Hey lovelies! Almost two weeks ago now, I went on a little holiday to Southport. I had a fabulous time, it was just really nice to get away to somewhere new and to be distracted from my typical everyday life. My depression was giving me a pretty hard time last month, so the holiday came at exactly the right time! We stayed at a Pontins Holiday Camp that was so close to the beach, literally a five minute walk, which was wonderful :) Since you all enjoyed my North Wales photo diaries, I thought I'd share another with you all today for my Blogtober Day 3 entry. Enjoy!
The beach near the camp was called Ainsdale Beach, and it was such a lovely, clean beach. Apparently, it's been given The Blue Flag Award for being a great quality beach. The beach is used a lot for activities and horse riding too. It is bordered with the most gorgeous sand dunes, which are part of a nature reserve that covers miles and miles of the Southport to Formby coastline. It's a safe haven for so many animals and plants! I haven't had the chance to explore sand dunes for years so I had a brilliant time. I'd love to visit again soon :)
Thankyou for reading!

Do you have a favourite beach? What's your favourite thing about going to the beach?
Oh, and who else has been to Southport?
Read all about the last time I visited the beach...
Oh wow what a beautiful beach! Such stunning photos :D I can't pick ONE fave beach... I love a few for different reasons. Like, I love Brighton beach and Brighton in general, but its not the most beautiful. Camber Sands was gorgeous, but busy. Portsmouth beach was a fave, felt truly like home to me! xo

It's so beautiful, right!? Thankyou :) I'd love to visit Brighton! I've been to the beach in Portsmouth when I was younger with my ex's family, it was a gorgeous day too and I have such wonderful memories from that day. I'd love to go back there some day! x
DeleteSo pretty! This whole beach looks so picturesque and beautiful. I don't really have a favourite beach, in summers we most often are on boats and go into the water from those, so the beach isn't entirely necessary ;) But I do enjoy relaxing in the sand and so on :)
