Christmas Lush Haul

Happy Saturday Everyone! I can't believe it's a week away until Christmas; time has flown by this month! And I guess what? I still haven't finished doing all of my Christmas shopping! hahaha please tell me some of you are in the same boat right now. I'm going to spend the next few days gathering the last of my presents and sending out Christmas cards, and it will be feel so good when I'm finally all prepared for the special day :) Today, I'm going to be sharing with you all of the lovely products I bought in my recent Lush Haul. The Christmas range at Lush is always amazing, and I've been really looking forward to showing you guys which ones I chose. I hope you enjoy reading. Happy Holidays!

Lush Haul

As usual, my haul is made up of mostly Bath Bombs because Lush Bath Bombs are literally one of my favourite things in the world! They are such fantastic quality, the fragrances are lovely and strong too, and the colours that these bathbombs contain always surprises me! They leave my skin feeling smooth and smelling great. I literally can't stop smelling myself after I get out of the bath. You know you all do this too ;).

Since there is no Lush store in my hometown, I visited the store in the Manchester Arndale shopping centre when I went over to visit the Christmas Markets with my mum. I had a budget for the day, which included money for the markets and to pop into the Build-A-Bear-Workshop to buy the new Charmander plushie. However, I spent so much in Lush that I barely had any left for the markets, oops! Even though I also had a £10 gift card for the store that one of my amazing friends bought me for my birthday back in October! haha. So here's what I bought, as well as a couple that I got as Christmas presents for my loved ones that I can't show on here :)

Christmas Lush Haul

What I bought in my Lush Christmas Range Haul

• Northern Lights Bath Bomb
• Mistletoe Bath Bomb
• Father Christmas Bath Bomb
• Luxury Lush Pud Bath Bomb
• Never Mind The Ballistics Bath Bomb
• Ickle Baby Bot Bath Bomb (I got one for my nephew's birthday, and one for myself to try out)
• Lord of Misrule Bath Bomb (I really loved this product when I bought it at Halloween, so I couldn't resist getting another!)
• Santasaurus Bubble Bar

This adorable little dinosaur was the only bubble bar I got. I'm not a huge fan of bubble baths so I only buy a bubble bar if it looks really pretty or if it smells amazing! I got this one because it's a dinosaur, and I bloody love them! It was impossible for me to walk past them and not get one. It smells great too, a lovely citrusy scent. The ingredients includes Brazilian Orange, Cream of Tartar, Glycerine and Bergamot (another citrus fruit). He's almost too cute to use!

Above you can see the Ickle Baby Bot; it's another really sweet little bath bomb that's shaped like a robot :) It's specifically made to be used for children (any age over 6 months) with a mild formula that is gentle on their skin. It's intented to be used before bedtime and includes ingredients such as a lavender, chamomile and sandalwood. I'm not personally a huge fan of lavender but I wanted to see what it was like since I bought one for my nephew. It was also so cheap at only £1.95!

Christmas Lush Haul

These two bath bombs (plus the Ickle Baby Bot) were the only products that I knew I wanted to purchase before I went into the store. I was drawn to the Mistletoe Bath Bomb mostly because of the fact it was a Christmas edition and it was a pretty colour so I was curious to see what bath art it would make. It has a strong floral fragrance made up of jasmine, ylang ylang and vetivert. I can't wait to try it! Last year, I spotted the Father Christmas Bath Bomb all over instagram and was gutted that I hadn't got myself one, so that's why it was at the top of my list this year! I'm saving him to use on Christmas Eve or Day. I absolutely love his design, it looks so cool. The ingredients are: sodium bicarbonate, synthetic musk and gardenia. Fellow lushies, which is your favourite out of the two?

Christmas Lush Haul

I really love the pink and yellow colour combination so it was impossible to ignore the Never Mind the Ballistics Bath Bomb. Upon closer inspection, I also thought it was so cool because the pink part feels something like wax, which I've never seen on a Lush Bath Bomb before! It's another fabulous fragranced product too containing fresh banana, orange and lime oil and fair trade cocoa butter. I'm excited to find out what happens when it's dropped into the bath :)

The Northern Lights Bath Bomb is another unique-looking product. The name of it definitely interested me because I imagined it would be very colourful inside. It has always been a dream of mine to visit Iceland or Norway and see the Northern Lights for myself. One of my best friends recently went to Iceland and saw them, and I'm super jealous! Before I get carried away with myself, the ingredients inside this Christmas Bath Bomb are ylang ylang and jasmine, oh and cream of tartar.

I came across the Lush Luxury Pud Bath Bomb on tumblr and just needed it! It was the first Bath Bomb that I deviated from my shopping list to get and it kickstarted my spending spree, oops! It was too colourful to resist, and I thought that the little holly detail on top was so sweet. If it didn't look so awesome, I'd probably not have bought it because it contains lavender, as well as benzoin, ylang ylang and tonka. I've actually already used my Lush Luxury Pud because it was too tempting to wait until I wrote up this post. To see what it looked like in the bath, head over to my instagram. It is one of my favourite Lush products so far and I couldn't really smell the lavender in my bath, which I was very pleased about.

Christmas Lush Haul

Well, I am certainly all stocked up on Bath Bombs for a while now. I'm really impressed with the amount of Christmas bath products that Lush releases each year. Usually you see maybe two seasonal Bath Bombs released by other companies, but Lush make so many different ones. It's very awesome! There's something for everyone, and seasonal items pretty much across their entire product range. There's more Bath Bombs that I didn't get, however I think I'll see if they have them next year :)

Thankyou for reading!

Halloween Lush Haul | Blogtober

Yayy! I've been very much looking forward to showing you all my most recent Lush haul :) As soon as some of the Halloween products started popping up on my instgram feed, I just needed to get my hands on them and try them out for myself. I was so happy the other day when the postman bought a box from the Lush Kitchen to my door, and it has been difficult resisting the urge to use them before taking photographs! Anyhow, I hope you enjoy reading! Who doesn't love a Lush haul?

Blogtober: Halloween Lush Haul

I literally cannot visit a supermarket at this time of year without coming out with a pumpkin in hand, even though it's not Halloween for another 2 weeks and this one will probably have gone bad by the time it's socially acceptable to start putting jack-o-lantern's in your windows at night. Oh well, like I ever cared about what's socially acceptable! I'm really glad I got it because it came in handy for these photos, too. Have any of you bought a pumpkin yet?

Lush have stocked some lovely new products for Halloween :) My haul consists of mostly bathbombs though because I don't have bubble baths often and because I just bloody love bathbombs! I will forever be fascinated by all of the colours that come out of lush bombs as they dissolve and the pretty bathart they make. Just writing this is making me get giddy about using these new Halloween goodies, haha! So, here's what I bought...

Halloween Lush Haul

Lush Halloween

The bathbombs I bought: Pumpkin, Autumn Leaf, Monsters' Ball and the Lord of Misrule. I also couldn't resist this adorable little 'Boo' bath melt, and the 'Sparkly Pumpkin' bubble bar. Which one catches your attention first? For me, it's the Monster's Ball bathbomb :) I actually bought two of these.

Lush Halloween Pumpkin Bath Bomb

I absolutely adore the design of this Pumpkin bathbomb! It makes me think instantly of Jack Skellington on Halloween night, and get the urge to burst into song with 'This is Halloween'! It has a simple fragrance of cinnamon, which comes from the pimento berry (allspice) element used as well as vanilla. I hope it makes my bath a bright orange colour!

Lush Autumn Leaf Bath Bomb

This is the first of the Halloween collection that I spotted on instagram and it just looked gorgeous when it was melting into the water! The smell of it reminds me of the Lush 'Guardian of the Forest' bathbomb... it has a strong, earthy scent that hopefully will make me think about being surrounded by trees and foliage in the woods when I'm in the bath. The ingredients include: sandalwood, bergamot, Japanese maple and neroli oil.

Lush Monsters Ball Bath Bomb

This bathbomb is so cute! I gave myself a spoiler by looking at the little video that it shows you on the Lush website, which I usually try to scroll past as quick as possible, because I was really curious about what it would look like in the water. I immediately added two to my basket so I was clearly impressed! The fragrance is lovely too, including a mix of lime, fair trade cocoa butter, neroli and olibanum. This will be the first bathbomb from my haul that I'll use because I'm too excited to wait.

The Lord of Misrule was a bathbomb that everyone was sharing about on social media last year and I was super jealous that I didn't have one, so I was over the moon when I noticed that it was back in stock. Green is my favourite colour so it appealed to me right away, but I know that inside there's pink, and well green & pink is one of my favourite colour combinations. It makes me think of sweets! It's another great smelling bathbomb, made up of vanilla, black pepper and patchouli, which is a herb from the same family as mint. Mint and vanilla are some of my most loved scents so it's no wonder that I already love this bathbomb before even using it. Did you get a Lord of Misrule bathbomb last year? What did you think?

Although I don't use bubble bars very often, I couldn't say no to popping this one in my shopping cart. I love the shape of it, as it reminds me of those little squashes that you can get in the fruit and veg aisle at this time of year. I think they are cute, is it normal to find a vegetable cute!? :) haha! From what I gathered from the Lush website, it is based on the pumpkins from the Cinderella story, which is awesome! I now understand all the glitter! The ingredient for this Sparkly Pumpkin are juniper berries, grapefruit and lime, a lovely mix of fruity scents.

This sweet little bath melt has been attacked by the sparkley pumpkin as you can see, as was my hoodie, my camera, my living room floor! Glitter is lovely but omg, is it annoying! Next week, I expect to find a random speck of orange/gold glitter stuck to my face or something! This bath melt is so cute that I'm going to feel sad using it, watching it's adorable face disappear into the water. It's made mostly of cocoa butter, and has several oils infused: ginger, mandarian, gernanium, bergamot and mimosa. It's so cool how so many elements can go into such a small bath melt, it smells lovely.

I'm seriously so impressed with all of the different Halloween-themed products available! It's so awesome to see a company putting such emphasis on my favourite holiday of the year, as lots of companies seem to neglect Halloween and as soon as Autumn arrives, just focus on Christmas products. I can't wait to start using my new bath products!

Thankyou for reading!

Easter Lush Haul

I've been a busy bee today and I can't believe how quick the day has gone! I've been excited about showing everyone the lovely lush products I purchased a good few weeks ago. They are all really pretty, smell so good & I can't wait to start using them. I'm looking forward to seeing what lush will bring out next! I hope you all enjoy today's post :)

I bought a selection of bath bombs and bubble bars that I'd spotted on instagram or that my friends had recommended. I love how colourful the Easter range is, and how many different shapes and styles they have in store. I especially love the flowers that decorate quite a few of their products and that some of them are egg-shaped! Have you spotted my little Easter sequins? They are so cute! I'm considering sprinkling them around my room. Just looking at them makes me smile!

The first item on my shopping list was the 'bunch of carrots'. I loved the unique design of these bubble bars, and I liked that they came in three different colours. I love how they are attached by string; they just look awesome. They contain a mixture of buchu oil, lemon oil and bergamot oil so they have a lovely citrusy smell to them, and I'm a big fan of citrus. The next bubble bar I wanted to grab before they sold out is the Ladybird. It was part of the Mother's Day range and it was just too cute not to buy. It smells really nice, a mixture of peppermint and geranium oil. It reminds me of the smell of my garden in summer as we always have lots of geranium flowers. I love how bright the red body of the ladybird is!

Another adorable lush product that I really loved was the Humpty Dumpty bathbomb. I mean look at it... It's got a bowtie and a massive cheerful smile! I love the blue and white colours and how big this bathbomb is, but I'm a little sad that mine doesn't have a bright yellow bowtie as is advertised. It's still awesome and I'm really interested to see what it will do once added to the bath. It's another citrus-fragranced product, containing bergamot oil and brazilian orange oil :)

I ordered two items that are not part of the Easter range but were on my wishlist. I was recommended the Fizzbanger bath bomb by several of my friends so I thought it was about time I tried it for myself. I've seen a few photos of what it looks like in the bath so I'm really excited to use it, but I'm not a huge fan of the scent which is a combination of cinnamon leaf oil, ylang ylang oil, oak moss extract, petitgrain oil and cream of tartar... I think it's a bit strong. It also contains popping candy, which is great! I picked up an 'Elbow Grease' moisturising bar becasue I've heard so many good reviews about it, and I'm intrigued to see if it will brighten up my tattoo and help with my dry skin.

The Fluffy Egg is my favourite item in this lush haul. It's so pretty, plus I'm lovin' the bright pink colour and zig-zag detail. It smells really sweet too, with a mild hint of citrus. I choose the Creamy Candy bubble bar mostly because of the name, and then I saw that vanilla and cocoa butter were some of ingredients, as well as almond oil. It just sounded so perfect for Easter and I LOVE vanilla (it's my favourite scent!). The description is 'bathing confectionery' which also makes it sound super sweet, and the little flower just completes it.

The final product I chose was the 'Pop in the Bath' bubble bar, purely because it had a big flower on it and it thought it looked lovely. It did have a little yellow piece in the centre of the flower, but it fell out and I have no idea where is it :D I love the shade of blue used on this bubble bar and again, it's ingredients is a selection of different citrus fruit oils: lemon, bergamot, mardarin and orange flower, so I'm going to be a very happy bunny using this in my bath. I'm very happy with all of the items I got; let me know if you'd like me to write some reviews for them :)

Thankyou for reading!

Another Lush Haul

I recently used up my last bubblebar and so decided it was about time I did another lush haul :) It didn't take long for me to become a lushie after my first lush haul. Lush Cosmetics makes a fantastic range of bath and beauty products, and their bathbombs are definitely a personal favourite of mine. I love that they make bathtime such an awesome, almost magical experience. I sometimes feel like a mermaid when I'm surrounded by bright swirls of rainbow colours and glittery water. The fragrances are so nice and getting into a lush bath really cheers me up when I'm having a bad day. So, here's what I bought...

 1. Guardian of the Forest Bath Bomb
2. Twilight Bath Bomb
3. Intergalactic Bath Bomb
4. Frozen Bath Bomb
5. Dragon's Egg Bath Bomb
6. Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar
7. You've Been Mangoed Bath Oil
8. Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment Bath Oil

I couldn't wait until I wrote this post to use this bathbomb because it's one that I really wanted after spotting photos and videos of it on instagram, so I tell you already that it's awesome! It smells really nice, containing a mixture of grapefruit, rose and neroli. It looks lovely in the bath and I really enjoyed it. The dragon's egg bathbomb was the first lush product I ever bought and it was awesome so I thought I'd pop another in my shopping cart :)

How photogenic are lush bathbombs though? :) they always look so gorgeous! Everytime I do a shop at lush I can't not buy an Intergalatic bathbomb. So far, it's my favourite one and it will take a lot for another product to overtake it on my mental scoreboard. I love the scent of mint and it just looks incredible both like this, and once it's dropped into the water. If you haven't tried this one yet, I thoroughly recommend getting yourself one when you next visit a lush store. I was unsure about whether to get the Twilight bathbomb, it looks so pretty and from what I've seen, it looks great when used in the bath but I'm really not a fan of lavender. It's scent has always made me feel a little sick so I'm hoping that if I fill my bathroom with yankee candles, it will drown out the lavender and I can enjoy all the pretty colours :D

Green is my favourite colour and the shades of green that I love the most are those that remind me of emeralds and evergreen forests, which is what attracted me to this bathbomb. As soon as I saw what it looked like in the bath, I had to try it for myself. The smell to me resembles the scent of freshly cut grass and is quite nostaglic because it makes me think about playing on the local park with my friends in summer when I was little... when the council would send people to cut the grass with one of those lawn mowers that you can drive (I don't have a clue if they have a specific name!). They would always leave huge piles of freshly cut grass everywhere, which me and my friends would gather up to make walls and little 'fortresses'. We would spilt up into teams and pretend we were from different kingdoms having a battle and there would be epic grass fights! I would always come home with my clothes covered in grass stains. It was great fun! I can't wait to use this bathbomb.

The unicorn horn bubble bar looks so gorgeous! I almost can't decide if I wanna use it, or keep it forever :) (I might have to buy several more before they go!). Again, it's another lavender-scented product, but how could I not buy one? It reminds me of those 'rainbow dust' straws filled with sherbet, they were so good! I've never tried lush bath oils before so I'm really looking forward to trying them. The little yellow & pink one smells so so good; it's a combination of marshmallow, almond and coconut. I'm lovin' the name of the 'You've been mangoed' bath oil, it brings back memories of those Tango adverts in which someone got absolutely soaked in Tango with the slogan 'You know when you've been tangoed' at the end :) remember those? I'm curious about how these bath oils will 'dissolve' into the water.

I almost forgot to mention this little cutie (my mum disagrees and thinks it looks quite creepy haha, what do you think?). This is the 'Ickle Devil bathbomb' and I think it's been made to be used by children; it has a mild scent of sandalwood, lavendar and chamomile. They were running out of stock online when I purchased it so I'm not sure if it's still available. It's adorable and unique, and I love how it came with this little polaroid card

 Thankyou for reading!

Lush Haul

I went shopping in Preston, Lancashire yesterday. It's the closest city to me and it's better to travel there than to shop at my local shopping centre because there's more shops and just a better shopping atmosphere in general. Plus, it has a Lush store!

I've been wanting to try Lush bath bombs for ages now, but since I spent the majority of my time over the last three years living in university campus accommodation where I only had a shower, I never had the opportunity to try any. I suppose I could have bought some when I was home for the holidays but I never got around to it but now I've graduated and I'm back home, I have no excuse! I went through a phase of using bath bombs when I was younger but I have sensitive skin and one of the bath bombs I once used irritated my skin so it put me off using them. Lush products have been recommended to me by my friends who also have sensitive skin, and when I tried my first lush bath bomb in June this year, I was not disappointed! I purchased the 'Dragon's Egg' bath bomb, which smelt lovely, left my skin soft and was so fun to use. There was an awesome surprise in the centre but I won't spoil it for those of you who haven't tried it yet. Seeing instagram photos of lush products has been very persuasive and so I've decided to try more bath bombs along with bubble bars and a body butter.

1. Intergalactic bath bomb
2. The Experimenter bath bomb
3. Candy Mountain bubble bar
4. Bar Humbug bubble bar
5. Sakura bath bomb
6. Lemony Flutter cuticle butter

This bath bomb looks absolutely gorgeous and after seeing photographs of what it looks like once it's in the bath, I'm so so excited to use it! It has such pretty colours and the glitter just makes it look so magical

I cannot resist bright coloured things so I had to get this bath bomb! I can't wait to see what colour it turns my bath water!

As soon as I saw the name of this bubble bar, the cartoon Charlie the Unicorn popped into my mind... 'We're going to Candy Mountain, Charlie!' haha :) Who else has seen these videos? I think they are hilarious! This bubble bar looks like something straight out of a fairy tale. It's such a pretty pink colour!

I wanted to try out a Christmas product, and when I heard this one made your bath water dark purple, I was intrigued. It has a strange scent, which I sort of like and don't like if that even makes sense. I wanted to try the Peeping Santa bubble bar but I decided to wait until it's closer to Christmas.

This bath bomb has such a pretty name... Sakura is a japanese word meaning 'Cherry Blossom'. I don't usually like floral scents, but I liked this one so I thought I'd give it a go. I've heard it makes your bath water turn pink...that shoud be fun!

I LOVE the smell of this cuticle butter so much! It's really strong lemon, and i'm a big fan of citrus scents. I'm looking forward to my body smelling of lemons! It's a lovely bright colour too, and I'm hoping it helps fix the rough skin on my knees and feet. I'll report back in a few weeks :)
