these outfits still have awesome little details that make them look so good. For example, there's details on the both the back and front of Jack's jacket (this made me laugh) to let us know that it's padded and not just a shirt, and pockets on the back of his jeans. Overall, this figure is brilliant!

The final character that I got, other than the duplicates, was the Mummy. As far as I know he's based on the original character from the 1932 The Mummy movie, but I'm not 100%. I'm impressed with his design, how they can make such a simplistic figure with just plain bandages look so cool! I like the different grey/white shades used to highlight the various parts of the figure. I think his solemn expression makes him look really cute! I love his stance, it looks like he's almost saying 'check out my fancy ring'. He's a sassy mummy, haha! His ring is pretty damn awesome though, a lovely golden Scarab beetle. He also has gold outlining around his eyes, and this little detail looks gorgeous. I like how much he stands out next to the other figures because of his colouration, and he's just a really nice figure.

Here are all of the figures that you can collect in Series 3 of the Funko Horror Classics Mystery Minis. The ones that are on the top of my list include Freddy Krueger with the hypodermic needle hands because it's from my favourite A Nightmare on Elm Street movie... Part 3, 'Dream Warriors' from 1987. I also really REALLY want Patrick Bateman from American Psycho (2000), The Grady Twins who I mentioned earlier, Twisty the Clown from American Horror Story (Season 4) and the dad from Beetlejuice who I got! It sucks that the two figures I most want to get are the hardest to collect, with them both having a 1/72 rariety *cry cry*. Altogether I purchased ten boxes and I got the 1/6 Wolfman three times (ugh), the 1/24 Mummy and 1/24 Beetlejuice guy (I got another of these), Jason Voorhees also has a 1/24 rariety and finally, Jack from The Shining is a 1/12 figure, so I didn't do  too bad I guess other than three Wolfman's! I wish I'd have gotten at least one of the other 1/6 characters instead of three of the same, but nevermind.

Look how awesome do my figures look all lined up next to each other!! I'm so so happy that I could finally start collecting this series and I can't wait to have a shelf filled with all fourteen characters! Which is your favourite out of all the figures I received inside my blind boxes? They are beautifully designed boxes too, with a stereotypical horror-esque white tiles wall all spattered with blood, and some of the characters on the box. I love how the figures have been designed to be cute but all of the characters best features have been included and in a way that makes them awesome little horror icons but still with a cutesy appeal :) Very spoopy indeed! Which figure out of entire collection is your favourite?

I hope you all had fun reading this post and having a nosey at all of the figures I got. I'm definitely enjoying this mini blog series and I can't wait to share next weeks with you all!

Thankyou for reading!
