September Wishlist

Hi everyone! How are you all today? I am exhausted! I spent the last two days walking around A LOT in Manchester. My best friend & I went over there to celebrate our birthday's together, and stayed over for the night at the Premier Inn. On Friday night, we went to TGI Friday's for a meal since my best friend really wanted to try there Birthday Cake Shake dessert (she absolutely loved it! Her face when it arrived at our table was adorable!). I ordered myself a Popcorn Brownie Sundae and that was scrumptious. Today was spent shopping all day and spending way more money than I should have! Oh well, it's my birthday (tomorrow) so gotta treat myself :) Anyhow, on with today's post, which is my monthly wishlist. I hope you all enjoy reading!

September Wishlist

1. Burgundy Leggings from Yours Clothing It's finally Autumn and all of my favourite clothing colours are in! The stores are filling up with my perfect clothes and I need to stock up on some to last me until next Autumn. I love burgundy, and I wear leggings pretty much all the time and they are always black ones so I thought it would be nice to try out some new colours.

2. Set of Macaroon Candles How lovely are these mini macaroon candles!? I love that they are all pastel shades and I think they would look lovely dotted around my bedroom. I don't think I could bring myself to ever burn them though!

3. Cut Out White Owl Tealight Holder I've been looking for a pretty little candle holder for a while to display in my bedroom once it's all decorated (which should be soon and I'm so excited!). I like the cut-out style candle holders because of the lovely patterns of light they make on the surface around them once there's a candle lit inside them.

4. Tinker Bell Starry Night Box Make-Up Case Yay! The Peter Pan range at Cath Kidston is finally out, and it's gorgeous. If you haven't check the products yet guys, you need to! I very much regret not buying this beautiful make-up case when I spotted it today in the Manchester Arndale Centre; I need to get it! The colour starry pattern is so fantastic and I love the dark blue shade of the case :)

5. Black Suedette Slouch Boots I have needed to invest in some new black boots for a while now and I still haven't! I definitely need to get some now that it's comfy boot season. I really like how simple the design of these boots is, and I think they'd go great with any outfit.

6. Stabilo Mini Candy Pack of Fineliner Pens My current set of Stabilo fineliner pens have almost all ran out now. They are fabulous pens and lasted for ages, but now it's time to add some new ones to my stationery collection. I love the pale colours available in this set. Mini pens are also so much more adorable and easy to store. I think 15 for just under £10 is great!

7. Lush Silky Underwear Dusting Powder I have wanted to buy the Snow Fairy dusting powder for ages now and since it won't be released again until Christmas time, I wanted to try out Lush's dusting powder and see if I like it before I buy a big bottle of the Snow Fairy one. I would love to find out what the Silky Underwear one smells like too :)

8. Maple Pancakes Yankee Candle This candle scent actually sounds amazing! The website lists the fragrance notes as 'buttery creamy sugar, coconut, vanilla, caramel, almond, rum and maple. I am hungry now after writing that sentence, and I bet it would fill a room with such a yummy smell. Caramel and maple are also perfect scents for Autumn, don't you think?

9. Stephen King's Carrie When I was a teenager, I really got into Stephen King's horror/thriller movies, such as Carrie, Pet Sematary, IT and The Shining, and I always meant to read the movies behind the awesome movies, but just never did. I am pretty obsessed with the newly released Stephen King's IT movie and this has inspired me to read some of the books, and since the IT book is massive haha, I thought I'd start off with Carrie. Have you ever heard any of Stephen King's novels? Which is your favourite?

Thankyou for reading!

Blindbox Haul

Happy Sunday everyone! Over the last few months, I have had quite a few blindboxes on my wishlist and I'm happy to announce that I've finally got around to buying some! In today's post, I'm going to be showing you the vinyl figures that I received inside each blindbox. So this is post is one for my fellow toy and figure lovers :) I hope you enjoy!

Blindbox Haul

As you'll probably know by now, I am a little (*cough* a lot) obsessed with the Unicorno figures by Tokidoki. I am collecting series 4 and I still don't have all of the figures, so it was time to get some more Unicorno blindboxes to try and add more to my collection. Tokidoki are yet to release a series 5, but they have created a new Unicorno collection. I featured the Mermicorno blindbox on my June Kawaii & Geeky Wishlist and I was over the moon to have finally been able to order one! As well as getting more Unicorno blindboxes, I also ordered another from the Tokidoki collection. What sparked this haul was watching unboxing videos with my niece on Youtube, and the first video we watched showed the Moofia Series 1 collection. I had strong craving for opening blindboxes afterwards and with Moofia starting it all, of course I had to pop one of those in my shopping cart too, haha! I get all of my Tokidoki blindboxes from an online called Collect & Display.

Blindbox Haul, Unicorno Blindbox, Tokidoki Blindbox, Moofia Blindbox, Mermicorno Blindbox,

It was a pleasant surprise to see that the Unicorno logo has been redesigned. I love this new one, it's so cute with the little unicorn heads inside the O's! I have purchased a Moofia blindbox before, although I forgot to blog about it, oops, but I was still really happy about the design of the box the second time around. I just think it is awesome how it's designed to resemble a milk carton. The Mermicorno box is so different to the typical Unicorno boxes. Instead of being made from cardboard, it's plastic, and it's also see-through. On the usual Unicorno blindboxes, all of the characters you can get are shown on the side of the box along with their names. However, with the Mermicorno blindbox you don't get this. I was super excited to open these boxes, yet I was also a little nervous about the Unicorno ones since I only have three more to collect, two of which are chasers (harder to get) and so there was a higher risk of me getting more duplicates. Without further ado, here are the figures that I got...

Unicorno Blindbox, Unicorno Series 4, Unicorno Series 4 Blindbox,

Yayyyy! I got Ruby! This unicorn was one of the figures that I was hoping for. She's so pretty too. I adore her design, I especially love how they've not only decorated her with little strawberries but have also made her mane red and tail green so that she resembles a strawberry, too! Looking at her makes me think of a strawberry Mini Milk ice lolly. I love the shade of baby pink they have used, and also her little red freckles. I received a duplicate in my other blindbox, a Yuki figure, and I gave it to my niece. I just need to get Kingsley and Elettrico to complete the entire series 4!

Moofia Blindbox, Tokidoki Moofia Blindbox, Tokidoki Moofia,

I absolutely love the Moofia characters! I think they are adorable, and I have so much Moofia merch. I am actually wearing my Moofia PJ pants as I write this post! :) The Moofia series 1 collection includes ten figures, plus a chaser. I really wanted one of the milk carton characters as they are my favourite, and I'm not planning to complete this collection. I am still happy with the Half & Half milk though because he's cute. I love his horns and the sweet little coffee cup printed on his front. I also like that he's winking, and I'm glad that he stands up well on his own without falling over. Anyone else have any Moofia merch?

Mermicorno, Tokidoki Mermicorno, Mermicorno Blindbox,

OH MY GOSH! How gorgeous is this figure!!? I am really impressed! I had already watched an unboxing video of these new cuties, and I can't believe that I got one of my favourites in my first unboxing. This character is called Marina, and I love her purple, blue and pink colour scheme. I love the anchor bow on her mane, and the metallic blue used on her tail and mane. She's a very nice figure and I am now tempted to collect all of the Mermicornos! Watch this space :)

You may think that this post is over now because I've shown you all of the Tokidoki figures I got, but I have two more blindboxes to show you. One of my nieces recently turned 11 and for her birthday, I bought her a My Geek Box Kids one-off subscription box. The boxes are aimed at 5-11 years old, so you often get items that are not really suited for an 11 year old but are perfect for a younger child. I opened the box prior to giving it to my niece, removed the items that I knew she wouldn't enjoy and replaced them with some items I'd bought. One of the items that I thought would be fun to put in was a blindbox. I decided on the Funko Disney Princess Mystery Mini's, and since I have wanted one of these for ages too I couldn't not order myself one. I was feeling particularly generous that day so I ordered another for my sister.

My sister got Anna from Frozen & I got Jasmine from Aladdin! Although my sister would have loved to get Ariel as she's her favourite Disney Princess, she was still happy to get Anna. I love her freckles and I think it's cool that they've included the white streak in her hair. I absolutely love her outfit, it looks just like the movie! Belle is my favourite Disney movie but I was more than glad to receive Jasmine. She's adorable and I think her outfit is fabulous, especially her shoes. I wish that I'd taken a photo of her hair to show you all. It's awesome, and so big. It makes the figure a lot more weightier than the Anna one. These figures looked adorable on the box, however they are so much more cuter in person. I'm definitely gonna be getting some more! My niece was really lucky with her box, too. She got Raja the Tiger from Aladdin, and he's one of the rarest figures in the whole collection at 1 in 72. Clearly there was some birthday luck going on there, haha!

I seriously need to get my shelving sorted in my bedroom, which I've been saying for months and months now. I have no where to display my figures until I have purchased some shelves, and I want to display all of my new fantastic figures!! I'd love to see photos of how everyone displays their figures and toys. Add me on snapchat and show me! (I'm at raiin_monkey). I hope you all enjoyed reading this post. Let me know which was your favourite figure in the comments.

Thankyou for reading!

Out of all of the figures in the Disney Princess blindbox, which would you more like to get?

May Pop in a Box

Trying to organise this blog post today was stressful. My laptop is broken and it's seriously about time I got a new one. I'm saving for a new fancy camera so I'm sad that I'm going to have to dab into my savings to get a laptop now! But finally, here is today's post! It's all about which Funko Pop figures I got from my Pop in a Box subscription this month. Enjoy!

Funko Pop, Pop Vinyl, Pop Funko,

I'm really happy with the two Pop! figures I received this month. I actually squealed with joy when I saw the orange box through the bubblewrap and was 96% sure that I'd received a Dragonball Z character! I'm over the moon that I finally have a character from one of my favourite animes ever to add to my fast-growing Funko collection! I'm super happy to have received a Beauty and the Beast character too, since it's joint 1st place in my list of favourite Disney movies along with The Lion King.

The DBZ character that I received is Super Saiyan Goku and wow, he looks so awesome! He's really cute and I love all of the details of his design, too. He's not my favourite character in this whole collection but I'm still glad to have received him as I want to get all of the DBZ Pop! vinyls. I really like how bright this figure is and his costume looks great.

My favourite thing about this Goku Pop! has to be his incredible hair! Funko did an amazing job of it, it really resembles the cartoon and has so much detail. Another thing that I really like is Goku's clenched fists. I'm completely in love with this figure. One thing that is a little annoying is that there's a tiny blob of paint on his right eye which makes it not smooth. It's not really noticeable on the photos but now that I've seen it, I can't stop noticing it! It's not a major problem though, and I'm still really chuffed that I got my first DBZ Pop!

Here's a close up of Super Saiyan Goku's hair, just because it's fantastic and I wanna show it off!

How adorable is this figure of The Beast though!? I love the smile on his face and his cute little fangs. I mean, just look how sweet his 'beard' and eyebrows are! Awww, I love the design of this Pop! I think his suit looks so nice and I'm really glad that they choose to put him in the outfit he wears to dance with Belle. I'm lovin his bright yellow waistcoat and royal blue blazer.

Another feature of his design that I love are his horns, but my favourite part of The Beast figure is his little ponytail which has a royal blue bow in it. It's super cute and I'm glad that they included it in his design! I just need the Belle Pop! now; I'll be really happy when I can display the adorable couple together.

Even though he's really adorable, I have to admit that I'm not happy with this particular figure because of how bad the paintjob is! As you can see in all of the photos of The Beast above, the painting on his right fang is really messy and it's a shame that it's on his face because it's then visible everytime I look at the figure. There's also bad painting on his eyebrow, his yellow waistcoat and in various little spots all over the figure. A further disappointing thing is that the head is not attached very well (visible in the photo above) and I've tried to push it to see if it will straighten, but it's doesnt. I wish that Pop in a Box would check the figures before packing them as they are collectables and are supposed to be on display so it's a real shame when they look messy.

If anyone has any tips on how I can remove the messy paint around his fang without removing the brown paint from his face, please let me know :)

Overall, I am very happy with the characters that I received this month and I'm looking forward to receiving June's Pop in a Box (I'm tempted to order three this time!). I've been showing Super Saiyan Goku off to anyone who will listen! I'm completely fangirling over him and he's gonna be getting pride of place on top of my gecko's tank for a while :) Until I get Vegeta that is!

Thankyou for reading!

Easter Tsum Tsums

Yay! It's Easter tomorrow :) It's been so hard to resist devouring my Easter goodies today. Bring on tomorrow! I hope everyone has a lovely day filled with lots of chocolate and Easter themed cuteness! I've been really looking forward to showing you all these adorable Easter edition tsum tsums This is going to be quite a pic heavy post!

Just look how bloody cute they are! I could not resist buying this set as soon as I spotted it on the Disney website. I absolutely love that the characters are dressed in baby animal costumes! I love all the little details of their costumes... the material, the colours. It's such a wonderful set.

The basket that the tsum tsums come in is really nice. It feels so so soft, and the colour scheme again is great. I love the green and white gingham material used for the lining of the basket and the matching bows on the handle of the basket.

No Easter themed set is complete without Easter bunnies, and this Minnie & Mickey pair is so pretty!  I love that they've included the gingham in their costume design. I don't usually like the typical blue for a boy and pink for a girl design but I think it looks nice in this case. Another thing I love on these tsum tsums are their rosy red cheeks :)

Even better, they have super cute bunny tails! I'm just really impressed with these fantastic bunny tsum tsums, but I'm also bunny obsessed so that's to be expected! haha

Another adorable baby animal needed in any Easter set is a lamb. It's so fluffy, and it reminds me a little of the sanrio character Piano (even though she's pink!). I really love the sky blue and white gingham material used for this Winnie the Pooh tsum tsum's bowtie and ears.Sky blue is one of my favourite colours.

The final tsum tsum in this set is Eeyore dressed as a chick. I like the scratty style appearance of this costume and the little tuft of 'fluff' on his head. His bowtie and the inside of his ears is made from lilac and white gingham, which goes well with the grey of his body. Even though this tsum tsum is really cute, it's my least favourite of the set.

Overall, I'm really glad that I purchased this set and added it to my evergrowing tsum tsum collection. It's lovely and is beautifully coloured and so kawaii, and I'm looking forward to displaying them around my bedroom throughout Spring.

Thankyou for reading!

Which one of these tsum tsums is your favourite? Mine is Mickey :)

Tsum Tsum Collectors Pin

Hey everyone, I hope you're all having a great day! I don't usually blog on a Wednesday but I'm excited to show you all something tsum tsum related :) Who else got a collectors card when they first started their tsum tsum collections? When tsum tsums were first released in the UK, you could get a collectors card and with each tsum tsums plushie you purchased, you'd receive either a token (when bought online) or a stamp on your card (when bought in store). The aim was to collect limited edition collector's pins; you'd need 25 tokens for a silver pin and 50 for a gold pin. Unfortunately, around September the Disney store revealed that they would no longer be giving tokens or stamps and that you could for a limited time only redeem your collectors card for a pin, even if you didn't have the required amount of tokens.

Due to this, the store started running out of pins really quickly and I was worried I wouldn't be able to get one, but thankfully my mum recently spent the day in Blackpool and popped into their Disney store. They had ran out of silver pins, but yayy! I managed to get a gold one! I'm really happy about this because I've purchased over 50 tsum tsums from the Disney store (see my collecti0n here). I have loved pin badges for as long as I can remember and I have quite a few now, one day I'll show you my collection :)

I love how shiny and glittery this pin badge is! I also like the size of it... I expected it to be a little gold Mickey Mouse face or silhoutte, so I was pleasantly surprised when my mum handed me this! I think the overall design is great, and it makes me a little sad that I don't have the silver pin too. Who else collected their tsum tsum collector's pin?

Thankyou for reading!

Tsum Tsum Update

Today, I thought I'd do a little update on my tsum tsum collection. I am well and truly obsessed with these adorable little squishy plushies. I have always been a big fan of Disney movies and a lover of all things kawaii, so they are perfect for me... how could I possibly resist? I now have 57 in my collection because I can't stop buying them! I also have lots of tsum tsum stationary and I've even downloaded the game on my phone. Who else loves them?

I'm starting to run out of space to store my ever-growing collection! One of the many downsides to sharing a bedroom is not having enough room for all of my things and after experiencing what it's like to have my own room at university for the first time in my life, it's now even more stressful not having space for everything, but at least it's helping me improve my organising and storage skills! So until I think of a new way to display my tsum tsums, they all get piled on top of these plastic storage drawers, which clumsy old me is always knocking into on my way in and out of my bedroom causing loads of tsum tsums to scatter all over the floor! I'm interested in how everyone else is storing theirs... let me know in the comments :)

I was inspired to write this post because I've just added five new tsum tsums to my collection. Earlier this month, the Lion King collection was released containing nine gorgeous plushies. The Lion King has always been my favourite Disney movie since I was a child so I was over the moon when I learnt that they were making these tsum tsums. Unfortunately thanks to anxiety and depression, I had a gloomy start to the month and I completely forgot when the release date was! >.< By the time I remembered, some of the Lion King tsum tsums had been sold out online but I quickly snapped up the five that were available. It's a shame that I don't live near a Disney store so I can't search for them in-store. Anyhow, here are the adorable characters I got...

THEY ARE SOOOO CUTE! I love the fur details on all of them and I really appreciate all the little details that goes into the design of each tsum tsum. I got Simba, Zazu, Timon, Pumba & Rafiki. Not long after pulling open the packaging and investigating each plushie, I started reenacting the songs from the Lion King movie with them! I had a lot of fun singing the 'When I was a young warthog!' part of Hakuna Matata! My mum and sister thought it was hilarious :)

The Rafiki tsum tsum is my favourite of all the ones I bought. I love the colours used for him, especially the grey of his body and 'mane'... speaking of his 'mane', it's lovely! It's so soft and looks great. But the most adorable part of him is his little blue baboon butt! haha I really wish I could have gotten the Scar tsum tsum, but I'm still really happy to have all these characters. I'm hoping Disney bring out a collection for Lion King 2... I'd love a little Kiara & Kovu to add to my collection! Do you have any of the Lion King tsum tsums?

I hope you all enjoyed today's post. If you like baking, then you'll enjoy tomorrow's post :)

Even More Tsum Tsums

The UK Disney store released the Peter Pan tsum tsum collection on the 3rd November and it's such a fantastic movie that I could not resist purchasing all 10 of them! I love the story of Peter Pan and considering my love of kawaii things, plushies, stickers, fairytales, cartoons and lots more that could be classed as childish, I feel a kind of personal connection to the Never Growing Up motto of the movie and it's always been on my top 10 favourite disney movies. The collection includes Wendy and her brothers, John & Michael, Nana the dog, Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, Princess Tiger Lily, Tick-Tock the Crocodile, Mr.Smee and Captain Hook. Who's your favourite character?

I love the little details on all of the chracters and I can't choose one favourite! My top 4 are Princess Tiger Lily, Mr Smee, Tinkerbell & Nana. When I asked my family, most of them said that Nana was also their favourite. She looks adorable, exactly like her movie animation and I love the little blue bow under her chin.  Tinkerbell is my second favourite character from the movie and I feel the tsum tsum designers did her justice and made her look so cute, especially with her little wings!

How adorable is Mr.Smee with his pink clown-like nose and his fluffy white hair?! I also really like how they made his t-shirt blue & grey striped like on the movie. I loved his character, and I used to 'quote' Captain Hook's line from the movie all the time, 'MR SMEEEEEEEE!'. I'm all about quoting movies haha

As for Princess Tiger Lily, she was my favourite character of the movie. I have always had a love for Native American culture and history as long as I can remember, and was always fascinated by dreamcatchers, totems, spirit animals & the clothing and traditions of the different Native American tribes so as a child, I adored her character. I also love how strong she is when Captain Hook threatens her in an attempt to make her reveal where Peter Pan is hiding but she refuses and remains a loyal friend to him. I'm lovin' all the details of the Princess Tiger Lily tsum tsum... her hair, her headband with the tiny feather and the design of her dress.

Lastly, I just wanted to show you all the adorable design on the Michael Darling tsum tsum. I was so happy when I spotted that they had included his teddy because it's such a key element of his character in the movie. Just look how kawaii it is!

I hope you all enjoy reading the updates about my tsum tsum collection
& that you all had a great day, despite the bad weather!

More Tsum Tsums...

I bought some new tsums tsums.... Will I ever have enough? haha! My collection consists of over 30 tsum tsums now and I've got a little list going of others I want to get! I'm really excited about the UK release of the Peter Pan collection on 3rd November I love Peter Pan!

This week, 6 new tsum tsums arrived in the mail. I went onto the disney store website with the intention of purchasing 3 tsum tsums from the recently-released Marvel Collection, but as usual I cannot resist those adorable faces! After choosing 4 of the Marvel ones, I noticed that The Little Mermaid Collection had been restocked and actually did a little dance of joy! And so, I also snapped up two of those before they sold out again :)

I'm so happy I could get some of the Marvel tsum tsums... they were on my kawaii & geeky wishlist this month (see my wishlist here). The Marvel tsums tsums I bought include Black Widow, Thor, Hulk and Spiderman. The collection also has an Iron Man and Captain America plushie. My favourite is definitely Spiderman. He's so cute and I love all the little details in his design. My second favourite is Hulk... I think his fuzzy green hair is adorable. It looks like they may make more in this collection one day, since they've included lots of characters on the label. I hope so!

The Ariel tsum tsum is so sweet they've made her an adorable little tail!

I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Who else has blogged about tsum tsums? I'd love to read!
