Lush Wishlist | Blogmas #30

Hello guys! I have literally done nothing but sleep for most of the day, oops! In the early hours of the morning when I couldn't get to sleep, I decided that I wanted to watch one of the Netflix series I've had on my watch list for ages, which is never a sensible idea for me! If I enjoy a show, I don't want to stop watching it and before I know it the sun has come out and the birds are tweeting and I've heard my family have gotten up. I look at my clock to discover that it's in fact 11:30am XD So I guess you can say that I really enjoyed watching The OA, and I'll definitely be mentioning it in my What I've Been Watching post next month, haha!

Over the last few days, I've been seeing a lot of photos of Lush products, mostly what everyone has been gifted for Christmas, and it's made me feel like I'm in serious need of a Lush haul myself considering there's only one bath bomb left in my designated bathtime drawer. Yesterday my best friend blogged all about her recent festive Lush haul (you can check out her post here), and it just made want to have a good spending spree there even more. There are so many products that I'm yet to try! So for today's post, I was inspired to share a wishlist of the products that sound most appealing to me right now :) Enjoy!

Lush Haul

Dashing Santa Bath Bomb I have tried almost all of the Christmassy bathbombs that Lush have released over the last few years, however I still haven't bought myself this one! It has a really cute design and is made with a mix of bergamot & mandarin oils, so it's perfect for me since I am a lover of citrus scents. I neeed to buy it before it goes!

Pink Peppermint Foot Lotion Anyone who knows me well will know that I spend most of my life barefoot. I just hate having to wear shoes and socks, and since I spend the majority of my time at home, there's no reason why I have to wear them so I just don't. My parents think that I'm a bit of a wild child, especially since I don't usually wear shoes when I'm outside in the garden either :D The only downside to this is that my feet are always exposed to all sorts of surfaces, etc and I need to get into the habit of looking after them a little more! The fact that this one is peppermint makes me want it straight away, however I think it's awesome that it's pink too! People have mentioned in the reviews on the Lush website that it has helped with their circulation too, and I am very intrigued about how this might impact the pain that I get in my feet thanks to fibromyalgia.

Love Body Spray I have been curious about trying out Lush body sprays for a while now, and none of the fragrances that I've spotted when visiting the store have appealed to my tastes. I don't like spraying my perfumes or deodorant all over myself; I find that the smell can get a little overpowering for me and give me a headache. However, I still wanna smell yummy, so I thought I'd give the Lush spray's a go. Love is an online exclusive, and contains two of my favourite floral fragrances, Ylang Ylang and Lemongrass.

Secret Arts Jelly Bomb Earlier this month, I shared a review of the Snow Fairy jelly bomb, and this was my first time using one of these new kinds of bath bombs by Lush. I mentioned in this post how afterwards I was encouraged to try more, and this one is the next best sounding one to me! I love the name, which is inspired by Harry Potter! I really enjoyed having black bath water when I used the Black as Your Soul bathbomb by Hex Bomb, so it would be cool to see how this one compares as well!

Lord of Misrule Shower Cream Everyone loves the Lush shower creams & I really want to find out for myself what all the fuss is about! I really love the Lord of Misrule bathbomb, the smell of it is amazing! So, I am very much looking forward to finding out how similar the shower cream's scent is. The ingredients include black pepper, vanilla & patchouli, all of which I enjoy. The dark green colour of the shower cream is something that I like too, as it reminds me of forests (my favourite places in the world!).

Dirty Dusting Powder I was really sad when I discovered that Lush had stopped selling their bottles of Fairy Dust dusting powder, because I really really wanted to try it! I decided to just try another instead, called Silky Underwear. When I opened it, I actually hated the scent because I'm not a big fan of Jasmine, and it was such a shame. I have been looking after for a scent that I might like ever since but couldn't find one. Lately though, I learnt about Dirty and it sounds right up my street fragrance-wise. It is a blend of spearmint, rosemary, thyme and rosewood. I love mint so I'm hoping that this one will be a hit with me!

Sweetest Thing Gift Box In her recent haul post, my best friend talked about one of the Lush gift boxes and after seeing the items that she got inside hers, it's made me want one for myself :) I love the packaging of Lush gift boxes, with their themed pretty wrapping paper and bows. This one in particular grabbed my attention because of all of the sweets in the design of the wrapping, but also the fact that the products inside have ingredients that is sugary, sweet and definitely my preferred type of scents :) It just looks like such a cute box!

The Christmas Penguin Bubble Bar I haven't used a Lush bubble bar in what feels like forever! I don't have bubble bars very often, so when I do they feel sort of like a special treat. The lovely smell of Lush bubble baths and that they often make the water a different colour too make them so awesome! This festive penguin not only looks super adorable, it's almost filled with citrus oils! I need to hurry up and get my hands on one before they are gone until next year!

Mint Julips Lip Scrub I've been telling myself to get a lip scrub already for so long now, and I don't know why I still haven't! I am feeling just that little more tempted now though since my lips have been suffering from the weather lately, and they even split yesterday :( ouch! I need to invest in some nice lip care products, and the ingredients in this one sound fabulous. It contains of course peppermint, but also jojoba, marigold flowers (which we grow in our garden every year already) and vanilla. It sounds good enough to eat! The website describes it as mint chocolate (without the chip!) so that has be interested!

Sacred Lotus Bath Bomb Okay firstly how cool does this bathbomb look!? And the name is awesome too! On the little video on the Lush website, the bathart that it creates looks fabulous and I have a mighty need to try it! I might be my favourite item on this entire wishlist. It does contain jasmine which as I've mentioned is not something that I like, but it has neroli oil which I do like so hopefully the jasmine is not too strong. Have you ever used this bathbomb guys? If so, I'd love to hear what you think about it :)

Thankyou for reading!

Do you have any bath products on your wishlist right now?

Also, do you have an absolute favourite product from Lush?
 I'd love some recommendations!

January Wishlist

Hello lovelies :) If you are a regular reader of my blog, you'll know that I've been having a tough time at the moment with my mental health and that my blog posts have been very scarce over the last month. I am finally starting to feel in a better place again, and I thought it was about time I shared something with you guys! I hope you all had an awesome weekend, and that you enjoy reading through my January wishlist.

January Wishlist

1. Deaths Head Moth Necklace by Curiology I have been lusting over this brand's jewellery for a while now. I absolutely love the look and design of this moth necklace. Deaths Head Moths appeal to the horror fan in me and instantly make me think of the incredible movie, The Silence of the Lambs. I used to be terrified of moths, until I got into nature photography as a hobby and realised just how beautiful they were close up. I recently got a bat neckace that had a similar design and I would love to add more like it to my collection, starting with this moth necklace.

2. Baby Beaver Cross Body Handbag How adorable is this bag!? Although, it's clearly a Sea Otter? Come on Grindstore! I bought a Sloth bag from Attitude Clothing a couple of months ago that was pretty similar to this and I think it's awesome that there are different animals available. I will never have enough cute, novelty shoulder bags. I think the bright yellow star is a lovely addition to the design, adding a little colour to the bag.

3. Lush 'Lovestruck' Bathbomb I am a massive Lush fan as my readers will know by now. I am a lover of bathbombs in general (that's all I ever seem to post on my instagram anyway!), and the ones made by Lush are a firm favourite of mine. I think it's so awesome how Lush take advantage of different special occassions and release themed products. The Valentine's range is lovely, especially this heart-eyed emoji one. The fact that one of the ingredients is lemon makes me want it even more because citrus scents are great!

4. Wrendale Squirrel Magnetic Shopping Pad Wrendale have some of the most beautiful animal illustrations that I've ever seen; they are so nice. I go through a lot of list pads because I'm seriously list-obsessed, so I'm always on the look out for pretty list pads. I love this one because of the squirrel, which immediately makes me think of the character by Beatrix Potter, Squirrel Nutkin (forever my favourite of the stories).  What's your favourite Beatrix Potter story/character?

5. Pro Cats Pro Choice Enamel Pin As a pin badge collector, I come across new pins online that I want almost everyday! I've spotted this lovely little pin by Punky Pins around instagram a lot and I would be so happy to add it to my collection. Punky Pins make such awesome badges and patches... you need to check them out if you haven't already!

6. NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream I first heard of NYX cosmetics whilst watching Ru Paul's Drag Race and I have been curious about trying it for myself after since. Quite a few of my favourite vloggers on Youtube use NYX lipsticks and I've seen some really pretty shades. The ones I want the most right now are 'Transylvannia', 'Madrid', 'Copenhagen', 'Berlin' and 'Budapest'. How awesome that they are named after cities too! I'm impressed that are only £5.50 each too. Has anyone used this NYX lipstick before? Please let me know what you thought in the comments :)

7.  Colton Candles 'Large Candy Floss' Over the last month or so, I've been trying to practice a lot more self care in a bid to uplift my mood and to relax. One of my favourite things to do to cheer myself up is to have a nice, long bath. I always use a bathbomb, pop on my spotify playlist and light candles. By candles, I mean a ridiculous amount of them! haha meaning that I've done through so many candles lately and I am in need of some new ones. I thought this would be the perfect time to try some new brands out, and one of those is Colton Candles. I love how pretty the packaging is and I am interested to see what this Candy Floss candle smells like! I've never used soy candles before either so that's another reason why I would love to try this candle.

8. Red & Black Tattoo Flocked Dress I love that Yours Clothing has been stocking Hell Bunny clothes for a few months now. I have always loved Hell Bunny's dresses and it's nice that they are available in a variety of plus sizes. There's a few dresses that I am after from the Hell Bunny collection at Yours Clothing right now, however this year one of my aims is to wear more colours that I would normally be too nervous to wear. I would love to challenge myself to wear a red dress, as I usually go for black or dark shades. I love the ribbons on this dress too!

Thankyou for reading!

Christmas Lush Haul

Happy Saturday Everyone! I can't believe it's a week away until Christmas; time has flown by this month! And I guess what? I still haven't finished doing all of my Christmas shopping! hahaha please tell me some of you are in the same boat right now. I'm going to spend the next few days gathering the last of my presents and sending out Christmas cards, and it will be feel so good when I'm finally all prepared for the special day :) Today, I'm going to be sharing with you all of the lovely products I bought in my recent Lush Haul. The Christmas range at Lush is always amazing, and I've been really looking forward to showing you guys which ones I chose. I hope you enjoy reading. Happy Holidays!

Lush Haul

As usual, my haul is made up of mostly Bath Bombs because Lush Bath Bombs are literally one of my favourite things in the world! They are such fantastic quality, the fragrances are lovely and strong too, and the colours that these bathbombs contain always surprises me! They leave my skin feeling smooth and smelling great. I literally can't stop smelling myself after I get out of the bath. You know you all do this too ;).

Since there is no Lush store in my hometown, I visited the store in the Manchester Arndale shopping centre when I went over to visit the Christmas Markets with my mum. I had a budget for the day, which included money for the markets and to pop into the Build-A-Bear-Workshop to buy the new Charmander plushie. However, I spent so much in Lush that I barely had any left for the markets, oops! Even though I also had a £10 gift card for the store that one of my amazing friends bought me for my birthday back in October! haha. So here's what I bought, as well as a couple that I got as Christmas presents for my loved ones that I can't show on here :)

Christmas Lush Haul

What I bought in my Lush Christmas Range Haul

• Northern Lights Bath Bomb
• Mistletoe Bath Bomb
• Father Christmas Bath Bomb
• Luxury Lush Pud Bath Bomb
• Never Mind The Ballistics Bath Bomb
• Ickle Baby Bot Bath Bomb (I got one for my nephew's birthday, and one for myself to try out)
• Lord of Misrule Bath Bomb (I really loved this product when I bought it at Halloween, so I couldn't resist getting another!)
• Santasaurus Bubble Bar

This adorable little dinosaur was the only bubble bar I got. I'm not a huge fan of bubble baths so I only buy a bubble bar if it looks really pretty or if it smells amazing! I got this one because it's a dinosaur, and I bloody love them! It was impossible for me to walk past them and not get one. It smells great too, a lovely citrusy scent. The ingredients includes Brazilian Orange, Cream of Tartar, Glycerine and Bergamot (another citrus fruit). He's almost too cute to use!

Above you can see the Ickle Baby Bot; it's another really sweet little bath bomb that's shaped like a robot :) It's specifically made to be used for children (any age over 6 months) with a mild formula that is gentle on their skin. It's intented to be used before bedtime and includes ingredients such as a lavender, chamomile and sandalwood. I'm not personally a huge fan of lavender but I wanted to see what it was like since I bought one for my nephew. It was also so cheap at only £1.95!

Christmas Lush Haul

These two bath bombs (plus the Ickle Baby Bot) were the only products that I knew I wanted to purchase before I went into the store. I was drawn to the Mistletoe Bath Bomb mostly because of the fact it was a Christmas edition and it was a pretty colour so I was curious to see what bath art it would make. It has a strong floral fragrance made up of jasmine, ylang ylang and vetivert. I can't wait to try it! Last year, I spotted the Father Christmas Bath Bomb all over instagram and was gutted that I hadn't got myself one, so that's why it was at the top of my list this year! I'm saving him to use on Christmas Eve or Day. I absolutely love his design, it looks so cool. The ingredients are: sodium bicarbonate, synthetic musk and gardenia. Fellow lushies, which is your favourite out of the two?

Christmas Lush Haul

I really love the pink and yellow colour combination so it was impossible to ignore the Never Mind the Ballistics Bath Bomb. Upon closer inspection, I also thought it was so cool because the pink part feels something like wax, which I've never seen on a Lush Bath Bomb before! It's another fabulous fragranced product too containing fresh banana, orange and lime oil and fair trade cocoa butter. I'm excited to find out what happens when it's dropped into the bath :)

The Northern Lights Bath Bomb is another unique-looking product. The name of it definitely interested me because I imagined it would be very colourful inside. It has always been a dream of mine to visit Iceland or Norway and see the Northern Lights for myself. One of my best friends recently went to Iceland and saw them, and I'm super jealous! Before I get carried away with myself, the ingredients inside this Christmas Bath Bomb are ylang ylang and jasmine, oh and cream of tartar.

I came across the Lush Luxury Pud Bath Bomb on tumblr and just needed it! It was the first Bath Bomb that I deviated from my shopping list to get and it kickstarted my spending spree, oops! It was too colourful to resist, and I thought that the little holly detail on top was so sweet. If it didn't look so awesome, I'd probably not have bought it because it contains lavender, as well as benzoin, ylang ylang and tonka. I've actually already used my Lush Luxury Pud because it was too tempting to wait until I wrote up this post. To see what it looked like in the bath, head over to my instagram. It is one of my favourite Lush products so far and I couldn't really smell the lavender in my bath, which I was very pleased about.

Christmas Lush Haul

Well, I am certainly all stocked up on Bath Bombs for a while now. I'm really impressed with the amount of Christmas bath products that Lush releases each year. Usually you see maybe two seasonal Bath Bombs released by other companies, but Lush make so many different ones. It's very awesome! There's something for everyone, and seasonal items pretty much across their entire product range. There's more Bath Bombs that I didn't get, however I think I'll see if they have them next year :)

Thankyou for reading!

Easter Lush Haul

I've been a busy bee today and I can't believe how quick the day has gone! I've been excited about showing everyone the lovely lush products I purchased a good few weeks ago. They are all really pretty, smell so good & I can't wait to start using them. I'm looking forward to seeing what lush will bring out next! I hope you all enjoy today's post :)

I bought a selection of bath bombs and bubble bars that I'd spotted on instagram or that my friends had recommended. I love how colourful the Easter range is, and how many different shapes and styles they have in store. I especially love the flowers that decorate quite a few of their products and that some of them are egg-shaped! Have you spotted my little Easter sequins? They are so cute! I'm considering sprinkling them around my room. Just looking at them makes me smile!

The first item on my shopping list was the 'bunch of carrots'. I loved the unique design of these bubble bars, and I liked that they came in three different colours. I love how they are attached by string; they just look awesome. They contain a mixture of buchu oil, lemon oil and bergamot oil so they have a lovely citrusy smell to them, and I'm a big fan of citrus. The next bubble bar I wanted to grab before they sold out is the Ladybird. It was part of the Mother's Day range and it was just too cute not to buy. It smells really nice, a mixture of peppermint and geranium oil. It reminds me of the smell of my garden in summer as we always have lots of geranium flowers. I love how bright the red body of the ladybird is!

Another adorable lush product that I really loved was the Humpty Dumpty bathbomb. I mean look at it... It's got a bowtie and a massive cheerful smile! I love the blue and white colours and how big this bathbomb is, but I'm a little sad that mine doesn't have a bright yellow bowtie as is advertised. It's still awesome and I'm really interested to see what it will do once added to the bath. It's another citrus-fragranced product, containing bergamot oil and brazilian orange oil :)

I ordered two items that are not part of the Easter range but were on my wishlist. I was recommended the Fizzbanger bath bomb by several of my friends so I thought it was about time I tried it for myself. I've seen a few photos of what it looks like in the bath so I'm really excited to use it, but I'm not a huge fan of the scent which is a combination of cinnamon leaf oil, ylang ylang oil, oak moss extract, petitgrain oil and cream of tartar... I think it's a bit strong. It also contains popping candy, which is great! I picked up an 'Elbow Grease' moisturising bar becasue I've heard so many good reviews about it, and I'm intrigued to see if it will brighten up my tattoo and help with my dry skin.

The Fluffy Egg is my favourite item in this lush haul. It's so pretty, plus I'm lovin' the bright pink colour and zig-zag detail. It smells really sweet too, with a mild hint of citrus. I choose the Creamy Candy bubble bar mostly because of the name, and then I saw that vanilla and cocoa butter were some of ingredients, as well as almond oil. It just sounded so perfect for Easter and I LOVE vanilla (it's my favourite scent!). The description is 'bathing confectionery' which also makes it sound super sweet, and the little flower just completes it.

The final product I chose was the 'Pop in the Bath' bubble bar, purely because it had a big flower on it and it thought it looked lovely. It did have a little yellow piece in the centre of the flower, but it fell out and I have no idea where is it :D I love the shade of blue used on this bubble bar and again, it's ingredients is a selection of different citrus fruit oils: lemon, bergamot, mardarin and orange flower, so I'm going to be a very happy bunny using this in my bath. I'm very happy with all of the items I got; let me know if you'd like me to write some reviews for them :)

Thankyou for reading!

Have you bought any of the Lush Easter range? What's your favourite product?

Another Lush Haul

I recently used up my last bubblebar and so decided it was about time I did another lush haul :) It didn't take long for me to become a lushie after my first lush haul. Lush Cosmetics makes a fantastic range of bath and beauty products, and their bathbombs are definitely a personal favourite of mine. I love that they make bathtime such an awesome, almost magical experience. I sometimes feel like a mermaid when I'm surrounded by bright swirls of rainbow colours and glittery water. The fragrances are so nice and getting into a lush bath really cheers me up when I'm having a bad day. So, here's what I bought...

 1. Guardian of the Forest Bath Bomb
2. Twilight Bath Bomb
3. Intergalactic Bath Bomb
4. Frozen Bath Bomb
5. Dragon's Egg Bath Bomb
6. Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar
7. You've Been Mangoed Bath Oil
8. Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment Bath Oil

I couldn't wait until I wrote this post to use this bathbomb because it's one that I really wanted after spotting photos and videos of it on instagram, so I tell you already that it's awesome! It smells really nice, containing a mixture of grapefruit, rose and neroli. It looks lovely in the bath and I really enjoyed it. The dragon's egg bathbomb was the first lush product I ever bought and it was awesome so I thought I'd pop another in my shopping cart :)

How photogenic are lush bathbombs though? :) they always look so gorgeous! Everytime I do a shop at lush I can't not buy an Intergalatic bathbomb. So far, it's my favourite one and it will take a lot for another product to overtake it on my mental scoreboard. I love the scent of mint and it just looks incredible both like this, and once it's dropped into the water. If you haven't tried this one yet, I thoroughly recommend getting yourself one when you next visit a lush store. I was unsure about whether to get the Twilight bathbomb, it looks so pretty and from what I've seen, it looks great when used in the bath but I'm really not a fan of lavender. It's scent has always made me feel a little sick so I'm hoping that if I fill my bathroom with yankee candles, it will drown out the lavender and I can enjoy all the pretty colours :D

Green is my favourite colour and the shades of green that I love the most are those that remind me of emeralds and evergreen forests, which is what attracted me to this bathbomb. As soon as I saw what it looked like in the bath, I had to try it for myself. The smell to me resembles the scent of freshly cut grass and is quite nostaglic because it makes me think about playing on the local park with my friends in summer when I was little... when the council would send people to cut the grass with one of those lawn mowers that you can drive (I don't have a clue if they have a specific name!). They would always leave huge piles of freshly cut grass everywhere, which me and my friends would gather up to make walls and little 'fortresses'. We would spilt up into teams and pretend we were from different kingdoms having a battle and there would be epic grass fights! I would always come home with my clothes covered in grass stains. It was great fun! I can't wait to use this bathbomb.

The unicorn horn bubble bar looks so gorgeous! I almost can't decide if I wanna use it, or keep it forever :) (I might have to buy several more before they go!). Again, it's another lavender-scented product, but how could I not buy one? It reminds me of those 'rainbow dust' straws filled with sherbet, they were so good! I've never tried lush bath oils before so I'm really looking forward to trying them. The little yellow & pink one smells so so good; it's a combination of marshmallow, almond and coconut. I'm lovin' the name of the 'You've been mangoed' bath oil, it brings back memories of those Tango adverts in which someone got absolutely soaked in Tango with the slogan 'You know when you've been tangoed' at the end :) remember those? I'm curious about how these bath oils will 'dissolve' into the water.

I almost forgot to mention this little cutie (my mum disagrees and thinks it looks quite creepy haha, what do you think?). This is the 'Ickle Devil bathbomb' and I think it's been made to be used by children; it has a mild scent of sandalwood, lavendar and chamomile. They were running out of stock online when I purchased it so I'm not sure if it's still available. It's adorable and unique, and I love how it came with this little polaroid card

 Thankyou for reading!
