My New Heart Shelves

Happy Friday! I am so glad to be back online! If you follow me on social media, you'll know that I've had no internet access for a week now, and it's been super stressful. I have been so bored that I've been constantly tidying for the last few days and have found lots of random things that I'd bought and forgotten I had, so thats a bonus I guess haha. I didn't realise just how realiant I am on the internet until I was without it, for what seemed like so much longer than a week. I've had so many people make comments about how young people are glued to their technology in response to me talking about how much I miss it and it's been really quite annoying. The internet can be a wonderful tool and especially with the fact that I'm a spoonie so I spend the majority of my time at home, being online allows me to connect with my friends, to educate myself on whatever I fancy reading about, to share stories and photos with people who share my interests.... The internet is fantastic and I have met so many lovely people through it that have helped me through some very hard times, so I am thankful for the internet everyday and I'm not ashamed of how much I rely on it at all.

With all of the stuff I've been going through so far this year, I'm forgotten that in January after saving up for a while I'd managed to buy myself some shelves that I'd had my eye on for a while. These gorgeous heart-shaped shelves filled with lots of little 'compartments' are just perfect! I'd come across them quite a well ago when I was searching for ideas on pinterest and elsewhere on how to display my evergrowing Disney Tsum Tsum collection. Someone had shared a photo of their own collection on these shelves and it looked fantastic! So finally a couple of days before my internet was cut off, I'd put up my new shelves on my bedroom wall and filled them with so much cuteness :) I've been so looking forward to showing you guys!

Kawaii Tsum Tsum Heart Shelves

How pretty are these shelves!? I absolutely adore all of the different sized compartments, and just think it's so cool that you can fill it with different sized items and such. These shelves are from The Range, and are available in this almost 'distressed white' colour or in a dark brown. They were priced at around £50. Anything colourful looks really pretty and eye-catching against the white background too :) Check out how my tsum tsums look displayed on my new shelves....

Can you guess how many I have now? (without counting haha)! My collection is far from complete yet; there's so many more characters I need to add. I'm so happy that I've finally been able to stack my tsum tsums as their design intended, and I love how two of the compartments are the perfect size to fit in my Easter addition tsum tsum basket :) There's two little plushies hiding at the bottom of the heart, which where the first of many other items to join my tsum tsums, as I had lots of spaces to fill in. Keep scrolling to see what else I chose to display :)

It was really quite fun (and tiring... so tiring!) to shuffle around all of my tsum tsums to find the best fit for everything else I wanted to display. I'm really glad that I now have somewhere to keep my Japanese plushies, mostly made by the company Amuse that I'm kind of obsessed with! Also, I can now show off my Funko Mystery Mini Disney Princess figures, as well as some of my Funko Pop's. I chose to put my three favourite Pop vinyls in the centre of my shelves, and I couldn't be happier with the way it all looks.

Ta-da! How awesome do my new heart shelves look all filled!?? It's so vibrant and really stands out against my pale wallpaper. I would love to get another one of these shelves to display more of my mini plushies (Yes, I have A LOT more, oops!) and also my Tokidoki Unicorno figures. Oh by the way, I have 63 Disney Tsum Tsums!! How close was your guess? Let me know how many you though I had in the comments. I hope you all have a lovely weekend :)

Thankyou for reading!

Kawaii & Geeky Wishlist #4

Hey everyone! I hope you've all had a lovely day! It's been gloomy and rainy here in Lancashire and I've had a lazy day, which I spent recovering from a tiring, painful day yesterday and a stressful trip to the doctors. I've been catching up on TV shows and eating  a little too many Cadbury chocolate-coated pretzels :) It's been quite a while now since I last posted a kawaii & geeky wishlist... I hope you enjoy it!

1. If you're a regular reader of my blog, you'll probably be aware of the fact that I love alpacas and absolutely adore alpacasso plushies. I've fallen in love with this adorable alpaca dreams dress that I found on Etsy because the design reminds me of the alpacasso goodnight collection. It's so cute and colourful; I'm really happy that the shop has it available in plus sizes!

2. I've been eyeing up the products on this awesome etsy shop for a while now. They have lots of gorgeous animal designs and I especially love the sloth and fennec fox ones. I'm in need of a new make-up case, and this fennec fox zip pouch is so cute. I haven't seen many fennec fox prints before, it's lovely!

3. Princess Mononoke is my favourite Studio Ghibli movie and so I really love this necklace. I can't wait until I can actually buy it! I'm very impressed with this handmade item, the colours are lovely and I'm a fan of wooden jewellery. I think the little bone details under the mask are wonderful!

4. How gorgeous is this plushie!? I love the Mopeez range by Funko. This cheshire cat plushie looks so soft and cuddly, and I like the overall design and colour of it. Does anyone else have any of the Mopeez plushies? Which ones?

5. I've been waiting for this tsum tsum to be sold individually in the UK for ages and it's still not here :( At last years Manchester Comic Con there was a tsum tsum stall with American imports and they had scrump tsum tsums. I really regret not paying the little extra it was for her so I'm finally giving in! I'm going to order one online, because I'd love to add her to my collection... she's too cute not to!

6. I spotted this fantastic unicorn pin on instagram earlier this week and instantly wanted one of my own. It's very pretty, especially with the rainbow mane and tail

7.  I actually found this shoulder bag on twitter only this morning! I love Neko Atsume and have recently started buying their merch haha Pepper is one of my favourite cats on the game so I couldn't resist wanting this bag as soon as I saw it. I love how it has a tail too!

8.  I featured another item with this chibi pokemon print on in my last kawaii & geeky wishlist because I think it's one of the cutest things I've ever seen. The litte pokemon are so bloody adorable, especially Eevee, Vaporeon and Mew (my favourites!) and all the mini pokeballs are so cool. They both look perfect against the lovely blue background, too.

 9. Another pokemon item has made it to my wishlist this month. Vaporeon is my most favourite pokemon and it's shocking that I still don't own a plushie of this adorable eeveelution. I need to rectify this problem asap and get myself an adorable Vaporeon! Who's your favourite pokemon?

10. In August, me and my best friend are going to the World of Wizardy event (formerly called Potter Con) which is the first Harry Potter themed event/convention to ever be hosted in the UK and I'm so excited! I'm planning on going dressed as a ravenclaw student, since that's my house, so when I stumbled across this awesome scarf on Truffle Shuffle, I thought it would make a great addition to my cosplay. Are any of my readers fellow ravenclaws? If not, let me know your house in the comments.

 Thankyou for reading!

Easter Tsum Tsums

Yay! It's Easter tomorrow :) It's been so hard to resist devouring my Easter goodies today. Bring on tomorrow! I hope everyone has a lovely day filled with lots of chocolate and Easter themed cuteness! I've been really looking forward to showing you all these adorable Easter edition tsum tsums This is going to be quite a pic heavy post!

Just look how bloody cute they are! I could not resist buying this set as soon as I spotted it on the Disney website. I absolutely love that the characters are dressed in baby animal costumes! I love all the little details of their costumes... the material, the colours. It's such a wonderful set.

The basket that the tsum tsums come in is really nice. It feels so so soft, and the colour scheme again is great. I love the green and white gingham material used for the lining of the basket and the matching bows on the handle of the basket.

No Easter themed set is complete without Easter bunnies, and this Minnie & Mickey pair is so pretty!  I love that they've included the gingham in their costume design. I don't usually like the typical blue for a boy and pink for a girl design but I think it looks nice in this case. Another thing I love on these tsum tsums are their rosy red cheeks :)

Even better, they have super cute bunny tails! I'm just really impressed with these fantastic bunny tsum tsums, but I'm also bunny obsessed so that's to be expected! haha

Another adorable baby animal needed in any Easter set is a lamb. It's so fluffy, and it reminds me a little of the sanrio character Piano (even though she's pink!). I really love the sky blue and white gingham material used for this Winnie the Pooh tsum tsum's bowtie and ears.Sky blue is one of my favourite colours.

The final tsum tsum in this set is Eeyore dressed as a chick. I like the scratty style appearance of this costume and the little tuft of 'fluff' on his head. His bowtie and the inside of his ears is made from lilac and white gingham, which goes well with the grey of his body. Even though this tsum tsum is really cute, it's my least favourite of the set.

Overall, I'm really glad that I purchased this set and added it to my evergrowing tsum tsum collection. It's lovely and is beautifully coloured and so kawaii, and I'm looking forward to displaying them around my bedroom throughout Spring.

Thankyou for reading!

Tsum Tsum Collectors Pin

Hey everyone, I hope you're all having a great day! I don't usually blog on a Wednesday but I'm excited to show you all something tsum tsum related :) Who else got a collectors card when they first started their tsum tsum collections? When tsum tsums were first released in the UK, you could get a collectors card and with each tsum tsums plushie you purchased, you'd receive either a token (when bought online) or a stamp on your card (when bought in store). The aim was to collect limited edition collector's pins; you'd need 25 tokens for a silver pin and 50 for a gold pin. Unfortunately, around September the Disney store revealed that they would no longer be giving tokens or stamps and that you could for a limited time only redeem your collectors card for a pin, even if you didn't have the required amount of tokens.

Due to this, the store started running out of pins really quickly and I was worried I wouldn't be able to get one, but thankfully my mum recently spent the day in Blackpool and popped into their Disney store. They had ran out of silver pins, but yayy! I managed to get a gold one! I'm really happy about this because I've purchased over 50 tsum tsums from the Disney store (see my collecti0n here). I have loved pin badges for as long as I can remember and I have quite a few now, one day I'll show you my collection :)

I love how shiny and glittery this pin badge is! I also like the size of it... I expected it to be a little gold Mickey Mouse face or silhoutte, so I was pleasantly surprised when my mum handed me this! I think the overall design is great, and it makes me a little sad that I don't have the silver pin too. Who else collected their tsum tsum collector's pin?

Thankyou for reading!

Tsum Tsum Update

Today, I thought I'd do a little update on my tsum tsum collection. I am well and truly obsessed with these adorable little squishy plushies. I have always been a big fan of Disney movies and a lover of all things kawaii, so they are perfect for me... how could I possibly resist? I now have 57 in my collection because I can't stop buying them! I also have lots of tsum tsum stationary and I've even downloaded the game on my phone. Who else loves them?

I'm starting to run out of space to store my ever-growing collection! One of the many downsides to sharing a bedroom is not having enough room for all of my things and after experiencing what it's like to have my own room at university for the first time in my life, it's now even more stressful not having space for everything, but at least it's helping me improve my organising and storage skills! So until I think of a new way to display my tsum tsums, they all get piled on top of these plastic storage drawers, which clumsy old me is always knocking into on my way in and out of my bedroom causing loads of tsum tsums to scatter all over the floor! I'm interested in how everyone else is storing theirs... let me know in the comments :)

I was inspired to write this post because I've just added five new tsum tsums to my collection. Earlier this month, the Lion King collection was released containing nine gorgeous plushies. The Lion King has always been my favourite Disney movie since I was a child so I was over the moon when I learnt that they were making these tsum tsums. Unfortunately thanks to anxiety and depression, I had a gloomy start to the month and I completely forgot when the release date was! >.< By the time I remembered, some of the Lion King tsum tsums had been sold out online but I quickly snapped up the five that were available. It's a shame that I don't live near a Disney store so I can't search for them in-store. Anyhow, here are the adorable characters I got...

THEY ARE SOOOO CUTE! I love the fur details on all of them and I really appreciate all the little details that goes into the design of each tsum tsum. I got Simba, Zazu, Timon, Pumba & Rafiki. Not long after pulling open the packaging and investigating each plushie, I started reenacting the songs from the Lion King movie with them! I had a lot of fun singing the 'When I was a young warthog!' part of Hakuna Matata! My mum and sister thought it was hilarious :)

The Rafiki tsum tsum is my favourite of all the ones I bought. I love the colours used for him, especially the grey of his body and 'mane'... speaking of his 'mane', it's lovely! It's so soft and looks great. But the most adorable part of him is his little blue baboon butt! haha I really wish I could have gotten the Scar tsum tsum, but I'm still really happy to have all these characters. I'm hoping Disney bring out a collection for Lion King 2... I'd love a little Kiara & Kovu to add to my collection! Do you have any of the Lion King tsum tsums?

I hope you all enjoyed today's post. If you like baking, then you'll enjoy tomorrow's post :)

Even More Tsum Tsums

The UK Disney store released the Peter Pan tsum tsum collection on the 3rd November and it's such a fantastic movie that I could not resist purchasing all 10 of them! I love the story of Peter Pan and considering my love of kawaii things, plushies, stickers, fairytales, cartoons and lots more that could be classed as childish, I feel a kind of personal connection to the Never Growing Up motto of the movie and it's always been on my top 10 favourite disney movies. The collection includes Wendy and her brothers, John & Michael, Nana the dog, Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, Princess Tiger Lily, Tick-Tock the Crocodile, Mr.Smee and Captain Hook. Who's your favourite character?

I love the little details on all of the chracters and I can't choose one favourite! My top 4 are Princess Tiger Lily, Mr Smee, Tinkerbell & Nana. When I asked my family, most of them said that Nana was also their favourite. She looks adorable, exactly like her movie animation and I love the little blue bow under her chin.  Tinkerbell is my second favourite character from the movie and I feel the tsum tsum designers did her justice and made her look so cute, especially with her little wings!

How adorable is Mr.Smee with his pink clown-like nose and his fluffy white hair?! I also really like how they made his t-shirt blue & grey striped like on the movie. I loved his character, and I used to 'quote' Captain Hook's line from the movie all the time, 'MR SMEEEEEEEE!'. I'm all about quoting movies haha

As for Princess Tiger Lily, she was my favourite character of the movie. I have always had a love for Native American culture and history as long as I can remember, and was always fascinated by dreamcatchers, totems, spirit animals & the clothing and traditions of the different Native American tribes so as a child, I adored her character. I also love how strong she is when Captain Hook threatens her in an attempt to make her reveal where Peter Pan is hiding but she refuses and remains a loyal friend to him. I'm lovin' all the details of the Princess Tiger Lily tsum tsum... her hair, her headband with the tiny feather and the design of her dress.

Lastly, I just wanted to show you all the adorable design on the Michael Darling tsum tsum. I was so happy when I spotted that they had included his teddy because it's such a key element of his character in the movie. Just look how kawaii it is!

I hope you all enjoy reading the updates about my tsum tsum collection
& that you all had a great day, despite the bad weather!

More Tsum Tsums...

I bought some new tsums tsums.... Will I ever have enough? haha! My collection consists of over 30 tsum tsums now and I've got a little list going of others I want to get! I'm really excited about the UK release of the Peter Pan collection on 3rd November I love Peter Pan!

This week, 6 new tsum tsums arrived in the mail. I went onto the disney store website with the intention of purchasing 3 tsum tsums from the recently-released Marvel Collection, but as usual I cannot resist those adorable faces! After choosing 4 of the Marvel ones, I noticed that The Little Mermaid Collection had been restocked and actually did a little dance of joy! And so, I also snapped up two of those before they sold out again :)

I'm so happy I could get some of the Marvel tsum tsums... they were on my kawaii & geeky wishlist this month (see my wishlist here). The Marvel tsums tsums I bought include Black Widow, Thor, Hulk and Spiderman. The collection also has an Iron Man and Captain America plushie. My favourite is definitely Spiderman. He's so cute and I love all the little details in his design. My second favourite is Hulk... I think his fuzzy green hair is adorable. It looks like they may make more in this collection one day, since they've included lots of characters on the label. I hope so!

The Ariel tsum tsum is so sweet they've made her an adorable little tail!

I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Who else has blogged about tsum tsums? I'd love to read!

Just A Little Tsum Tsum Obsession

I recently did another tsum tsum mini haul on the Disney Online store, which inspired me to write this post showing off my over-growing collection! I am absolutely in love with these adorable little plushies, which I'd never heard about until earlier this year. They were launched in 2013 in Japan & their name which is derived from the Japanese word 'tsumu' means 'to stack' :) tsum tsum collectables are designed so they can be stacked, which just makes them even more cute! The underside of each tsum tsum is made in a smooth, leathery-feel material for cleaning the screens of your phone or tablet.

In the UK as well as being available at the Disney Store, tsum tsums can also be bought at Clinton Cards. I've found that Clintons has tsum tsums that have not been stocked at my closest Disney Store. The only downside to this is that if you have a tsum tsum collectors card, then you won't get a token when your tsum tsums are purchased at Clintons. I bought my first tsum tsum at Clintons on the 7th April this year; it was Chip, one of the adorable chipmunks from Disney series 'Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers'.

The total amount of tsum tsums that I have in my collection so far is 27! (which will soon grow... haha ^.^)

My favourite tsum tsums are Thumper & Miss Bunny from Bambi (due to my huge love of rabbits!), Donald & Daisy Duck, Alice & White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland & Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas (one of my favourite animated movies!).
