November 2018 Kawaii & Geeky Wishlist

Hi everyone! Here I am finally sharing a long awaited monthly wishlist!! It's only been a few months since I last posted one but it feels like forever... what is it with this year!? It's seemed to go by so fast, yet somehow still drag. Can anyone else relate? To be honest, I'll be happy when it's over and I can start 2019 afresh; I'm determined to make next year a good one, full of achieved goals and personal triumphs! Tomorrow is the first day of December, and I hope all of us have a wonderful final month of 2018 to make up for this past year, haha! Now, let's get back on a more cheerful note... who doesn't love some geeky and kawaii goodness!? It was pretty tough to put together this wishlist because in the lead up to Christmas, it's a challenge to decide what presents I'm going to buy for my loved ones, let alone what I want for myself! So the wishlist in today's post is going to be a little shorter than usual, but I hope you enjoy reading it nonetheless ♥

1. The Tales of Beedle The Bard by JK Rowling After reading the Harry Potter novels earlier this year, the Wizarding World has been pretty much consuming my life XD I spend so much time watching Harry Potter fan theory videos on YouTube and reading & writing fanfic, and my overall nerdiness for the Harry Potter universe has grown so much! I already loved the movies as a child/teenager, but I feel I appreciate them, and the stories themselves, much more as an adult, and whenever I see any books that are related to the original novels by JK Rowling, I just have a mighty need. I recently spotted a poster advertising this book when I went to the cinema to see Fantastic Beasts 2 with my best friend, and I would love to have a read! Especially of the Tale of the Three Brothers :)

2. ASDA Unicorn Ornament My sister purchased this gorgeous ornament not too long ago and I've wanted my own ever since! It's so pretty and would go perfectly with my bedroom once it's decorated. My colour theme will be colourful & pastel, and this ornament is decorated with lovely pastel stars! I can't believe it's only £5!! It's also a lot bigger than it looks on the website!

3. EMP Exclusive LOTR Elrond Funko Pop! I am currently reading the Lord of The Rings books by JRR Tolkien (I don't know why it's taken me so long to read them!) & I am so in love with the folklore and the mythical creatures/peoples, especially the elves. I have always loved elves, but these books, including The Hobbit, has made me love them even more! I now really want to add some Lord of The Rings Pop! Vinyl to my collection, starting with the new EMP Exclusive Elrond figure. It looks awesome online, and I bet it looks even better in person!

4. Pomsies Plush Toy How adorable is this plushie though!? I fell in love with them as soon as I saw them, and it's all Estelle's fault!! XD She tweeted about them and I have wanted one ever since. My favourite is 'Patches' (the one I've used a photo of) but there's four different characters available, all with a different colour/pattern. Seriously though, how could I not fall in love with Pomsies!? Those big eyes! Plus they are so unique, oh and they even light up and make adorable noises!! Fingers crossed that Santa Claus leaves one of these cuties under my tree this Christmas!

5. The Wild Thornberry's Nigel Funko Pop! I am so over the moon that Funko have finally released a collection for The Wild Thornberry's! Ever since they included some of the characters in their Nickelodeon Mystery Mini's blind boxes, I have been waiting for them to create Pop! versions, and my wish has come true! The Wild Thornberry's was one of my favourite cartoons as a kid, and I especially related to Eliza who is also a geek and an animal lover! I always dreamt of being able to talk to animals :) Nigel however was definitely on par with Eliza as my favourite characters. He was hilarious and I have always been a fan of Tim Curry! I need to add all three of the Wild Thornberry's figures to my collection!

6. Sass & Belle Little Llama Bookends Everyone who knows me well will be aware how much I love alpacas! One of the first things that started my obsession with Japanese kawaii culture was the fact that there was so much alpaca merchandise, from plushies to chibi alpaca cartoons! I was really happy when the llama craze hit the UK  because, well llama are close relatives of the alpaca, both being in the Camelidae family of mammals, and so many of the llama designs don't look anything like llamas but more like alpacas! Which means that I can just pretend it's an alpaca and give myself an excuse to buy it! Just like these fabulous bookends by Sass & Belle. I cannot picture a more perfect bookend to go on my shelves now! I love the shade of blue that they've chosen for them, it's one of my favourite colours! I also really like the simplistic design of them :) I think they are really well priced at £15 for the pair too!

7. Tofu Cute Kawaii Cat Lovers Bundle Something that is fabulous about Christmas Time is that all of my favourite online stores start selling bundles and offering other awesome bargains that are perfect for gifts, but also for treating one's self :D And I am very tempted to do just that with this awesome cat lovers bundle from Tofu Cute. It does seem a little pricey but Japanese items are generally more expensive here in the UK, and you do get 11 items in this bundle, including a plushie, stationery & yummy Japanese sweets! I think this would make a wonderful Christmas present for your loved ones who are fans of all things kawaii! There's also a dog lovers version available too :) I wish they'd made a rabbit one! (There's still time Tofu Cute!!)

8. Rick & Morty Simple Rick's Candle Are any of you guys fellow Rick & Morty fans? Do you have a favourite character? Mine are Birdperson, Tinkles the Imaginary Friend & Mr Rick Sanchez himself! Other than Funko figures, I am yet to own anything Rick & Morty related because well most of the items I've seen have been the typical mugs, bottle openers, band tees, etc., and as much as I like those, there's shows that I love more that I'm more likely to buy that type of merchandise for. Sorry Rick & Morty! However, lately I stumbled upon a couple of candles on the Merchoid website and having not seen anything like this before for the show, my attention was instantly grabbed! There's two available, but this one is my favourite because of the colour scheme and the sweet scent! It is more expensive than I would usually pay for a candle that isn't a Yankee Candle glass jar one, but I do really like that it comes in a tin! If you've been a reader of my blog for a long time, you'll know that I have a bit of thing for tins :D (does anyone else have a love for something random?). There are several other fandom related candles on the Merchoid website, if you want to go check them out. Candles always make great Christmas gifts in my opinion! In winter when the night is dark and full of terrors, I always want to light candles!

Thankyou for reading!

November Kawaii & Geeky Wishlist

Hey guys! I'm super sorry that I haven't blogged for over a week now! Ugh, as much as I adore this time of year for the nature aspects of it... the pretty rust and ruby leaves also bring with them gloomy evenings, shorter daylight hours and for me, my arch nemesis, seasonal affective disorder. It's really common for this change in the environment to make people feel more tired and make their moods low, however for a lot of spoonies, this disorder makes it really tough to get through the autumn and winter months.

My regular readers will know that I suffer from insomnia and well, with SAD thrown into the equation, I'm in such a miserable place right now. I'm waking up most days at mid-day, after not being able to fall asleep until the early hours and then by the time I've  fully woken up, had a cuppa and something to eat, taken my meds and my usual intense morning fibromyalgia pain has eased a little, it's then getting dark and dismal outside and my motivation to do anything productive has almost all but disappeared. This has made blogging such a challenge! I've had ideas for posts but have been incapable of putting together the energy to type it up. I feel a little ridiculous about it to be honest, and I hope that my lack of posts hasn't been too annoying for you guys! Last night, I managed to drift off to sleep earlier (at 3:30am ish still!) and so here I am, finally sharing something. Putting together today's post has actually cheered me up quite a bit; I mean, who isn't happy looking at cute stuff and making a wishlist!? Enjoy :)

1. Build A Bear Bulbasaur Plushie Yay! Build A Bear have finally released a Bulbasaur plushie for their Pokemon range, and I am so happy! This adorable plush is at the top of my wishlist right now and I'm seriously unimpressed that there's no Build-A-Bear workshop store closer to my hometown, or even in my hometown! I could order him online and get the online exclusive outfit, which is a super cute leaf-print hat & scarf set, but I just love the experience of shopping at the store. I will have to give in though I think and treat myself to an early Christmas present, especially since there's an offer online at the moment to save £10 when you spend £30!

2. Funko Stranger Things Mystery Minis Have you all watched the latest season of Stranger Things yet? Oh my gosh, it was so flippin' awesome! If you haven't, you neeeeed to get it watched right now! Since Stranger Things has been on my mind lately, I have a mighty need to acquire some merchandise and since I'm a big fan of blind box figures, I would love to get my hands on some of these mystery minis.

3. Funko Pop! Crash Bandicoot Figure I think I'm a little obsessed with Funko products, haha! I would really like to add this recent addition to the Pop! vinyl figure range to my collection. Crash Bandicoot was one of my favourite games growing up, and I love to own nostaglic things that remind me of happy times whenever I look at them :) I love Crash's cheeky grin on this figure too.

4. Harry Potter House Journal How gorgeous is this journal!? I was recently browsing around for some new geeky merch websites and I came across Geek Core. The first items that caught my attention were these very pretty Harry Potter house journals. They are so cool with their bold colouration and detailed flag patterned covers. Just look at those fancy house crests too! They are unfortunately pretty pricey for a notebook and I would never want to use it after paying that much; they are lovely nonetheless and I wish that I could afford to pay that for one notebook, but I thought I'd include them anyway! What's everyones Hogwart's house? Let me know in the comments :)

5. Q-Lia Bananya Sticky Notes Ever since I bought a Bananya mini plush from Tokyo Otaku Mode, I've been in love with this adorable character by Japanese company Q-Lia. How can you not adore a little cat sitting inside a banana? It's so random, haha! I love die-cut shaped sticky notes, and although there's not much space to write on these sheets... they are too cute and I just need them.

6. TokiDoki Pixie Unicorno Enamel Pin TokiDoki have some of the loveliest enamel pins and although this may sound like an excuse to justify why I want to buy one (or five!), I would love to see how good the quality and design is in person. I collect the Unicorno vinyl figures and my love for these wonderful collectibles has made me want to buy anything and everything Unicorno-related. Pixie is a gorgeous pastel coloured unicorn from the Series 3 figure collection, and until I can get the figure, this pin will do just fine :)

7. Sass & Belle Nori Cat Rug As most of you guys will know by now, I am in the process of decorating my new bedroom, well it's not a new bedroom but I no longer have to share it with my sister, and so I can make it my perfect little space which means lots of kawaii & geeky goodness everywhere! I've been searching for a small rug to go by my bed that suites my interests well, and I found this lovely cat rug from Sass & Belle. I've had my eye on several items from this shop for a while now. I'm so glad that this rug has been brought to my attention; I'll definitely be ordering it as soon as I can!

8. Eeveelution Vinyl Stickers For the last few years, after I attended my first Comic Con event where I bought my first ever vinyl stickers, I've been collecting more from different independent artists. For a long time, I didn't really know what to do with these stickers because they were too pretty to just stick on any old notebook or whatever, so they'd just sit inside a plastic wallet in my sticker drawer. Until I decided that when I looked for a new laptop, I would choose a black one and cover it with a variety of colourful vinyl stickers. Since I made this decision, I've been stocking up on more stickers in preparation. I recently discovered an artist's website called Blushsprout via tumblr, and these kawaii eeveelution stickers are my favourite things on there, although I want several other items as well! I very much like how every pokemon has a different facial expression and position, and I would love to have all nine displayed on my shiny new laptop!

Thankyou for reading!

November/December Wishlist

Happy December Everyone! I can't believe how close it is to Christmas Day, only 17 days! I am so excited, but nervous too because I still haven't gotten all of my Christmas gifts for everyone sorted! Every year, I tell myself that I'm going to be more organised with my Christmas shopping and then, it never happens, haha. Oops! You may have noticed that I didn't share my usual monthly wishlist last month, I decided to wait until now & post a joint wishlist for both November and December :) Mostly because I barely wanted anything that wasn't more suited for my Kawaii & Geeky Wishlist, so there wasn't enough items to put together a wishlist.  I hope you enjoy reading!

November-December Wishlist

1. Rebel the Unicorn Cat Pin This pin badge is so adorable and has an important message on it too, 'Inclusive Feminism Always'. I have wanted a pin badge from the etsy store RiotCakes for months now, and I would really love to add this one to my pin collection :)

2. Snowy Scene Duvet Set Last year, I planned to get some Christmassy bedding but left it too late and the ones I liked were all out of stock. I absolutely love this winter wonderland nature scene design. It's so pretty and has another design on the reverse side of the duvet which is always nice. Who else has bought some Christmas bedding?

3. 'Macaron Treats' Medium Jar Yankee Candle Yankee Candle have released four new scents for Christmas this year: All Is Bright, Festive Cocktails, Star Anise & Orange and Macaron Treats. I love sweet smelling candles and the description for Macaron Treats definitely appeals to me, 'The classic Parisian macaron- sweet as can be and lighter than air, with notes of vanilla, almond and of course, sugar'. It sounds so lovely!

4. L'Oreal Paris Super Liner Blackbuster Intense I've been wanting to try some different liquid eyeliners for a while now and I prefer the felt-tip style ones, so when one of my favourite youtubers It's Black Friday revealed that this is the eyeliner she uses, I was very curious about trying it out for myself, since her make-up always looks awesome!

5. Plant Turtle Print by Nadia Kim I just fell in love with this print as soon as I saw it. I love the super cute turtles and I really like how they are made up of leaf designs. Reptiles and Nature are two of my favourite things, so it's perfect for me. It's such a pretty print and I would just love to display it on my bedroom wall.

6. Bee Good Vanilla & Honey Lip Balm My lovely friend Estelle shared a post in October all about a Bee Good gift set she was given as a birthday present (read her post here) and ever since reading it, I have wanted to try this Vanilla & Honey lip balm. I'm a big fan of vanilla and I always suffer from dry and cracked lips in Winter so it would be great to try out this product right now :)

7. Aequicorn Seahorse Necklace by Alchemy Gothic This brand makes the most gorgeous gothic jewellery and I have been lusting over their necklaces forever! I recently came across a new alternative online store via instagram and this lovely seahorse necklace was stocked on their website. I think it's stunning and so unique, and I have a mighty need for it.

8. Lush Father Christmas Bath Bomb I seriously need to do a Lush haul and stock up on some of their amazing Christmas products. They have so many lovely bath products available, and since my favourite are the bathbombs, I have quite a few on my wishlist right now. This Father Christmas one was all over social media last Christmas and I was a little jealous that I didn't have one so I'm definitely gonna get myself one as soon as possible.

9. Lush Mistletoe Bath Bomb What attracted me to this Christmas bathbomb was the colours. It's a pretty blue and pink bathbomb and I'm sure it makes gorgeous bath art. The ingredients are a mix of jasmine, ylang ylang and vetivert, and I very much enjoy the scent of ylang ylang!

10. Lush Luxury Lush Pud Bath Bomb This is another of the bath bombs that everyone was sharing photos of on instagram last Christmas and I really want to try it! It just looks so colourful and I can imagine that it's filled with lots more colours inside. I'm not keen on the scent of lavender, but since it's also got ylang ylang oil in, I hope that I still enjoy it.

11. Pokemon Fake Plug Jewellery This item might have been better for my Kawaii & Geeky wishlist, however I really really want it and am probably going to order it very soon so I thought I could make an exception haha. I have always loved the look of ear plugs but I don't want to stretch my ear lobes, so getting a fake plug is the next best thing. This eevee plug, and also the pokeball plug which is also available on the EMP website, are awesome and they look just like real plugs!

12. Sloth Collage T-shirt I think this tee is just so cool! I love sloths so much, they are really cute and I like how there's a mixture of two-toed and three-toed sloths on it. I just need this tee in my life. Who wouldn't want this shirt!? Just look it at!

13. Fox Necklace by MissDiary on Etsy Late last month, my best friend sent me a post on facebook filled with gifts perfect for anyone who loves foxes. It included some wonderful items, and this fox necklace was my favourite of the lot! Foxes have always been one of my favourite group of animals, and I wanted to work with them before I discovered my love of reptiles. At the moment, I'm trying to build my necklace collection up and this would be a fabulous addition. I usually prefer silver to rose gold, however I think this rose gold plated necklace looks so nice. I think the simplistic design of the fox head is fantastic, too.

Thankyou for reading!

November Wishlist

(1) Plus Size Burgundy Skater Dress from New Look
(2) Jiminy Cricket Tsum Tsum from Disney
(3) Tokidoki Messanger Bag from Blue Banana
(4) Fairisle Boot Slippers from ASDA
(5) Dark Brown Buckle Strap Ankle Boots from New Look
(6) Reindeer Print Christmas Jumper from Yours Clothing
(7) Fabric Owl Decorations from Paperchase
(8) Cinders Bath Bomb from Lush Cosmetics
(9) Fleece Bunny Pyjama Set from ASDA

I have seen so many awesome products this month and have experienced a lot of heartache due to  my ever dwindling bank balance in preparation for Christmas. I love the items available this time of year with beautiful winter themed designs and A/W fashion is my favourite. I'm also really happy about all of the adorable animal themed products popping up in the shops. I could have easily made several more wishlists, so it was a challenge to pick out my favourites for this post. I hope you enjoy reading!

I absolutely love this dress! It was brought to my attention in a post by the lovely Georgina at She Might Be Loved. She looked so gorgeous in the dress & I really like the colour burgundy. I NEED this dress and I hope I can get it very soon.

How could I resist this adorable Jiminy Cricket tsum tsum!? I love his little hat & seeing him on the Disney Store website made me excited that they might make a Pinocchio collection in the future. I'm in need of a new bag to use for when I stay over at my friends houses and the Tokidoki bag on my wishlist this month is perfect in both size & design. It's about time I bought a new pair of slippers and I prefer these boot-style ones. I'm lovin' the Christmas jumper appearance of the fairisle boot slippers!

I've had black boots, grey boots & even lime green boots, but I've never had a pair of brown boots before. Brown boots go so well with the colour schemes of Autumn fashion so I'd love to get my hands on a pair... I really like the design of these ankle boots from New Look.  With Christmas fast approaching, I want to buy a new festive jumper with a cute animal print. There's currently 20% off on this jumper from Yours Clothing, which is fantastic! On the subject of Christmas, I need to start stocking up on decorations. I'm hoping to get a mini tree to put in my bedroom and I would love some of these little owl decorations to put on it.

There are so many lush bathbombs which I can't wait to try! Cinders is one of them. I'm a fan of citrus scents and I know this bathbomb contains a mixture of orange, cinnamon & almond... it sounds interesting and looks pretty. It also contains popping candy so that's an added bonus. The last item on the November wishlist are these super cute bunny PJ's. I'm definitely obsessed with rabbits.. will probably one day become the bunny equivalent of a crazy cat lady! haha so of course, I want these PJs! I really like this style of PJ bottoms, they are very much like leggings & are so comfy!

Thanks for reading
