Hex Bomb Bathory Bloodbath | Review

Have you heard of Hex Bombs? I'll be surprised if you haven't yet! This incredible range of bath bombs has been taking the online world by storm recently. I've spotted them all over facebook, tumblr and instagram, and so many of my friends have been talking about them. A few weeks ago, I finally managed to get myself two of the Bathory Bloodbath ones when they were restocked and after they'd arrived, it didn't take long for me to use one! Oh my gosh, this bathbomb was so awesome! I've been so so excited to tell you all about it. Enjoy!
Hex Bomb Bathory, Hex Bomb, Hex Bomb Bloodbath,
I was really happy when I discovered that these bathbombs were only £3 each, as I was expecting them to be a lot more pricey so I will definitely be ordering loads more as soon as I can. The delivery was super quick and the products were packaged so well that it was actually quite hard to open haha. That's what I like to see, no risk of damage for these bathbombs! I love how the bathbombs come inside a little plastic tub so they are easy to store away in my drawers without ending up with bits of bathbomb powder everywhere. The bathbomb is an awesome size and it could be cut into two if you wanted, although I prefer to use bathbombs whole. I was instantly drawn to these bathbombs because of their unique, alternative-themed designs. All of them have fantastic names and it just makes them even more appealing. So, are you all ready to see the gory awesomeness of the Bathory Bloodbath? It honestly looks like I'm cleaning away the evidence of a murder :)

Hex Bomb Bathory Bloodbath, Hex Bomb Bloodbath, Hex Bomb Bathory,

Seriously, how cool does this look!? I was fascinated watching the bathbomb fizzle away in my hand and the red spreading throughout the water. It didn't take long to dissolve and for my bath to turn completely red. As soon as the bathbomb touched the water, the loveliest fragrance of berries was released and it smelt so good. It reminded me of those raspberry and blackberry sweets, hopefully you all know which ones I mean. The scent lasted for a long time too. The ingredients in this bathbomb are sodium bicarbonate, citric acid/ cornstarch, baby berry fragrant oil and red pigment. Almost every one of my friends has asked if it stained me or the bath? It did not haha

I 100% recommend the Bathory Bloodbath to you all, it was great fun to use and I'm really glad I bought two now. The quality is excellent and has only made me more excited to try the other Hex Bombs made by Bella Muerte Clothing. The next on my wishlist is the 'Black as your Soul' bathbomb. I truely felt like a vampire stepping into the bath, or like a warrior bathing in the blood of her enemies. Who doesn't want to feel like that? ;)
Thankyou for reading!

Have you ever used a Hex Bomb before? Can you recommend any similar alternative bathbombs?

  2. Haha! This looks like such a cool range! My first thought was wondering if it stained your skin, I'm glad to hear that it didn't! (I don't much care if they stain the tub, haha). I hadn't heard of Hex Bomb before. I see the Pearl Bath Bombs on my Facebook quite a bit, they look cute and they have rings inside them. A trend within a trend, haha.

  3. OMG I have been so excited for your review of this, and it hasn't left me feeling deflated at all about the product. I really want to try all of these, and I hope to be able to pick a couple of up once me and my boyfriend are settled into the house. Using these in autumn and winter would be amazing, and bring out my inner goth kid from when I was a teenager. :P
