March Kawaii Box

Hey everyone! I hope you're all having a fantastic Saturday. I'm looking forward to tonight; I'm going on a night out with one of my closest friends and I can't wait! It's time for another review of the lovely Kawaii Box :) I hope you enjoy reading!

Inside this month's box: (1) Kawaii Pets Sticker Sheet, (2) Friendly Bear Colour Pen, (3) Panda Sleepmask, (4) Happy Mini Towel, (5) Emoji Plush Charm, (6) Cute Travel Lock, (7) Polygon Bracelet, (8) Stick Chewing Gum Eraser, (9) Apollo Chocolate DIY Kit & (10) Kokeshi Notebook.

It was exciting opening this month's kawaii box and being greeted by a big bright box! When I noticed that it was a DIY chocolate-making kit, I was really happy and although it looks like there's going to be strawberry flavoured chocolate inside (which I'm not very keen on), it's made by Meji which a popular Japanese chocolate brand so it should be yummy! I can't wait to have a go at making these super cute chocolates!

The Kawaii Box never fails to send me an adorable sticker sheet every month, and this month is no exception! It's great because they are stickers that I can't easily find here in the UK. I received these lovely puffy dog stickers, which includes little paw prints and dog accessories too. I love puffy stickers! It's always good to have a big supply of pens so you can always find another when the pen you're using runs out! This pen is cute, but it's not my favourite as it's very thin and I just prefer to have thicker pens. The tip of the pen reflects the slenderness of it's appearance and I don't like writing with pens like this at all. The colour of ink in my pen is purple, but this might vary in other boxes.

One of the things that I love about the Kawaii Box is that I  get some really random little items that I wouldn't typically search for to buy but are quite useful and will come in handy at some point :) It does suggest in the item description that the 'password lock' can be used for travel but it seems too small so I'm not sure what luggage it could be used for. I think it's more appropriate for a little locked trinket box. I like the pink and aqua colour combination with the coloured 'dials' or whatever they are called, as well as the cute little bear? face on the lock. How adorable is the Kokeshi notebook? I love a nice mini notebook that can fit easily into my handbag. Although this notebook is very thin so won't take me long to fill up, the sweet illustration on the cover makes up for it! It's a very bright, cheerful design. Apologies for the light glare on the eraser/rubber! It makes it difficult to see the cute frog on the front of the product. It's a simple little rubber, but this is good as it will fit into a small pencil case. I'm hoping that it's scented because there's an orange on the sleeve which is making me curious.

This item is so bloody adorable! I don't use sleepmasks because I haven't found one that doesn't annoy me yet! I get easily irritated with things on my face haha does anyone else experience this? Hopefully this will be my dream sleepmask! I'm not too sure though because it has a waterproof plastic texture which I don't like. It's a really nice item nonetheless and is quite padded and squishy so I'm sure lots of people will love it. I love things with polka dot patterns and this bobble (hairbrand) is a lovely shade of pink, but I have to admit that I'm a little disappointed with the item. It feels like it's made from cheap material and isn't very well made in my opinion. There's some loose threads on it and it feels like it might fall apart if it was used, which is a shame because it is pretty.

This emoji plush charm is my favourite item in the entire box! Emoji products have been really popular lately and I liked the emoji cushions that have been all over the shops, but I don't have enough room for any more things on my bed now as it's filled with Amuse plushies! This mini plush charm is the perfect alternative! It's amazingly soft, I love it! Plus this cheeky tongue face is one of the most used emojis on my iPhone. I especially love how bright the yellow is!

This 'happy mini towel' is probably my second favourite item in the March Kawaii Box. It's super lovely with all the happy cats and the little smiley clouds! I've been planning to buy a new flannel so this came at the perfect time. It's a lovely colour and design, and it feels pretty soft. The blue colour is fantastic too. The final item is this bright, almost neon, pink bracelet. It's not really something that I would wear and I know I would find the polygon-shaped beads irritating on my wrist. I will likely give it to one of my nieces. Overall, I liked the majority of the items that came inside my March Kawaii Box and I think it was another great box!

Thankyou for reading!

What are your favourite items in this Kawaii Box? Have you ever tried any chocolate made by Meji? (If so, what did you think?) What's your most used emoji?

February Kawaii Box

Happy April everyone! I am so behind on my blogging schedule after the rocky start to last month. I feel like I'm finally ready to get back on track and I'm looking forward to writing the posts I have planned for this month :) I'm really glad that it's springtime and I have some fun things organised with my friends so I'm feeling optimistic and happy about the days ahead! One of the posts that I didn't get around to writing last month was my monthly Kawaii Box post, so here it is :) Enjoy!

kawaii box, kawaii,
In this month's box: (1) Korean DIY Magic Balloon Set, (2) Taiyaki Crepe Charm, (3) Funny Forest Greeting Card, (4) Korean DIY Stitching Keychain, (5) DIY Beard Bracelet Set, (6) Bourbon Petit Green Tea Flavoured Cookies, (7) Lucky Baby Sheep Pen, (8) Moomin Plushie, (9) Cute Bunny Paperclips, (10) Neko Sticker Sheet, (11) Kawaii Mini Pouch

My favourite item in the February Kawaii Box is of course the adorable Moomin plushie! *insert lots of heart eyed emojis* I absolutely love the Moomins; it was one of my favourite cartoons when I was little and I even named one of my bunnies 'Moomin'. Its such a lovely plushie, is great quality and feels really soft. I love the pale blue colour of Moomin's eyes and I'm so happy to have received this in my box. I'm not the best at stitching but it will be fun to give the DIY stitching keyring a go or I could gift it to a friend who enjoys needlework. I'm excited to try the green tea cookies, they look yummy! I think it's really good that they've included such a big packet (you get 24 cookies!).

I think the design of the kawaii mini pouch is so sweet, with the little bunny, the strawberries and hearts, and the ice-creams! It's made of silky smooth material and feels really nice. It's just a shame that it's so small so I'm not sure what to use it for, but I'll think of something. It's too cute not to use! The taiyaki crepe charm is perfect for people who love Japanese snacks! I'm really impressed with all the fine details that have been incorporated into it's design; all of the little scales and even the golden brown colouration of the crepe are so good. I love the look of the pink cream inside. It's a lovely little charm. Another item that I really love in this month's kawaii box was the DIY bracelet set. I've always enjoyed making my own bracelets and this little set is so pretty. I like how the beads come in a jar and how they are all pastel colours. I'm going to save this for a rainy day :)

It seems like I say this in every kawaii box review that I write, but I really love how there's always a sticker sheet inside! I love these adorable kitty stickers, they are a little different to the style I usually receive because they come with little clothes so you can dress the cats. I think it's such a sweet idea, and the dresses are lovely. They remind me of lolita dresses. You can never have too many cute pens in my opinion and I'm very glad to add this cute sleepy sheep pen to my collection.

This funny forest greeting card is probably my second favourite item in the February box. I just think the design is so pretty, especially the doe and little mushrooms. It's actually a pop up style card; the card remains flat but the animals & plants can be lifted up to make a 3D card. I've never actually seen a card like this before, and I don't think I'm ever gonna use it because it's too lovely. I think these rabbit paperclips are so awesome! I can't wait to use them in my filofax planner. I like how they are large paperclips, which I prefer to the tiny ones, and they feel strong enough to hold a good chunk of paper. I also really like how each one is a different character, and my favourite is the grey rabbit with glasses and a pink dress. I'm a little disappointed that there's a mark on one of their faces, but they are still great!

I forgot to get a close up photograph of korean DIY balloon making kit, oops! haha I think this is a really interesting and quirky item to receive, and I'm looking forward to attempting to make some balloon animals. I used to be fascinated watching these balloons being made in front of me at birthday parties when I was little, especially when I was given a poodle shaped one! What was/is your favourite balloon shape?

Thankyou for reading!

January Kawaii Box

A few days ago I received another lovely kawaii box. It arrived a lot quicker than usual which was a nice surprise as I wasn't expecting it. It's filled with some adorable items and I hope you enjoy reading about what was inside :)

(1) Kracie Popin' Cookin' Oekaki Gummy Land DIY kit, (2) Tiny Bow Stickers, (3) Dreams Come Through Pen, (4) Sweet Mini Bag, (5) Soft Bear Plush, (6) Korean Secret Pen Set, (7) Jewelry Deco Stickers, (8) Sweet Neko Purse, (9) Nail Deco Flake Set, (10) Doughnut Squishy Charm (there was supposed to be an 11th item, a Cupcake Eraser but looks like they forgot to put it in my box, oops).

My favourite items in the January kawaii box are the tiny bunny & bows stickers and the cat (neko) purse. How adorable are these stickers? Those little bunny faces are too cute! I can't wait to start using them in my filofax planner and notebooks. One of my favourite things about the kawaii box in general is that it always includes a lovely sticker sheet and they are usually the squishy ones which are the best! The neko purse is also so adorable! I love it's big eyes and cute little nose, and those ears are awesome. The fabric that the purse is made from is lovely; it feels so soft

This crown pen would have made it to my favourites because I think it's really pretty and I love the tiny pink jewel detail, but there's a misspelling on the pen so that's disappointing. Instead of saying 'Dreams come true', it says 'ture'. The sweet mini bag is something that I know I won't use so I will give it to my niece. I love squishies like this donut charm so I will definitely put it on one of my bags some day.

The jewelery deco sticker is so bright and pretty, but I will more than likely use it in scrapbooking or crafty projects rather than on my phone. Again, I will probably use the nail deco flake set for decorating in crafty projects than on my nails, because I don't use nail art. I'm so clumsy that I know I'd have knocked them off or ruined my fancy nails within a few hours of decorating them.

This is the yummiest looking DIY candy kit I've received since I subscriped to the kawaii box. It's so colourful and I can't wait to make it, it looks so fun! Overall, it was another great box with lots of cute Japanese and Korean items and if  you love kawaii, I recommend that you subscribe it to. International shipping is free and the box is really cheap for all the items you get. Why not get a one off box for your friend who loves kawaii? it was also make a great gift for your children/grandchildren/nieces & nephews :)

Thankyou for reading!
I hope you're all having a great week.
I'm so excited, I'm going to see a musical tomorow! I really need to do something fun after the week I've had so far!

December Kawaii Box

Yayyy! It's time for another Kawaii Box post! My December box arrived a few days ago filled with 11 adorable items. I hope you all enjoy these subscription box posts :) next month I've decided to get the Pop In a Box subscription box so I'll be posting about those each month. I've also ordered another box; it's a seasonal one and won't arrive for a few months yet, however I'm keeping this one a secret! haha I'll just tell you that it's really cute and I'm so excited! I'm becoming a little addicted to these boxes. I just love getting mail! So anyhow, here's what I got in my December Kawaii Box:

- (1) Ice Cream Purse - (2) Polka Dot Washi Tape - (3) Kracie Ramen DIY Candy Kit - (4) Heart Shaped Nail Art - (5) Fat Animals Stickers - (6) Kawaii Owl Notebook - (7) Waffle Squishy - (8) Happy Cat Nail Clipper - (9) Moggie Doggie Pen - (10) Korean Nail Set - (11) Lollipop Towel -

* I didn't include the Lollipop Towel in the photo above because I was too curious and when I opened it, I unraveled it and then couldn't get it back together again! Oops haha I did take a quick photo just before I opened it, so I can still show it to you all :)

The lollipop towel was packaged in such a cute way... I kind of regret opening it! Once unraveled, you'll find a mini face cloth. I probably won't use it because it's not very big but it's a sweet item and I think it would be a cute addition if you were gifting a bunch of bath products to a friend.

This gorgeous purse is one of my favourite items in this month's box. I love this pastel shade of pink, it's so bright and pretty. The pattern of adorable little ice-creams is just lovely, and I like how the zipper is an aqua colour because I love the combination of pink and aqua or turquoise together. To attach the purse to your bag, there's a keyring and a 'snap chip' style one too, both a lovely gold colour.

How cute is this nailset with little bunnies on it? I'm not a fan of wearing false nails so I'm probably going to pop them in with my niece's birthday presents. I love the blue polka dot tape; it's not actually washi tape as the description says... it's fabric tape and I'm going to use it for scrapbooking. Who else likes scrapbooking? If you blog about it that's even better! please leave me a link in the comments. Look at the cat nail clippers! Aren't they lovely? This is my next favourite item in this month's box

A closer view of the cat clippers for you all... they are awesome :) Do you ever see something and are instantly reminded of a thing that was funny amongst your fellow classmates when you were a teenager?  Then you feel a little silly that it still makes you giggle even now? ... well, does anyone remember the whole 'blue waffle' thing from your school days? Even though I was probably one of the few people at school to actually go home and research if there was any truth behind it and not find it all that funny at the time, it still made me smile a little when I saw this squishy waffle charm in the box. I love squishy charms and I think the sprinkles used on this one are cute.

I love that each kawaii box contains stickers! These chubby little animals are adorable... I especially like the chickens. The majority of them are tiny so I will be able to use them in my filofax. I have always loved owls! So I was really happy when I spotted this colourful owl notepad. It's small enough so I can pop it into my bag and I will likely end up using it as a to-do/shopping list book.... I need to stop just taking random bits of paper out with me because by the end of the month, my bag is filled with a load of notes and receipts :D

Overall, there were some great items in this months box but if I'm honest, it was one of my least favourite of all the boxes that I've received. It hasn't put me off continuing my subscription as it's such a great value for money, working out at around £13 a month which is fantastic for the amount of items you get and I can always give some of the items to my friends :)

Thankyou for reading!
