January 2021 Kawaii & Geeky Wishlist

Hi guys! It's time to share my first wishlist of 2021, and also my first kawaii & geeky wishlist post for MONTHS now!! To be honest, I felt really unmotivated last year when it came to writing wishlists (and blog posts in general, oops...) because well, 2020 was a shitshow; I found myself feeling gloomy for most of the year and not really wanting anything other than books and yummy snacks and gifts for sending in snailmail to my lovely friends across the globe. However, I am crossing my fingers and toes that twenty-twenty one is better! And thus, I'm trying to get back into my usual way of blogging, which includes finishing off each month by sharing a list of cute and fandom-related goodies from around the internet that I am currently lusting over :) Enjoy!

1. Funko Tokidoki Sandy Pop! Vinyl If you've been a regular reader of my blog for a while, you will know that I am a big fan of the super cute Italian brand, Tokidoki. I have been collecting their vinyl figures for years now and I especially love their stationery, too. You may also be able to imagine how excited I was earlier this month when Funko announced that they have teamed up with Tokidoki to bring us four Pop! vinyl figures. As unicornos were the first tokidoki figures that kickstarted my love for the brand, there's just something about the look of the unicorno Pop! that I don't like, but I will be hopefully adding the other three to my collection! Vinyl toys are one of my most favourite things in the world, and this wishlist, as you can see, is pretty vinyl toy heavy! Sorry, not sorry :D

2. Kawaii Cat Paw Pastel Switch Case Those of you who follow me over on my social media, particularly on instagram, more than likely know that for Christmas, my sister surprised me with Animal Crossing: New Horizons!! Eeeee! I am very late to the game, as I don't own a Nintendo Switch and definitely couldn't afford one last year with decorating my bedroom and whatnot, so I had to watch everyone playing during the release hype and it sucked T_T. Well, my sister only went and bought a switch, and she has been letting me play around on her island ever since, until I can get my own switch and play the game she got for me! I have recently been looking around for some accessories ready for when I can get a console of my own, and I came across this lovely pastel blue cat themed case. I need it in my life!

3. PomPomPurin Kitten Plush Keychain This item almost didn't make it onto this month's wishlist because I actually wanted another similar item from Artbox, the larger PomPomPurin Kitten plushie. It's sold out though *cry cry*! I decided that the collection is too cute not to feature at all, and so wanted to show off the keychain version to you guys. My all-time favourite Sanrio characters are Kuromi and PomPomPurin, and I LOVE cats, making this PomPomPurin kitten mascot collection purrrrfect for me. I hope I can get my paws on that plushie some day! Do you guys have a favourite Sanrio character?

4. Funko Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends Eduardo Pop! Vinyl Ever since I started my Funko Pop! collection back in 2015, I have been hoping that they would create a figure of Eduardo, and they finally have!! The reason why there is so many Funko figures in today's post is because there's been a release event throughout the month called the Funko Fair, and we are getting to learn about all of the upcoming products from the company. This means that the items I've chosen are only available for pre-order right now. Are there any that you guys are excited about? Anyhow, when I was a kid, I absolutely adored Eduardo from the Cartoon Network show Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends (2004-2009). He was such a sweetheart, an anxious wreck which I could very much relate to, and I just wanted to give him a big hug! (I loved Coco, too, and would constantly imitate her, haha! Let's hope they create a Pop! of Coco as well). He's gonna look so cute on display in my room :)

5. A5 Gudetama Spinout Notebook The Sanrio character Gudetama has definitely grown on me! More so after learning about the backstory of this little egg character, and finding that it resonated with me. I'm still not 100% sold on his sad expression, but there's so much cute merch available for him that it's difficult not to like him! This notebook, for example, is lovely. I have to admit that the main reason I want this is because of the Japanese writing, so Gudetama is a bonus. I liked it even better than I read that it's made from recycled paper, which is cool and I am curious to discover what the quality is like. I've not purchased anything from Typo before. I want to change that in 2021! Do any of you like Typo?

6. Funko His Dark Materials Lyra Pop! Vinyl Early last year, I watched the BBC series that was adapted from a book of the same name by Phillip Pullman, after I saw so many people recommending it. I'm glad I did because I loved it and immediately had a mighty need to acquire the book series. I am very much looking forward to reading them! At the moment, I'm around half way through the season 2 of the show, and it's just as great so far! I'm delighted that Funko have chosen to make merch :) Who else has read the books or watched the show?

7. The Witcher Wild Hunt Yennefer Nendoroid My favourite watch of 2020 was by far Netflix's The Witcher. I thought it was brilliant!! I've never played the games and am yet to read the books that inspired them all, so I don't know how accurate the show was to the original storyline, but as a late birthday present to myself, I got the book set (thanks to my best friend's parents and the birthday money they very kindly gave me!). I showed it off over on my tiktok when it arrived! Yennefer was my favourite character, and I cannot wait to learn more about her. I have wanted to get a nendoroid figure for the longest time, and I am thinking that this one should be my first!

8. AMUSE KuneKune Utsubo Moray Eel Plush This is another plushie where I had to opt for second best! Tofu Cute were selling the big eel plushies and they sold like hot cakes, as they saying goes. I really need one in my life!! But a mini one will have to do for now :) I am a collector of plushies from the Japanese brand, Amuse (I collect too many things, haha!), and I think it's so fabulous that they have made eels. It's so random! How could I not want one!? Tofu Cute's Instagram reels and tiktok videos with the eel plushies in haven't helped though!!

9. PopMart Pucky Forest Fairies Blind Box I have had my eyes on PopMart's wonderful figure collections for ages and I thought it was about time that I looked for a seller in the UK! Earlier this month, I bought my first from Didi Inspired Gifts, and I have fallen in love with them!! They were from the PopMart X Momiji range, so now I want to venture into Pucky territory, starting with a super cute fantasy/nature collection. I blame my friend Estelle, who blogs over at Estellosaurus. Her latest Youtube video is an unboxing of Pucky and more, all of which she purchased from the website linked here. The packaging was so cute and I'm going to have to do a haul soon. It's all your fault, Estelle!

So, there's my first kawaii & geeky wishlist of the year! I hope you all enjoyed reading, despite it being so full of vinyl figures! I am just a little obsessed with them, and it was a challenge not to include several on every wishlist I've ever written :D I'll be back with another wishlist at the end of February, but for now, I would love to hear what's on your wishlist this month!

Thankyou for reading!

Wishing you all a wonderful February!

July 2019 Kawaii & Geeky Wishlist

Happy Saturday! I hope you're all having a fabulous start to the weekend, and the new month, too! There were so many things that I wanted to do last month, but it just wasn't to be, like my monthly kawaii & geeky wishlist! Oops, it's here now though! At this point, I may as well get 'it's better late than never' tattooed on me because it's turning out to be my own personal catchphrase :D I've started this month off in a much more productive way, and I have the fullest of intentions of continuing this way, so fingers crossed I can maintain it! I hope you all have the best months. Here's to August being a time for us to all get some stuff completed that we've been putting off for ages (self-projection much). Enjoy reading my July wishlist, even if it is late, haha!

1. The Magician Tarot Notebook I have always loved the design of artwork on tarot cards. I think they are beautiful! My love for the tarot cards aesthetic first started when I was in my early teens and discovered Wes Craven's The People Under the Stairs, which soon became one of my favourite horror movies and still is! At the beginning of the movie, it features tarot cards, but I don't want to spoil things so I won't explain why :) You should totally check out this movie if you're into 80's horror though. Anyhow, this notebook really caught my eye because of its fantasy and horror theme. As an alternative person, the cover is right up my street! It is part of a series, too, featuring other tarot card cover designs, and to be honest I just want them all.

2. Llama Lap Warmer How adorable is this fluffy llama lap warmer!? Alpacas are one of my favourite animals and with llamas being in the same family as them, I can't help but love them too! I know that it's not the season for hot water bottles or warmers of any kind, but I would love to pick up this lap warmer to put away for those cold Autumn nights. I have been after a lap warmer style plushie for ages now, because all the ones that I've ever come across seem to be lavender scented, and I am personally not a fan of the smell of lavender at all. I just find it too overpowering and it makes me feel sick, so the fact that this Llama one is unscented (as far as the item description has me to believe) makes me so glad. Plus, it just looks super soft and snuggly!

3. Funko Rainbow Troll Pop! Vinyl Figure Funko needs to calm down making so many amazing Pop! Vinyl lately because I already own 104 Pops and I would appreciate having some money left in my bank account after each payday! However... I need this new Rainbow Troll in my life :D Just looking at it hits me with so much nostalgia and its multi-coloured hair looks fabulous. I have a mighty need to add it to my collection, but my bank account is safe for now because it's only available on pre-order at the moment. Who else had trolls toys when they were a kid?

4. What The Duck Psyduck Pin This pin by I am Luna Sol is so sweet!! I've always thought that Psyduck was a pretty cute Pokemon, especially when it turned its head side-to-side in confusion like you see dogs do, but this pin just makes me see Psyduck is a much more adorable light! The little sparkles in its eyes are lovely, and I love the yellow and gold combination. I think it's super pretty! But my favourite thing about this pin is the 'what the duck' slogan :D It's so relatable, and grouped with Psyduck's confused expression just reminds me of myself reacting to stupid things I see happening on the internet, or takes me back to my mathematics lessons at school... because Psyduck's expression perfectly reflects my own when dealing with the mindfuck that is numbers, haha!

5. Sass & Belle Roarsome Dinosaur Backpack There's not one Sass & Belle product that I don't love! They make the most wonderful things, and I would happily buy them all if I had more spending money. However, there are some items that I just have to have, and that includes this backpack! As much as I love my trusty Vans X Hello Kitty backpack that has been with me for years & years now, I do feel like it would be nice to have a variety of backpacks to choose from and to coordinate with my outfits and/or mood on a particular day :) I am a big fan of dinosaurs, and even more so, when they are colourful, and even though I don't 100% trust myself not to ruin something white, I want this bag so much! Fellow dinosaur lovers, I would love to know your favourite in the comments.

6. Animals of Farthing Wood A4 Print The artwork created by Sushi Studios never fails to awe me. It is honestly incredible, and I cannot wait until the day when I get my own place where I have all the walls available to cover with their work! Right now though, I can definitely find a space to fill with this beautiful A4 piece based on the 90's cartoon show, The Animals of Farthing Wood. Not only did I enjoy this show as a small child (listening to the theme song still makes my heart happy), but I have had a lifelong love for forest animals (maybe this show is one of the reasons for that!) so there is just so much that appeals to me in this print! It's only £6 as well, which is great considering it's A4 :) What were your favourite cartoons when you were a kid?

7. Pusheen Dinosheen Mystery Series If you've been a regular reader of my blog for a while, you will be well aware of how much I am a fan of Pusheen the cat. I can't imagine that I'm never not going to love anything that is made by the creators of Pusheen! One of my favourite versions of this adorable chubby kitty that has been made is the Dinosheen, and I just found out last month that they have released a mystery series of plush keyrings, with 7 different prehistoric Pusheens to collect. Oh my gosh, I have to have them all!

8. Unicorn Die-Cut Magazine File I am someone who constantly writes notes on loose sheets of paper or on random memo pages (even though I own way 'too many' notebooks) and then accumulates massive piles of them all over her room. Therefore, I am certainly in need of some sort of file or whatever they are called to throw them into, so I can stop having to dig through papers to get into my drawers or actually get back some of my floorspace :D I own ring binders and such, but it's so much easier to have a box to put things into, and this one from Paperchase is gorgeous! It has unicorns and stars and moons and all the galactic colours so what's not to love about it!?

9. Watercolour Turtles Phone Case The final item that I'm including in my monthly wishlist is probably the one I am in most need of, and is the item I need to prioritise getting the most, as much as I have a mighty need for everything I have featured in today's post. I usually have a chibified fandom-related design on my phone, but I wanted to opt for something a little different this time. This design by PooSparkles (what an awesome name!)on Etsy is super pretty and is done in watercolours, which I absolutely love! I like how the colours are mild but still very eye-catching, and it has a reptile on it so it is impossible for me not to love it!

Thankyou for reading!

May 2019 Kawaii & Geeky Wishlist

Hello guys! I hope you've all been having a lovely week! Here comes the end of another month... I know I'm probably starting to sound like a broken record, but I literally cannot get over just how quickly this year seems to be flying by. Like how it is June tomorrow? HOW?? Well, since it's the last day of the month, it is wishlist time :) I have actually been lusting over quite a lot of things this month, so it was challenging to narrow them down for today's post, but I did it! And I hope you all enjoy reading!

1. Build-A-Bear Psyduck Plushie YAY! I was hoping that the release of the Detective Pikachu would inspire the Build-A-Bear Workshop to release more Pokemon plushies! I mean, they could have been planning to make a Psyduck all along but since this little cutie was one of the main Pokemon characters in the new movie, I think it was the best time for them to introduce him to their Pokemon collection. I have always thought Psyduck was adorable, but to be honest he was a kind of forgettable character when I watched the anime series as a kid. However the one in the movie was so relatable for someone with anxiety, like myself, and I think he might actually be my spirit animal XD so now I need this plush! It's available with the sweetest little raincoat and hat too!

2. Funko Pop! Vinyl Harry Potter Fawkes figure Funko have just released some new Pop! Vinyl's of characters from Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire and to be honest I want them all! It was tough to decide which to share on my wishlist, but in the end, I just had to choose the Fawkes figure, because it's so unique and epic-looking, especially with the flames! I have been hoping for so long to see Fawkes as a Pop! and when Funko started making Fantastic Beasts figures, I knew it was only a matter of time before we got Dumbledore's fabulous Phoenix. The other Pops released along with Fawkes were: Professor Trelawney, Viktor Krum, Fleur Delacour, Cedric Diggory and Harry Potter (all of the students are wearing their Yule Ball outfits!).

3. Pokemon Detective Pikachu Plush Keychain I was considering picking up some of the new merchandise that the Japanese Pokemon Center released for the new Detective Pikachu movie last month, but I ended spending my money on playing ichiban kuji instead (it's so addictive!). After going to see Detective Pikachu at the cinema with my best friend though, I immediately had a mighty need to get myself this plush keychain, as I really enjoyed the movie! Since I already have my big Pikachu from Build-A-Bear, I just want to get myself a little plushie of the super cute detective! I hope I can buy this keychain soon :)

4. TokiDoki Cactus Bunnies Blind Box I am in love with these new blind boxes!! If you've been a regular reader of my blog for a while now, you will know that I am a toy collector and hobbyist toy photographer, and that I have a slight obsession with figures by the Italian brand TokiDoki! One of my absolute favourite collections by them has always been their Cactus characters. In fact, I came across a Hello Kitty X TokiDoki cactus collaboration plush when I was a teenager that I adored and that is how I first learnt about the brand :) Well, TokiDoki are apparently mind-readers! I have been thinking for ages now that there should be a rabbit version of the Cactus figures, to join the cat and dog collections already available... they have finally answered my prayers. I NEED THEM ALL!

5. Set of 3 Dragon Pin Badges How gorgeous are these pins!? They are part of a collection that was inspired by Game of Thrones, and to be honest, I would love to own all of the pins! The collection was designed as a collaboration between the Black Wanda Shop and Mongane Brret Shop, and this set of three dragons is my favourite of the lot. They are just so pretty, and I love dragons so much! They are currently out of stock, but they will be restocking soon and I really hope I manage to get them! I love how simplistic the design of the dragons are and the pastel colours used. I also think it's awesome that you get three pins for only £14, that you can wear separately or altogether.

6. Banpresto Hermione Granger QPosket figure Aren't QPoskets just the loveliest figures!? I have always loved them, but ever since I bought my first one from Japan Award last year, I cannot resist wanting more! (If you're interested, you can check out my first QPosket here). Most of the ones I've seen have been of Disney characters, and a few DC ones, but recently, the Harry Potter ones have been brought to my attention. I wish there was a Luna Lovegood version, but Hermione is still a fabulous character and this Qposket of her with book in hand is fantastic! She's unfortunately out of stock on the website I use at the moment, but as soon as she's back in stock, I'm gonna snap her up :)

7. Safely Endangered Comics by Chris McCoy I'm so happy that there's now going to be a book filled with the Safely Endangered Comics! These marvellous illustrations by artist Chris McCoy never fail to make me giggle, and I feel like I'm in need of something to inspire happiness in my life to look at everytime I require a pick-me-up. Who else loves the Safely Endangered artwork? If you haven't seen it, you have to check them out! You can find them on Instagram and Tumblr

8. Vans X Harry Potter Ravenclaw trainers Okay, so these shoes aren't even out yet, but ever since I heard about them, they have been on my wishlist so I thought I'd include them and bring them to your attention! I have always loved when Vans has done collaborations with my favourite franchises... I've had/have some Hello Kitty vans, Disney ones, Nintendo ones, and now they are going to be releasing a line for one of my most beloved franchises, Harry Potter :D There's going to be a different design and style of trainer for each of the Hogwarts Houses. I have to admit that I was  a little 'worried' when I first heard about them, that the Ravenclaw one would have a massive Raven printed on the side of the shoe or something... and if you're a fellow Potterhead, you'll likely be as annoyed as I am that so many companies seem to think that the emblem for Ravenclaw house is a Raven. It's super annoying! Even some of the official Warner Bros merch has a Raven instead of an Eagle... I'll stop now before I get carried away with my nerdy ranting :D But yeah, even though these Vans shoes might have a tiny Raven symbol somewhere, they are mostly safe from this mistake as far as I can see, and I am a big fan of the design they've gone for. I think they are the best shoes from all of the four House designs available, and I'm not just saying that because I'm a Ravenclaw, haha. I am in need of some new shoes, so I am looking forward to their release.

Thankyou for reading!

March/April 2019 Kawaii & Geeky Wishlist

Happy Saturday Everyone! It's approaching the end of another month (where is this year going!?) and so I thought it's about time I shared another Kawaii & Geeky wishlist with you guys! I decided last month that I was going to share another combined wishlist, since I'm finding that most of the items I want are toys & figures, and I don't want to bore you all with a list full of those, haha! Although if you're a fellow Funko fan and would like me to post a wishlist dedicated to those, then please let me know in the comments :) I know that I have sucked at blogging this month (sorry!) >.< but hopefully next month will be better. But for now, here is a long-awaited post!

1. House Stark Winter is Coming Zip Hoodie I am in serious need of a new hoodie! I am one of those people who will continue to wear my hoodies until they are literally falling apart XD However, a catalogue from EMP came through my door yesterday, and it was filled with Game of Thrones merch, including lots of hoodies & tees. This hoodie is kind of pricey, considering it's not an official branded product (I think), at just over £40 but if it's great quality then it's worth it for me! I used to have an official HBO Stark sigil hoodie, and I would love another to help me rep my love for the franchise.

2. Unicat Lined Notebook by Paperchase I am in love with all of the items in Paperchase's 'OK Play' range! I really love the colour scheme, and of course the unicat is absolutely adorable! Its tail reminds me of one of those Flump marshmallow treats, and I love those. I like the sparkles around the unicat too, as they look like the emoji, which I definitely overuse :D What are your most overused emojis? I am always happy to get more notebooks and I feel a mighty need to add this super cute one to my collection!

3. Vaporeon Enamel Pin Badge by LyericWorks I am in love with all of the Eeveelutions pins by this fantastic artist! They are so bright and the design is just so sweet!! Vaporeon is my favourite Eeveelution, well in fact it's my favourite Pokemon of all, so I would love to own this pin the most :) To be honest, I just want them all! *Was totally considering making a 'Gotta catch 'em all' pun then*

4. I Heart Revolution Easter Egg Palette I know that this isn't necessarily kawaii, but I thought I'd include it on my wishlist anyway, since it's something that I want :) Last month, I spotted that Superdrug had some awesome little Easter Egg palettes available. They contain five eyeshadows and two highlighters, and are only a fiver! I love things that have a novelty shape. There's four varieties that are each a different colour and theme, and I'm a sucker for wanting to complete a full set, so I will probably try to get them all! My favourite, the pink one, is called 'Flamingo'; it has peach and coral tones and I think these will be perfect for Summertime. But there's also Chick (featuring reds and ambers), Candy (featuring pinks and purples), and Chocolate (with browns and neutrals). Which one appeals most of you? My go-to would usually be browns and neutrals (unless there was a grey and black option), but I want to try something different.

5. Hamtaro Button Badge Set by Mi-Eau Oh my goodness! I literally squeaked when I first came across these button badges!! I was pretty obsessed with Hamtaro when I was around 11 or 12. I used to watch it every night after school on Fox Kids, and I would constantly be drawing the characters. I even named one of my pet hamsters Hamtaro :D I barely ever seen merch of this adorable anime, so when I do, I get to excited! Mi-Eau has two sets available, each with six different characters. I prefer this one, but I need them both in my life!

6. Funko Pop! Charmander Vinyl Figure I am so over the moon that Funko have been releasing Pokemon Pop! figures, and I finally got my hands on the Bulbasaur one! It's just so pretty and I love it so much!! I aim to add the other two Pokemon figures to my collection, including Charmander, who is the newest one and a Pop in a Box exclusive. It's super annoying that only the US and Canadian Pop in a Box websites have released it, because I'm a subscriber to the UK one and they should make it available to all of their customers! But since I managed to get the Bulbasaur one on the US Amazon, that's where I'll get Charmander from too! There's a Pikachu one, but it was a Target exclusive over in the States and it's proving harder to source for a reasonable price!

7. Radish Spirit Acrylic Keychain by BrightBat I am a big fan of Studio Ghibli and Spirited Away is one of my favourites, especially because of all of the marvellous 'creatures' in it! I always thought that the Radish Spirit was so unique and cute, and it's not one of the main characters so you don't find much merch of it, which is a shame! I really love this design of it by BrightBat, it looks so chubby and cuddly (can radishes even be cuddly XD). It reminds me of a little sumo-wrestler, and I am yet to own an acrylic keyring so it would be great if this could be my first :) even if I might not be able to bring myself to actually attach it to one of my bags. Are any of you guys guilty of buying accessories and never actually using them for their intended purpose?

8. Funko Rock Candy Daenerys Vinyl Figure I told myself that I wasn't going to start collecting Rock Candy figures, which are another line of figures by the brand Funko, because I already collect their Pop! Vinyl's, Mystery Minis and Pint Size Heroes, but I cannot help myself XD I have a problem! I bought my first one when I went to a Harry Potter Convention last year, and after seeing how photogenic that figure was, I'm now lusting over so many of the others! I keep seeing photographs featuring this Daenerys Targaryen one around on the Instagram Toy Photography community, and it's so gorgeous :) Game of Thrones is taking over my thoughts lately and I feel really motivated to do some themed photography, especially with this figure so I need it! Are you a fan of Game of Thrones? If so, I'd love to know who your favourite character is ; let me know in the comments!

Thankyou for reading!

January/February 2019 Kawaii & Geeky Wishlist

Hello lovelies! And Happy Love Day to my fabulous readers and fellow bloggers :) I decided to share my Kawaii & Geeky wishlist a little earlier this month, considering it's going to be a joint wishlist... you may have noticed that I didn't share a wishlist in January, and that was because there was barely anything that I wanted other than books!, with it just having been Christmas. So for today's post, I am combining the couple of items I was after in January with what I want at the moment. I hope you all enjoy reading!

1. Funko Dragon Ball Z Android 17 Pop! Vinyl I was so over the moon when I discovered that Funko were planning to release more Dragon Ball Z characters, and especially excited when I learnt that Android 17 & 18 would be in the line up! These two were in my top 5 characters from this amazing anime series when I was a kid, specifically Android 18, and so I can't wait to add their Pop! figures to my collection! It won't be long until I reach 100 Pops! :O

2. Funko Dragon Ball Z Android 18 Pop! Vinyl The design of Pop! figures is getting better and better over time, and I really love the stances that they are now creating their figures in. I really love the sass in Android 18's stance! It is so perfect for her character, and these two look great together on photographs as far as I've seen :) After Vegeta and Cell, Android 18 is my third favourite character. My fellow DBZ fans, who are your favourite characters? I also love Piccolo and Gohan!

3. Pokemon Saiko Soda Series Vaporeon Plush This super adorable plush, along with the Android Pop's, is one of the items that I wanted back in January, however after Christmas, I was skint! But hopefully I can now get my hands on this lovely Vaporeon from the Soda Pop/Mix Au Lait collection. To be honest, I want all of the Eeveelutions, and even the Pikachu, from this collection, but that would cost so much! T_T I might just get a Leafon too... (I have too many plushies XD).

4. Amuse Usa Dama-Chan Vinyl Figures As my regular readers will know by now, I have a little bit of an obsession with vinyl figures, especially when they are kawaii! I recently spotted these Amuse ones on Tokyo Otaku Mode and oh my gosh, they are so cute, I need them!! I just love everything made by the Japanese brand Amuse, and think these sweet little bunnies would look perfect all lined up on a shelf. Not that I have any space left :D but I WILL find a way to allow for more figures, haha! Which colour would you choose? My favourite are the yellow and the orange & white one :3 It's a shame that the website is an international one, which for me in England means pricey shipping, because these figures are so cheap!

5. Sass & Belle Chasing Rainbows Notebook I'm a sucker for new notebooks, and I am yet to own one from Sass & Belle so I am very tempted to get this 'Chasing Rainbows Spread Happiness' A5 notebook, to pop into my bag to jot notes and blog ideas down whenever I'm out and about. I really like the mixture of vibrant and pastel colours on the cover, and the design is really pretty! It's very photogenic, perfect for those Instagram shots :p Chasing Rainbows instantly makes me think of a line in the UK's 2018 Eurovision song by SuRie, and that makes me happy :)

6. Harry Potter Letter Set I have wanted this letter set every since I spotted in when having a nosey for Christmas presents online. I think it's lovely and you can never have too much fandom merch, right!? One of my hobbies is snailmail/penpal letter writing and so I am always looking for new letter paper to shock up on :) I very much like the old-fashioned style of this Harry Potter set, and love that it comes with stickers that resemble the Hogwarts Crest wax seals!

7. Weishi Art Ninetales Pin I recently came across this wonderful artist over on Instagram, and I am in love with their illustrations and products. There's so much on their website that I want, including this fantastic Ninetales pin! It is the cutest Ninetales pin that I have seen, and I have a mighty need to add it to my pin collection!! That big red eye though, melts me heart :3 Also if you're a fan of Pokemon, you'll hopefully enjoy my last post which you can check out here. We love a good shameless post link :D

8. Happy House Animal Mechanical Sharpener I have wanted one of these mechanical pencil sharpeners for the longest time, but all of the designs I've seen for sale in the UK are boring, plain, dull-coloured ones that didn't appeal to me. I am so messy when it comes to emptying shavings out of sharpeners, no matter if I'm standing over a bin, I still without fail somehow manage to cover myself and/or the floor with bits! :D So I would love to own one of these sharpeners which have a much bigger tray inside, so I don't have to empty it as often XD Also, I just love the novelty of the lever thingie, haha. Thankyou Tofu Cute for stocking these pretty versions!

9. Amuse Fuwaneko Mew-Chan Plush JUST LOOK HOW CUTE THESE KITTIES ARE!? Mew-Chan!! How cute is that name too!? I literally squeeee'd when I came across these plushies on the Tofu Cute website. Does anyone remember those 90's cat plushies called 'Kitty, Kitty, Kittens' by Tyco? :) I have a grey one which I've had since I was at nursery and his name is Whiskers! Then when they re-released them back in the 2000's, I got another, a ginger & white one. They have the sweetest little expressions on their faces :) Anyhow before I get off topic, these remind me of the Japanese equivalent of them! I need the grey and white one in my life, because I love grey animals! Three of my precious hoppy furrbabies are grey! This cat's name is 'Grey Gretel' and that is just the sweetest name too. I. NEED. IT.

10. King of Scars by Leigh Bardugo The final item on my wishlist is one that was brought to my attention last week, again on Instagram... which is going to be the death of my bank account at this rate :D I am looking for more fantasy books to read this year, and I like that this one is new and is one of two books (I think?) so I can follow along with the series from the start basically. Plus, that cover and title is giving me Song of Ice & Fire by George R.R. Martin vibes, so I am very curious. Leigh Bardugo wrote the Six of Crows series and people seem to love that, so I want to read some of her books and I'm gonna start with this one. Who's read it? Would you recommend? Any other fantasy recommendations would be most welcome :)

Thankyou for reading!

I hope you've all had a lovely day, and that you've given yourself some love & brought something nice as a present to yourself!

November 2018 Kawaii & Geeky Wishlist

Hi everyone! Here I am finally sharing a long awaited monthly wishlist!! It's only been a few months since I last posted one but it feels like forever... what is it with this year!? It's seemed to go by so fast, yet somehow still drag. Can anyone else relate? To be honest, I'll be happy when it's over and I can start 2019 afresh; I'm determined to make next year a good one, full of achieved goals and personal triumphs! Tomorrow is the first day of December, and I hope all of us have a wonderful final month of 2018 to make up for this past year, haha! Now, let's get back on a more cheerful note... who doesn't love some geeky and kawaii goodness!? It was pretty tough to put together this wishlist because in the lead up to Christmas, it's a challenge to decide what presents I'm going to buy for my loved ones, let alone what I want for myself! So the wishlist in today's post is going to be a little shorter than usual, but I hope you enjoy reading it nonetheless

1. The Tales of Beedle The Bard by JK Rowling After reading the Harry Potter novels earlier this year, the Wizarding World has been pretty much consuming my life XD I spend so much time watching Harry Potter fan theory videos on YouTube and reading & writing fanfic, and my overall nerdiness for the Harry Potter universe has grown so much! I already loved the movies as a child/teenager, but I feel I appreciate them, and the stories themselves, much more as an adult, and whenever I see any books that are related to the original novels by JK Rowling, I just have a mighty need. I recently spotted a poster advertising this book when I went to the cinema to see Fantastic Beasts 2 with my best friend, and I would love to have a read! Especially of the Tale of the Three Brothers :)

2. ASDA Unicorn Ornament My sister purchased this gorgeous ornament not too long ago and I've wanted my own ever since! It's so pretty and would go perfectly with my bedroom once it's decorated. My colour theme will be colourful & pastel, and this ornament is decorated with lovely pastel stars! I can't believe it's only £5!! It's also a lot bigger than it looks on the website!

3. EMP Exclusive LOTR Elrond Funko Pop! I am currently reading the Lord of The Rings books by JRR Tolkien (I don't know why it's taken me so long to read them!) & I am so in love with the folklore and the mythical creatures/peoples, especially the elves. I have always loved elves, but these books, including The Hobbit, has made me love them even more! I now really want to add some Lord of The Rings Pop! Vinyl to my collection, starting with the new EMP Exclusive Elrond figure. It looks awesome online, and I bet it looks even better in person!

4. Pomsies Plush Toy How adorable is this plushie though!? I fell in love with them as soon as I saw them, and it's all Estelle's fault!! XD She tweeted about them and I have wanted one ever since. My favourite is 'Patches' (the one I've used a photo of) but there's four different characters available, all with a different colour/pattern. Seriously though, how could I not fall in love with Pomsies!? Those big eyes! Plus they are so unique, oh and they even light up and make adorable noises!! Fingers crossed that Santa Claus leaves one of these cuties under my tree this Christmas!

5. The Wild Thornberry's Nigel Funko Pop! I am so over the moon that Funko have finally released a collection for The Wild Thornberry's! Ever since they included some of the characters in their Nickelodeon Mystery Mini's blind boxes, I have been waiting for them to create Pop! versions, and my wish has come true! The Wild Thornberry's was one of my favourite cartoons as a kid, and I especially related to Eliza who is also a geek and an animal lover! I always dreamt of being able to talk to animals :) Nigel however was definitely on par with Eliza as my favourite characters. He was hilarious and I have always been a fan of Tim Curry! I need to add all three of the Wild Thornberry's figures to my collection!

6. Sass & Belle Little Llama Bookends Everyone who knows me well will be aware how much I love alpacas! One of the first things that started my obsession with Japanese kawaii culture was the fact that there was so much alpaca merchandise, from plushies to chibi alpaca cartoons! I was really happy when the llama craze hit the UK  because, well llama are close relatives of the alpaca, both being in the Camelidae family of mammals, and so many of the llama designs don't look anything like llamas but more like alpacas! Which means that I can just pretend it's an alpaca and give myself an excuse to buy it! Just like these fabulous bookends by Sass & Belle. I cannot picture a more perfect bookend to go on my shelves now! I love the shade of blue that they've chosen for them, it's one of my favourite colours! I also really like the simplistic design of them :) I think they are really well priced at £15 for the pair too!

7. Tofu Cute Kawaii Cat Lovers Bundle Something that is fabulous about Christmas Time is that all of my favourite online stores start selling bundles and offering other awesome bargains that are perfect for gifts, but also for treating one's self :D And I am very tempted to do just that with this awesome cat lovers bundle from Tofu Cute. It does seem a little pricey but Japanese items are generally more expensive here in the UK, and you do get 11 items in this bundle, including a plushie, stationery & yummy Japanese sweets! I think this would make a wonderful Christmas present for your loved ones who are fans of all things kawaii! There's also a dog lovers version available too :) I wish they'd made a rabbit one! (There's still time Tofu Cute!!)

8. Rick & Morty Simple Rick's Candle Are any of you guys fellow Rick & Morty fans? Do you have a favourite character? Mine are Birdperson, Tinkles the Imaginary Friend & Mr Rick Sanchez himself! Other than Funko figures, I am yet to own anything Rick & Morty related because well most of the items I've seen have been the typical mugs, bottle openers, band tees, etc., and as much as I like those, there's shows that I love more that I'm more likely to buy that type of merchandise for. Sorry Rick & Morty! However, lately I stumbled upon a couple of candles on the Merchoid website and having not seen anything like this before for the show, my attention was instantly grabbed! There's two available, but this one is my favourite because of the colour scheme and the sweet scent! It is more expensive than I would usually pay for a candle that isn't a Yankee Candle glass jar one, but I do really like that it comes in a tin! If you've been a reader of my blog for a long time, you'll know that I have a bit of thing for tins :D (does anyone else have a love for something random?). There are several other fandom related candles on the Merchoid website, if you want to go check them out. Candles always make great Christmas gifts in my opinion! In winter when the night is dark and full of terrors, I always want to light candles!

Thankyou for reading!

August 2018 Kawaii & Geeky Wishlist

Hey lovelies! I hope you've all had a wonderful day, and that you have a fabulous weekend too! What are your plans? I don't plan on doing much of anything :D Well, other than binge watching some shows that I've been meaning to watch for ages! I know I'm probably starting to sound like a broken record now... but oh my gosh, how is it the end of another month!? 2018 is just speeding by! I am happy though because it's not long now at all until my favourite time of the year! In around twenty days, Autumn will be upon us and will bring with it all the glorious seasonal changes, as well as Halloween and my 26th birthday! Also, I think it's pretty cool that September 1st will fall on a Saturday this year, who agrees? I'm crossing my fingers that next month will be more productive than the last! So anyway, here's my monthly wishlist! I hope you all enjoy reading :)

1) Funko Pop! Vinyl Audrey 2 Figure I actually squealed when Funko announced that they were going to make some Pop! Vinyl figures from the Little Shop of Horrors, and I fell in love as soon as I saw them! If you've been a reader of my blog for a while, you'll know that I absolutely love musicals, but what you might not know is that the Little Shop of Horrors is one of my favourites! It was the first musical that I ever remember seeing, I was around 6 years old when my dad accidently left a video tape on record and discovered that it had taped this fabulous musical. So I can sort of blame my dad for my lifelong love of musicals, haha! :) I want every single one of the Little Shop of Horrors Pop's that they have released, which include: Audrey 2, Seymour with a baby Audrey 2 in hand, Orin the Dentist, and Audrey Fulquad herself. They are all super awesome! I hope that Funko keep making figures of characters from musicals... I want Cats figures next!!

2) Vox by Christina Dalcher This book was recently recommended to me by the lovely Estelle over at Estellosaurus and it sounds right up my street! I know that it's not technically a geeky item, but it's something that's on my wishlist right now so I thought I'd include it anyhow. I have seen it likened to The Handmaid's Tale in quite a few reviews, and since that's one of my favourite TV Shows and I also loved the book by Margaret Atwood, I thought I'd give Vox a read next :) The dystopian genre is fast becoming my favourite type of novel to read, and this one sounds so interesting. The book's blurb reads: 'Jean McClellan spends her time in almost complete silence, limited to just one hundred words a day. Any more, and a thousand volts of electricity will course through her veins. Now a new government is in power, everything has changed. But only if you're a woman...'. I'll let you check out the rest for yourselves :)

3) Farm Animals Origami Paper Folding Set I've been looking for some creative projects that I can get stuck into whenever I'm bored, to try and avoid me overthinking and letting my depressive thoughts consume my mind, and well, I'm not the best at art since I have crappy hand-eye coordination skills. I wanted to do something artsy that wasn't too much of a challenge, and since I love making 3D origami rabbits, I thought I'd have a go at making more animals. I recently scrolled across these origami sets on Tofu Cute, and they are just what I was looking for. It shows you how to make the most adorable cube animals, and at only £2.99, it's a bargain!

4) Converse X Hello Kitty Trainers It's been so long since I bought myself a new pair of trainers and these black & pink platform trainers from the new Hello Kitty collection by Converse are the perfect excuse! They are so cute!! It would be amazing  if they released some Hello Kitty additions of the classic 'Chuck Taylor All Star' converse :)

5) Tofu Cute Stationery Lucky Bag If you're just reading my blog for the first time, you won't know just how much I love surprises, especially in the form of blind bags, subscription boxes and lucky bags, but I seriously adore them! The novelty of not knowing what I'm going get has followed me into adulthood and I don't think it's something that I'm ever going to 'grow out of' :D Although you only have to look at my blog to see that I'm not a believer in restricting yourself to the confines of being an adult so to speak, I think that you should be able to love whatever you want to, and ignore anyone who wants to call your interests or tastes 'childish'! Anyhow before I get carried away with myself and end up ranting about that, let's talk about this awesome stationery lucky bag from Tofu Cute!! I have been hoping that they would bring out a stationery version of their lucky bags ever since they were first brought to my attention at Comic Con. The UK-based kawaii store sells a plushie and a snack lucky bag, and I am delighted that they now have a stationery one available! I will be getting myself one as soon as I can. You can check out what I got inside a Tofu Cute plushie lucky bags in one of my previous posts here

6) Jiji Necklace I love Etsy so much because it helps me find the most wonderful artists and stores! Last week, I came across an etsy seller called CherrylocoJewellery whilst searching for Studio Ghibli items, and fell in love with their Jiji the Cat Necklace! Jiji is a character from the Japanese animation movie Kiki's Delivery Service (1989), which is one of my top 5 Studio Ghibli movies! I don't see much merch of Jiji other than pin badges, so I would love to get myself one of these necklaces. I love how simplistic it is and how big Jiji's eyes are. It is such an eye-catching design in my opinion. It's also great that the artist is UK based so I can avoid paying any of those pesky customs fees with my order! Who else is a fellow Ghibli fan? Let me know your favourite of their movies in the comments :)

7) Blushsprout Hamtaro Pin Badges I am so so so over the moon that Blushsprout has released a collection of Hamtaro pins for pre-order! Hamtaro is a super adorable anime about hamsters, and it was one of my favourite shows as child/teenager. I even named one of my pet Syrian hamsters Hamtaro after the main character! The show will forever hold a place in my heart, and whenever I see anything to do with it, it instantly puts a smile on my face! I am super happy about these pins and I really want to order all of them!! There's all 14 of the Ham-Ham Gang, plus four bonus pins including three magical hamsters and the Ham-chat dictionary. The pins are based on the Hamtaro DS games, as well as from the anime, and they are all so pretty! I chose to use the photo of Sandy in my wishlist because she was one of my most favourite Hamtaro characters :) The pre-order price per pin is $10 and it's so hard for me to only pick a handful of them, so I'm having a real dilemma right now! Can I justify spending close to £100 on pin badges at once!? Help

8) Funko The Nightmare Before Christmas Mystery Minis It wouldn't be one of my wishlists if it didn't feature more than one vinyl figure, haha! I have a problem XD But lately Funko have been releasing the most amazing The Nightmare Before Christmas products in celebration of the Tim Burton movie's 25th anniversary! This is the third series of TNBC Mystery Minis that the company have made, and I have already decided that they are my favourite because of the chibi design of the characters. I want to collect them all! They are not available in the UK yet but you can pre-order them. It is estimated that stock will be expected in October which will be in perfect timing with Halloween around the corner! I'll end my August Kawaii & Geeky wishlist with a question :) It has been regularly debated amongst fans whether TNBC is a Halloween movie or a Christmas movie... What do you think?

Thankyou for reading!
